I wasnt too impressed withe the latest Bond offering.

What makes it lacklustre is the missing gadgets and Bondlike humour and whats is all that about with only 1 woman dying ???

There is talk that Will Smith and Steven Spielberg might make a US version of crazy Korean kidnap film Oldboy. I think President-elect Obama should move to stop this as it'll suck so much it hurts.

Saw the new Bond a couple of weeks back, it's pretty average stuff. A load of action scenes tacked together with a weak storyline which moves far too quick. Not a patch on Casino Royale IMO.

I see Body of Lies is released today for you lot in the UK. I saw it over here a couple of weeks ago.

I think its a great Movie, both DiCaprio and Crowe are excellent. But i think Mark strong (here on imdb) steals the show as Hani the head of Jordanian intelligence.

Not Ridley Scotts finest hour but very enjoyable all the same

Overall 8/10 for me.

That one where they're dangling around on ropes, that got on my nerves. So contrived. And not at all exciting. Couple of action scenes ripped straight off from Bourne.

I'd give it a 6/10 overall, whereas Casino Royale got 10/10.

Too revisionist, too un-involving.

Brilliant film! If someone should make an American version (why would they? it's there for anyone to see as it is!) the director should be Quentin Tarantino.

I watched Dead Mans Shoes last night, one of Shane Meadows earlier films. Absolutely gripping, terrifying and brilliant. Cost £1.99 from Oxfam too.

That was only made in 2004.

Great film, one of my favourites, and imagine it didn't cost much to make.

Terminator is going the same way as all those 80's horror films like Hellraiser and Nightmare on Elm Street. A good, but dated original being swamped by 200 increasingly rubbish sequels, spin off TV shows and so on.

I saw a few films over christmas:

Bad Santa - Drunk/BBW loving/Robbing Santa - Pretty funny

Cass - Based on Cass' life story who was involved in a WHU hooligan firm - Alright, nothing special

Zack and Mirri: Make a Porno - As it says on the tin - Some funny bits but it is a pretty poor film.
