Ricky Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 Hi All I'm starting to try to get back into a bit of design work. I'm doing a bit of photography and a little bit of web design on the side but really want to crack photoshop CS5. I've got it on a trial and I can get a cheap licence through work. I'm just starting to play with it and I'm completely stumped where to start. I've noticed there are quite a few books out there, does anyone know of a particularly good one? or of a good online tutorial site. There seem to be quite a lot of tutorials but I'd like to hear of any that people have found useful.

Iceman Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 I want to know the same thing, as I too would like to do a bit of web design etc. Is this the programme to do it with?
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 Depends what you want to do with it. There are millions of things you can do so there is no point getting a book if it's something too specific. If it's something specific, there will be guides online.
M-K Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 Have you tried the Adobe Exchange site? http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/exchange/ Pretty much any task you'd want to do with Photoshop, somebody has written a plug-in or action for it that you can download from there.
