Formica played well for about 45 minutes on Saturday (Cryer thinks 15 minutes).

I think he needs to be introduced slowly into the PL.

Goodwillie is a far better option today vs Villa IMO.

I personally do see some sense in easing Formica in mainly in home games, I imagine the same amount of people would complain that he wasn't playing Goodwillie if he was on the bench.

Formica , I can understand away from home , I think ..But no Petrovic and Dunn playing is odd too say the least !!

genuine question, is Petrovic match fit? I don't read as much into the Formica on the bench thing as some others, the 4-4-2 over 4-5-1 away from home is more concerning.

Agree on Formica Abbs, he should have started...perhaps with Goodwillie over Roberts.

Formica has faced Villa once in HK and played well, so not sure why he wasnt given a chance today!
