I personally think that this person should be named and shamed, the fans are the reason they are able to take a wage home at the end of the month, that applys to both club officials and players, no fans = no club.

What I would like to see though is how would the club react to fans openly criticise the way it is being run in articles such as Glen Mullans, can they stop fans airing their opinions, I personally would love to see how low the owners will go when dealing with disgruntled fans who protest within the confines of the law. Its obvious at the moment with the attitude of the club and its officials such as the muppet who you say dislikes this site and its posters will not accept criticism. I offer this challenge if the club don't like what I am saying then the Rao's may come round to my house and collect my season ticket because it is I and every other fan that makes any football club sustainable because without us there would be no sky money, ticket sales and revenue from kit sales and half time beer and pies. The sooner people at our club and football in general realise this the better.

Spot on, and perhaps we should get some sort of protest and/or campaign together with disgruntled fans of other clubs who have been treated with similar contempt?

Is it possible he may be under some sort of gagging order that was part of his pay off Kamy?...you may find that interview, like all other info at the moment, very hard to come by.

I think that he is but that will relate to his departure from the club, I don't think it will relate to things that happened before Venky's took over.

There is a certain person at Ewood who continues to block any official contact with the owner, this person seems to have a deep dislike of this site and it's members.

Souza? Works as the head of the Brazilian chain of Venky's.

True, as it stands, the Trust have got some serious questions which NEED to be answered.

Problem being John 'the Trust' as they were have probably been disbanded and no longer exist.

Well if the owners don't want to talk to us maybe we should just go to Sky and ask them to put our views forward. Anyone got contacts there?

Fair play..get the media to apply pressure.

Why the hell has it come to this?.......................

As an aside, I am working on something unconnected to BRFCS that would allow people to post safely an anonymously without US needing to have a solicitor on speed-dial. Using similar tech to wikileaks (back when wikileaks allowed anyone to submit information).

How soon do you think you'll have this in place, Glenn?

The Trust have holdings other than BRFC, didn't they? So shouldn't it still be in existence overseeing those assets?

A long time yet and my role is mainly advisory, but I'll check in with them soon. In the mean time, if there is stuff that needs to be publicized anonymously, there are ways of doing it.

.... such as ?

You'd have to ask them that, but it's hardly surprising, some of the nonsense on here makes my blood boil, but in these strange times some of the most outlandish rumors turn out to be true. The problem we now face is that there is no longer anyone at the club willing to talk to us on the record to confirm or deny such stuff (though I'm hoping Paul Hunt will come good).

Couldn't agree more Glenn :tu:

My views may not be popular, but I won't go out my way to make things up to support those views, but we have a certain element that continues to do so, although its not as bad as last season.

Also, players sold this summer £21 million, brought in £5 million, do you HONESTLY think they are spending ANY of their own cash? They are not benefactors!

We have a couple more deals to do, possibly 7m in transfers, if they happen and wages Matty, don't forget wages on 4yr deals, they'll have spent a few quid.

Lets not forget several posters claimed we’d not pay anything in transfer fees this window, which has been proven complete and utter bunkum.

To be fair, he has rather good reason to, but the game has changed since them, the stakes are higher, our clout is a lot more these days and he'll soon face much better problems than us. I've therefore offered him an olive branch (twice now) that I hope will be accepted and let bygones be bygones because ultimately we'd like to be more of a help to the club than a hindrance.

... and make no mistake, whilst John and Tom were always willing to talk to us, they both found a lot of the stuff written on the forum part of the site that made their blood boil.

It really is sad that they are not willing to talk and hate the site and the members on it. After all we all have an interest in the club. We all want the club to be a success. If anything they should be obligated to talk to supporters, after all, without supporters there is no football club.

For them to hate this site, they must therefore monitor it to see what is being said. Keep offering the olive branch Glenn. Supporters want to help them with the club, not to just sit back and watch it go to ruin.

Right, lets boost it to £7million in player purchases, £21million in player sales- if the Trust had pulled a stunt like that, you'd rightly be saying 'where's the money gone?' Simple maths tells me thats a net spend of MINUS 14 million.

And as for wages, they are out of their clubs own income- The Trust were not paying the wages and neither are Venky's

THEY have spent nowt. And i'm staggered that you are still defending them GAV.

 I stand by it GAV.

Great post by Glenn Mullen by the way.

End of the day the mangager shouldn't be in charge. Venky's don't care - if they did they wouldn't have removed the people from the club who had the knowledge and experience to help them.

And there's a reason why they removed these people isn't there?

Because they had the best interests of Blackburn Rovers at heart, rather then turning our once proud club into a big tacky advert / marketing tool for Venkys sodding Chicken.

An Everton supporter said on the radio this evening in the phone in. That he would rather have venkys running Everton than their current owner. Talk about ignorance.

I totally agree GAV. The problem is finding a replacement. I honestly can't see any decent manager wanting to come anywhere near this club. Can you imagine Mark Hughes wanting to work for these people? Sadly, they are totally out of their depth and their naivety may well destroy this club for a generation to come.

Our only hope is that the Rao family admit their shortcomings, appoint some experienced administrators and then go on bended knee to a decent manager and offer him a free hand in rebuilding the playing squad. Unfortunately, I can't see it happening and I suspect we will continue to plod on with Kean until it's too late to change things.

There are enough people on this site who are more than capable of helping venkys make a success of the club. Maybe some of them should contact them to offer their help. Cannot be worse than what we have now.

We have tried and tried and tried and tried and tried and tried but they will not talk to us and allow us to ask the questions that the fans want us to ask.

I will continue to try via Venky's PR and hopefully one day they will see sense and decide to talk to the fans, the longer they don't the more apparent it becomes that they do not care/want to answer concerns that the fans have. It is totally bizarre that they have owned the club for 9 months and still there has not been a press conference where press can ask them questions or even a Q&A with the clubs official television channel.

If that is the case, offer them a last olive branch. If it is taken up great. If not why not try to go around them. Find a reporter in India who would be willing to print our thoughts on venkys.

Who else was interested in buying rovers at the time venkys took over - apart from syed. Was there not English interest for awhile. In otherwords try to find people outside of the club, who we can get on side. Something that will give venky's / Kentario a huge kick up the ar-----.

Where there is a will, there is a way. I still think wednesdays match is the best option. The faster a protest can be started, the better.

I think it has been well documented that the money went straight to the bank.

As for the trust, they did this numerous times. RSC was sold for 16 million and we bought Kalanic for 6. Benni was sold to West Ham and we brought in Benjani for free. I remember when Savage was sold and Vogel was brought in for nothing.

I'm not defending Venkys and I am not criticising the trust because I think there are valid reasons as to why it seems like no money is being spent and if it means that loans/debt is being paid off then so be it.

I can understand why fans are getting nervous and angry but people can analyse and speculate about what is going on at board level all they want but the fact is Venkys can turn this around by backing Kean by bringing in quality players. It is then up to Kean and the players to do the business on the pitch. If we start winning games then all the rumours/speculation as to what is happening at board level and behind the scenes will stop.

This is a massive week for Rovers and I just hope that we can get players in and a couple of decent results.

If we can get it right on the pitch then everything else will fall into place.

An EXTRA debt that THEY took out is being paid off.
