Roberts - Lay off Kean

He must be joking right !

Venky's at our next 2 home games starting on Wednesday night.

I was starting to like Roberts in a way. He's crap on the pitch, but he tries hard, and I thought he was going to be a great pundit after hearing him on radio 5 for that mental Wigan vs. West Ham game. Now however, he is being such a brown nosing fool towards Kean. It is good to show loyalty to the boss and all that, but you're not called Wayland Smithers, and Kean is useless.

Yes Makey, Congratulations, we as supporters needed to do something and you have lead from the front, you have geared us into an action which was needed, and yes, it would be victory for Rovers but all the same, TOP MAN!!

And thanks for your efforts

In agreement with this, well done Makey on taking the lead.

I had sent my email on Sunday, after the Villa debacle and the important things now are:

a) don't let this die down. We have their ears to an extent and it'd be a waste to let it slide away.

B) we need to focus on the importance of a proper replacement. Although anyone is preferable to Kean, someone like Jensen only marginally.

c) don't let results sway you. We may even scrape a win against Everton but it doesn't solve the bigger issue of Kean. Only once he's out will we make progress.

Don't give up guys, we're finally being noticed :tu:

it is 2 wins in the last 17 competitive matches, or 2 wins in the last 16 premier league matches.

6 wins in 25 altogether i believe

Yes, you're right as the 6th victory was in the FA Cup.

I only posted because Maji had it as 2 victoried in 25.

Have also messaged this link into Rao's FB account, actually taken from one of his own ealier posts.

Again very respectfully, and urge every one to be so. We can let people know how we feel without being abusive.

I think to do otherwise is pointless and could be detrimental to our aims, worth thinking about.

To me, I dont believe it when it comes from Roberts! He is just a Venkys propaganda-boy saying these things in order to ensure he plays week in week out.

And these quotes made me laugh:

"It's only two games in. The transfer window is still open. I think there is some way to go yet (1) before we have a talk about the manager, to be honest.

When he came in, we started well. We lost some games during that period, but we did stay up (2) and I think we showed a lot of character doing that."

1)

Really? Some way to go yet?

How many points behind do we need to be before it is time to talk about the manager?

This makes me so angry! If we cant talk about Steve Kean now, then when? In march-april 2012 when it is too late?? F*** no!

2)

We did stay up yeah, but thanks to Kean??? That is so ridiculous!! We were heading in a decent direction when Venkys sacked Big Sam and replaced him with a coach, most of the points we got last season was thanks to Sam, Kean nearly got us from mid table to relegation, it was just luck that we're not in Championship now!

The way Roberts talks in these quotes, he makes it sound like we were fighting for our lives when Sam was sacked and Steve Kean saved us, which is utter BS!!!

Jason, you are as ignorant as your bloody coach!!

ive just sent this off the vineeth.

you will have to bear with me ive sunk a few down the pub

Dear Mr. Rao

I know you have received a large number of e-mails from concerned rovers fans about the current manger of our club. I have been a huge rovers fan for 20 years, spending alot of money on traveling to games, tickets, merchandise etc, and now I am finding it hard to keep any kind of faith in the direction in which our once great club seems to be heading.

The problem is Steve Kean. His appalling record speaks for itself. 2 wins in the last 17 competitive games.

Before Kean was given his position as manager we were on course for a top ten finish in the premier league under Sam Allardyce. I can understand that if you didn't want him to be part of your long term plans then you should part ways, but I feel it was a huge mistake putting an unproven manager in charge. I don't know why you decided on Kean but I personally think that you have been very badly advised. I believe that you are decent, kind people who have the best intentions for the club at heart, but keeping Kean in charge will certainly result in relegation to the Championship and make your huge purchase and massive investment worthless. Kean never saved us from a relegation battle, his poor tactics was the reason we were in one.

If you act now and remove Mr Kean from his position then this season can be a success with top ten achievable.

We keep hearing about big high profile signings (Ronaldinho, Beckham, Raul) but I can promise you, if you give the job to a proven premier league manager then the team will be far more successful than any one high profile player. In my opinion the best managers you could go for are.

1. David Moyes - Everton

2. Mark Hughes - Unattached

3. Martin O'Neil - Unattached

If you were to employ one of these managers and let them advise you and back them in the transfer market then this team will be back competing in european competitions once again. There is already a good base of a team that just need good leadership and a good tactician in charge and they will be a huge success. Not just for the fans but for your investment as-well.

The above list of mangers are proven to be excellent managers and have excellent records to back them up, also even more impressive is their knowledge of the transfer market. They will make the team a big success once again on the budget you agreed to when you purchased the club, £5 million every window and all player sales.

Please I am begging you, take note of all of the letters from the fans. This is more than a football club and a hobby to all of us. No one wants to protest at match days and in front of the media but were are doing this out of concern for our club.

I am confident that Venkys can still be a success of this club and back in India make Rovers the favorite team of the country.

Yours sincerely

Message to Jason - stop crawling to the boss, stick some goals in the net on a regular basis and get your beloved manager off the hook.

Then we'll lay off Kean.

Jim he averages five a season he aint going to do that.

On contacting Kean directly I would advise against it, only Venky's can get rid of him - no chance of him ever walking away due to the pay off.
