Very good article and he actually brought through some emotions with me reading that. Very few journalists are capable of that.

I have to get some thoughts down on paper. Would anyone care to give me the e-mail adresses you have been mailing to?

The worst part is, that if they do sack him, how do we know they wont do the same thing all over again and appoint Jensen?

That would be even worse! (I think!)

So I hope they know its not all about removing Kean by all costs, its about replacing him properly like they should have done when Sam was sacked!

Whilst there are no revelations as such within it, please can we pin the Henry Winter article please??

Worth highlighting and a read by everyone IMO - plus, Winter, is regarded as one of the better journalists around.

Great article and it is time the Venkys act and get us a proper manager. Unfortunately though they have painted themselves into a corner and they will lose face if they about turn on any of their previous decisions.

Indians don't like losing face and I can only see things ending in disaster for us.

I travelled from Sydney for the season opener and do wonder if that is the last time I will see them in the premier league.

Not as well put as you English men are able to , but this was my mail seconds ago to Vineeth.

Dear Vineeth,

I am writing you from my office in Aalesund in Norway because I have been struggling to do my work properly for the last weeks. There is one thing scratching and bothering my brain and it is my love. I am not talking about my wife or my kids, but a small town club in North England with beautiful blue and white shirts, a rose badge and the slogan Arte et Labore.

How I have become so obsessed with a small town club in England I don't know, but I know that every saturday or sunday when its a Rovers match on this is my priority and to much anger and frustration from my wife, kid, mothern in law etc. I jus't can help it - I have to watch the mighty Rovers. Who knows - we might sneak a win?

The problem now is that I don't recognize myself anymore. I am full of disbelief and a totally shattered man every time I have watched a Rovers match. Last match after watching the debacle against Villa - which our clueless manager tried to perceive as positive I locked myself up in the room without speaking to anyone - totally broken heart. What had I witnessed? None of the Rovers seemed motivated or eager to win the game? Every single one of them had them same expression in their face - that they didnt believe they would win the game! No one put in a tackle to win the match or run the extra meter for the ball.

It is time that you remove Steve Kean from his position as manager. He has done enough damage to our club and almost cruised us down to the Championship. We had the worst run of games in somewhat 30 years. HE IS TOTALLY OUT OF HIS DEPTH! I dont want to discuss fotball anymore with my friends , because it is to painful just thinking about the club I am supporting and what it have become.

STEVE KEAN OUT!

As an ending paragraph I would like to say that I believe Venkys can turn this around. I know that they are in this for the publicity and I can tell you one thing. It will give publicity a lot of negative publicity If they dont start to stear this ship in a correct manner. Begin the new adventurous voyage by sacking Kean and replace him with someone who can give the lads the spirit they need. We have a great squad of potentially good young players and the core of Samba (make him stay!) , Robinson, Nelsen, Salgado. They only thing we need now to be climbing and giving Venkys good publicity and a famous name is a proper manager, some nvestment and communaction with the fans.

We are club full of history and we are one of 4 clubs in England to win the Premiership. Steve Kean is ruining this club - get him the drunk driving horrible role model out of my club !!!!

Best Regards,

Norwegian Supporter

This is the letter I have emailed and posted in to Ewood

Dear Mrs Desai,

It has been said by many of the national journalists that there have been many poor short term decisions taken at this football club in the recent past. This is undoubtedly true and one of them was the appointment of Steve Kean as Blackburn Rovers manager. In all his zero years of management there was absolutely no evidence that he had the experience required to manage a club of the stature of Blackburn Rovers FC. Despite this, for nine months most fans have supported him as best we could, as we did not want to exacerbate the problem We were happy to trust your judgement, to allow you to get your feet under the desk, to appoint a management team and to make the right decision on the manager when you were ready. We were hoping that in return Steve just might prove capable of limiting the long-term damage to the club during that time.

Unfortunately it is clear from events so far this season and the second part of last season culminating in the inept display on Saturday that the consequences of keeping Steve Kean in place are now so pressing that immediate and decisive action is required from yourselves. His position at the club is no longer tenable. He appears to have lost the ability to motivate the team, a team of internationals, and he has certainly lost the backing of the Blackburn crowd openly showing their derision at his inept tactics.

The bond between Blackburn fans and their managers is strong, stronger than at any club in the world, and in normal circumstances it would be unthinkable to see the crowd turn on the manager as they are doing. If there was ever any coming back from that for Mr Kean he closed that door himself in his post-match interview when he said the team produced a good performance. Sorry, but those fans will be standing on the Blackburn End supporting this team long after Steve Kean has gone and they were supporting their club in the only way they know how, defending it from a man who is corroding it from the inside.

We wholeheartedly agree with your strategy of concentrating on what is in the best long-term interests of Blackburn Rovers FC, even if it is at the expense of short-term popularity. We now believe however that we have reached a tipping point and that Steve Kean’s continued presence in the dugout is now detrimental to the long-term future of the club as well as our immediate future this league season.

I look forward to hearing your response.

I hope you all realise what damage you lot could do. You're forcing Venkys hand when it may not need to be forced and it certainly isn't the right time for it to be forced. You're the ones bringing your dismay into the limelight and you do not speak for everyone, you're just shouting louder.

Waiting till after the transfer window would've been sensible.

Can't wait to go tomorrow night now...going to be a cracking atmosphere.

I glad that Henry has done the article that he has done, I am hoping that three other big hitter national journos are going to follow with articles.

This is all down to the efforts of the fans over the last few days, the problems are now starting to get recognition on a national level.

The pressure on Venky's is mounting, and that will only increase if fans protest over the next 2 games, however there is one BIG problem. Kean retains the support of senior players, there is a sort of senior players committee (Roberts, Nelsen etc.) which the owners listen to, if senior players turn on Kean then he will be history, if they don't then he may cling onto his job.

Keep this up guys, this is having a effect and is now starting to snowball.

The sensible thing would have been to have done it last season but some people on here wanted the clown to have more time, well he was given more time and things are worse, the balance of the squad is all wrong and its evident he can neither motivate the team nor set the lads up effectively!!

No wonder Samba and Givet want out!!

Any reason you think you are in a minority of one? He can bring in any player he likes, does not change the fact he is not up to the job. He goes, NOW, whilst the season is young.

You really don't like confrontation do you? I applaud everyone who are telling Venkys what they think. They might act now before it's too late! I'm suprised you're going to the game,i thought you would be in Blackpool with your head in the sand?

Can anyone sen an email with the puppet or puppeteer link, and a few more off this site to Adrian Durham at Talksport?

With what is being said now i think it's time that Venky's started to take notice and the fact that we (our players) are showing that we cannot turn up on a Saturday afternoon and give our all for the shirt is very alarming indeed. Whether it's the players don't want to play for the manager, whether it's the manager is well out of his depth the time for change is now and let's hope this is resolved sooner rather than later.

It's the talk of the town and at the present time we are becoming a laughing stock to our rivaks which hurts more than anything. Buck up Venky's and show us why you really wanted us?

How extremely depressing it is reading your post Kamy. Never ever had I though Roberts (terrible, useless Roberts) would be given so much power within the club? Only because he can go on trips to India and suddenly find himself irreplaceable in first XI. He really has lost my respect if he ever had any.

He represents neither Arte nor Labore.

dubdubdub isn't in a minority of one and there's no need to be so ungracious about it.

He's perfectly entitled to his viewpoint Matty,be careful you don't assume that you speak for everyone.

Roberts gives his all for the club on and off the pitch and yes he's not one of the best players we've ever seen but his commitment is second to none and far better than the people who are running our club.

Good squad player and we are left with no choice but to play him as there's no-one else to fill his shoes is there?

I haven't lost respect for Roberts, he genuinely is a very nice man who for whatever reason believes in Kean. Also it is the owners who choose to listen/consult senior players, again not the fault of the players, they just pass on what they feel to owners.

Maybe im biased. Never liked Roberts and I dont agree with people talking about his commitment. For me he is: Free kick away, smiling to the ref. Giving away a new free kick. Arguing with the ref. Terrible touch. Horrible miss. Especially the give away free-kicks in stupid manners is grinding my gears.
