Got a reply from Andy Bayes just now, as did all the other fans who sent him an email regarding his upcoming interview with Kean today:

(Sorry is someone has already posted it on the forum!)

"This is addressed to all of you who have gone to the trouble of emailing me over the last 24 hours.

Firstly many thanks for taking the time. It's clear from reading through all of your emails that you are not happy with the way things are going at the moment.

I will be seeing Steve Kean this afternoon, and will put across to him your concerns about the recent form. I have also requested to speak to someone from Venkys, who I am told will be at the game on Wednesday evening. If I am given the chance to speak to them I will also relay your concerns to them.

On a slightly different note, I am in the process of arranging a supporters forum programme here in our Radio Theatre at BBC Radio Lancashire in September in which the manager will be invited along. If you would be interested in attending, please email me back your details including telephone numbers and I'll make sure that you are kept informed as to a specific date.

Also, we have a supporters panel here who we call from time to time, so if you'd like me to add you to the list of Rovers fans that would like to have a say please don't hesitate to send me an email.

Again thanks for sending your email, I assure you I have read them all.

Take care

Andy "

The sensible thing would have been to have done it last season but some people on here wanted the clown to have more time, well he was given more time and things are worse, the balance of the squad is all wrong and its evident he can neither motivate the team nor set the lads up effectively!!

No wonder Samba and Givet want out!!

You talk like people on here have influence over the situation kelbo, only venkys can influence Keans future, not some people posting on a messageboard.

Ofcoure I didn't send that it was quote from ghostbusters, heres what I sent to talksport.

Good Morning Richard and Andy

I am writing to voice my concern over Steve Kean's management of Blackburn Rovers. I'll presumably agree its too early this season to pass true judgement, but there are a lot of factors that contribute to Steve Kean being arguably the most disliked Manager is Rovers recent history, these are as follows:

• He had no management experience when taking over the job from a very qualified Sam Allardyce, it was unjustified.

• He comes across deluded (as commented in Monday’s papers) talks of Championship League football having just sold your star player for £16.5 million and not re-invested that money and almost being relegated.

• Results, he had Rovers worse run for 25 years and has started this season with two defeats.

• But what gets to me the most is his interviews, having lost 3-1 to Villa, Villa had more shots on target, more possession and better quality, Kean tells the press "we were in their box 36 times so on another day could have got a point". He will never admit reality.

I've never known a manager so deluded and I truly believe that Venkys have been naive enough to think that Kean can achieve Champions League Football by selling players for big fees and purchase unknowns for £2 million each.

Having listened to your interview last season I really didn't think you addressed any facts with Kean. Kean said we had 4 positive results from 7 games, but the reality was 1 win 3 draws and 3 defeats. It’s twisting facts like this that really insults the fans intelligence.

I will be listening and really hope you could give your opinion on this matter. If you view the Rovers forums, you would see fans are close to protesting to get “Kean out”, but this is not born from two defeats, it’s much deeper rooted.

Thank you for your time.

He certianly is yeti.

However, on this board and even more so in the 'real world' of Rovers fans Kean is unpopular to a degree I have never witnessed.

I would love your opinon on THE ISSUE AT HAND yeti, instead of your usual approach of slapping down other posters.

His unpopularity clearly is a major issue.

My view is that, 2 games into the season not much has suddenly changed. We have a threadbare squad with new arrivals apparently on their way and we're seriously hampered by defensive injuries. I'm sticking to what I'd originally decided on which was to give him 10 games or so with a full squad and new signings to finally see if he can cut the mustard. I've not deviated from this, but if people want to have a go anyway then fair enough.

The slapping down point you make is risible.

It seems to me that it's all got a bit Stalinist round here at present and it's the people who want him gone yesterday who are slapping down anyone who has the temerity to not fall in line with this.

A good example being dubdubdub being told to 'grow a pair' because he thinks differently.

That clear enough for you?

wow can't knock you, have to respect your patience.

I did also say I'd give him 10 games, but a few facts have been alarming.

I take it you have not read the blog by Glenn. Nor the article in the media about the way the club is being run. Nor concerns raised by the LT (even though mutedly)

It is not just about the past two matches or even the shambles of last season. But the whole situation with regards things at the club. Me I would have sacked him just on the drink driving charge and conviction. This makes him a bad role model for young footballers / supporters. He is also a liar as was mentioned in his court case. he admitted lying in court.

He is not to be trusted.

Fully aware of what's out in the media. Already knew everything in that Henry Winter article.

Haven't read Glen's blog...can't stand the things. Unless it's something new RE Venkys selling the kitchen sinks to pay for chicken feed or something equally detrimental...i'm sure it's nothing new either.

Agreed the drink driving charge is bad. As someone with power and national coverage he should be a role model.

Which he replied with telling someone to 'get a brain'.

Do you not feel that after 10 games we could be in an almost terminal position, his record so far plus upcoming fixtures does not argur well for a marked improvement.

I think the point some fans are worried about is the timing of this campaign. One week before the close of the transfer window. These issues have been apparent to those in the know for most of the summer. 2 games in and suddenly a decision has been made to form a Kean hate mop. Surely this could have waited to the close of the window.

Yeah I replied with 'get a brain'...after I was told to 'grow a pair'.

My point still stands that this could seriously affect any outgoing and incoming transfers.

I think some are missing the point.

This is not about Kean over the next two games. Even if we win those, he's still not the right man. His record since taking over, IMO, just stinks.

Rovers just need to stop dithering and bite the feckin bullet.

I will be there tomorrow night cheering every goal we score but protesting against Kean at every opportunity during the match.

Another ten games under Kean and we could be out of sight and I mean from the second bottom team of the PL, his record so far is 5 wins from what 25 games and people want to give him another ten. Kean should have know what he needed way before the season ended, so for me there are no excuses for the team he put out against Wolves, this is another indication of his lack of managerial acumen, for me he has to go, but he is silver tongued and may well talk his way out of this situation. :(:(

Of course it's possible that after 10 games we could be in a worse position.

However,it's also possible we could be on the up.

The reason I'm preapared to wait a little longer is to make a decision on his performance when he's working with a team which he himself as put together hence waiting for the last of the new arrivals and the injured players to return.

At this point there are no excuses..he either gets the team playing and winning or he quite rightly goes.

Making a decision on those first two games seems a little presumptious as not even the most vociferous Kean opponents can argue that the teams he put out were what he wanted to start with. Nzonzi as centre half being a case in point.

I agree. Since the whole sorry episode of us being taken over by this shower. Installing Kean as manager and making such claims of what they were going to do. BRFC has become a laughing stock.

Speaking for myself, I'm happy to hear alternative views. I think people on here should be able to post their own unadulterated opinions without worrying about what other people may say. Otherwise we run the risk of suffering from "group-think".

Having said that, Kean is well out of his depth, governance is still a major problem at the club. And until we solve both these problems and someone with some power at the club gets to grips with what is really going on and starts taking some action (starting with booting out Kean) then we are all at sea with the quartermaster trying to sail the ship through a storm.

I don't care who replaces Kean so long as it is a manager with experience. The situation is so bad that potting Kean and getting a real manager in can only have a massive positive effect. We need owners who organise the club and fund it, and leave the manager to manage. Instead we have owners in it for the kudos of being associated with the premier league, who try to make marquee signings, presumably over the manager's head.

We must have a proper manager, and he must be given money to spend and must be allowed to get on with it. It's simple, so Venky's PLEASE GET A GRIP on this before we end up in dire trouble.

Please excuse me as I'm on hols out of the country.

Has SK said in the press or via any Rovers media that he is sorry for bringing our club name down due to his conviction?

Certainly not - question not really needed, akin to asking if The Pope is Catholic !!!

Some wish for Kean gone immediately to avoid further damage and to give us an immediate chance of improving things before too many games and points are gifted away.

Some feel that waiting until after the window, allowing new players to arrive and hopefully preventing others leaving is more sensible.

Some wish to give the guy a number of games (10 has ben mentioned) as they feel this is now his team and squad and for some reason he deserves the chance to see if his methods are working.

Most are correct in that the timing is very bad, only two games in. But that is what happens when stupidity is allowed to foster and an unholy mess is made of things.

I wanted Kean gone purely for footballing reasons. Those who feel the same, have now been supplemented by many more who have either changed opinion or seen the final straw, due to the lies and deceipt shown in court, the lack of progress within the squad and / or performances this season.

I did not agree with his appointment at all and feel we can do much better. I would prefer it if he left as soon as possible as this will immediately unite the fans. I have no confidence in his ability to obtain decent results and do not wish for more points to be pished away at a critical time of the season.
