By this path i presume you are talking transfer spending/re-investment etc...have you been checking cryers twitter thread today. i.e x3 players + kean going out to talk to mystery striker. Does this sound like owners not prepared to put money in? o.k admittedly it is worrying that we seem capable of only buying bit MIDFIELDERS/wingers LOL but i'm actually encuraged by the look of this george johns guy he looks like he plays with alot of passion. Who knows where this window will end. in truth you know as little as i do about this....don't think for one second that i am not worried about the clubs future/managers experience (lack of) but i don't beleive in airing our dirty underwear to the world via the media and telling future targets/even future managers that blackburn under venky's is a club to not be a part of. They are adament at the moment that kean stays so until we have attracted as much talent to our club in this window then the noises from the fans should suggest we are a club that players want to be PART OF NOT RUN FROM SCREAMINHG...

providing there is enough of us im 90% sure hel be gone thursday

if not with more support on saturday hel be gone then.

but like i said itl olny work if there is enough of us!!!!!

Thats some claim Makey :D

Don't mean squat until the player puts pen to paper though.

The idea that Rovers' fans should be pathetically grateful that Venky's are using part of the transfer receipts to actually buy new players ... well, it's laughable.

Who mentioned Rovers fans being grateful? I certainly didn't?

The point was, to have a balanced debate, you must point out that the money could have been pocketed, but it was reinvested in some small part.

If you change 'the owners are putting money in' to 'they are letting us spend some of the money from player sales', I'll get off your back.

Your constant goading and stupid remarks are going to encourage the appropriate response if you keep it up.

I've noticed you've changed your tune slightly on the manager so would you like me to do a "cut and paste job" on your previous remarks ? As long as you keep on posting rubbish I and others will continue to point it out. We all have different points of view but some of your remarks regarding the owners and the manager defy commonsense. And don't worry about your fat drinking mate - he derided Sam as a "fat slug" and supported Ince so his football knowledge is on a par with yours.

So we have the owners in town for the next 2 home games......OOOOOOh things could get interesting!! No better way to let them know what fans think of Kean.

Well its up to us now boys 'n' girls, are we going to sit on our hands and sing Barmy Army or are we going to get our point across loud and clear to our friends from Pune as to what we think of Coco?

As for Jason 'the goal machine' Roberts..who the hell are you tell the paying fans what they should be doing?.Concentrate on trying to score more than five goals this season if you can you nugget! :angry2:

You've lost all credibility Doris.

As for the cut and paste job, start after the Everton game last season, that was when I wanted Kean sacked.

Fat mate? You wouldn’t say that to Bob Flemmings face

Don't burn me for this but....

I actually like the business model of the new owners.

Bring in young raw talent to develop and compliment the back-bone of experienced quality we have.

Sprinkle in a little stardust (i.e. Raul)

Develop the talent / sell for profit / re-invest.

Over time the squad gets stronger and stronger.

Invest a little of your own monies (perhaps £5m per window).

And in exchange get world-wide publicity for your business thereby achieving a significant increase in profits and net worth.

Exiting and refreshing in my opinion.

Pity they are making such a mess of it!

What's say we all meet up at the Uncle Jack statute at 6:45 with banners to set the tone? (And no chavs climbing!)

This is the type of action thats required Randy, its going to be hard to remove the manager from behind a keyboard I'd imagine ;)

I agree, just have doubts about the managers ability to get us through this season.

You've lost all credibility.

You're taking all the canings for your stance towards the owners and the manager so it's your credibility at stake here. Carry on though - it's certainly entertaining.

Thought you weren't "feeding" me any more?

Yes, the money that they've spent could've been pocketed but it was spent on players. But we both know where the rest of the money went.

It's some reparation for the mayhem they've caused over the last ten months, admittedly. It's arguable that it doesn't matter in any case in view of their continued support of Kean. The manager's a lame duck, so it doesn't so much matter who the players are. Do you think our squad is stronger than last season?

If you're so concerned with balance, try viewing things in the round.

How about showing some respect for Jack and keeping the protests out of the way of the statue ? I dont for one minute believe you are condoning the actions of the Chavs from last year, but your well intentioned protests there could easily attract the chav element as hangers on.

I'd suggest doing this outside the players / staff entrance.

I said I liked the model...not the execution of it.

They continue to amaze me with their stupidity...and I'm in the Rovers Fan camp!

For someone who went out of his way to slag off John Williams, under aliases such as Doris, then claim upon his departure he’s the best thing since sliced bread, you’ve more front than Blackpool prom.

HA deal its all the same thing isn't it lol ..there's too much i still don't understand i.e loan repayments using jones fees etc... all i do know is there has been a large loss of players from our books and only 3 in so far plus more promised. time will tell how it all balances out. i'm happy for venky's to balance their books however they feel fit and loose deadwood from the squad if there are suitable incomings as well. 1 week and then we will know one way or the other. I won't be happy if they balance their books by selling samba and not re-investing though or if we buy another 3 midfielders LOL. Just trying to get an open debate going really i think its counter productive to be channeling fustration into the media/public domain at this period in time. next week really is make or break though our squad needs defenders and strikers and to keep samba. Kean needs to be allowed to attempt to do his job this week no one else is going to coem in and do it this window!

Good idea in principle but it requires a good manager at the club over a long period for it to work, and Rovers managers for one reason or another tend not to stay at the club very long. The trouble is in the short term we are in deep trouble with a weak, unbalanced squad and a dead-man-walking manager. And £5m won't buy stardust..

I've explained why I changed my mind a few times. Ask your fat mate.
