Thought you weren't "feeding" me any more?

Yes, the money that they've spent could've been pocketed but it was spent on players. But we both know where the rest of the money went.

It's some reparation for the mayhem they've caused over the last ten months, admittedly. It's arguable that it doesn't matter in any case in view of their continued support of Kean. The manager's a lame duck, so it doesn't so much matter who the players are. Do you think our squad is stronger than last season?

If you're so concerned with balance, try viewing things in the round.

The points been made bryan, that they have reinvested some of the money and not pocketed it.

Are we stronger than last season? time will tell.

Good idea in principle but it requires a good manager at the club over a long period for it to work, and Rovers managers for one reason or another tend not to stay at the club very long. The trouble is in the short term we are in deep trouble with a weak, unbalanced squad and a dead-man-walking manager. And £5m won't buy stardust..

I did add it was a pity they are making such a mess of it!

For it to work Big Sam had to go.. but we needed SK like a hole in the head.

He has to go soon!

Why?

re-visit my original post.

The playing squad increase in quality over time by re-investing sale income and further capital introductions from the owners, and

I liked Big Sam. But his brand of football was only accepted as a necessary evil. Not going to win any friends and more importantly corporate revenue. Add to that he was never going to develop good young footballers ... look at juniors's progress since he's gone.

Sam brought on Olsson, who was strggling after the Ince regime, he put Jones in the side at 17. Hoilett is one player that he should have done better with, fair enough.

'corporate revenue'? Our ST sales and corporate sales have collapsed, we no longer have a sponsor.

These things come from a winning/succesful side, what company says 'yes, I like BRFCs pass and move outlook, lets get invovled with them'.

There is no 'capital introductions from the owners'.

what debate?

spot on, there is no debate, he should be axed NOW, no debate, no add on quips like some people would not be satisfied if we signed 20 world class players, if we signed the entire 1st team of Barcelone and Manu I for one would not be satisfied as Kean could not hack it,

so no debate KEAN OUT NOW

Far too much haste in your response.

Please re-visit my original post regarding the new owners business model (and how they are messing it up!)

If you still can't join the dots, that fine, it's just my opinion.

I'm not trying to convert any-one, just posting an opinion

Gawd, here we go again. Rovers doesn't exist as a club to "win friends", only win football matches - which Sam showed he wasn't bad at. To remind you, we were one win off 6th place when he was sacked last year. Don't have the stats to hand but Hoilett played plenty of games under Sam and was being gently introduced to the first team - in all honestly he wasn't ready to play regularly last season. And which manager threw Phil Jones in at the deep end and brought on the developing Olsson ? Sam gives youth its head if it's good enough Meanwhiile back to Kean........

How about showing some respect for Jack and keeping the protests out of the way of the statue ? I dont for one minute believe you are condoning the actions of the Chavs from last year, but your well intentioned protests there could easily attract the chav element as hangers on.

I'd suggest doing this outside the players / staff entrance.

I doubt Jack would find it disrespectful for well-intentioned fans to rally around his statue. Chavs will be chavs, and anyone disrespecting/ causing trouble would be told where to go by real fans - as happened last year.

I've just sent an e-mail to Sky Sports News and the LET containing the open letters to the Raos posted on here.

Hopefully they will sit up and take notice.

What is it with some folk.

I liked Big Sam he did a good job...but he doesn't fit the business model, that's all I was saying ffs.

If the owners hadn't made such a mess of the new appointment/had re-invested the player sales income/ and not destroyed the infastructure of the club..we wouldn't be in this mess.

With 11 midfielders and only three Centre backs of note (assuming Samba stays) and no real striker to get us 15 goals a season,

we have no balance to the squad at all!!

Two of the purchase/signings Anderson and Ribeiro have a track record which suggest they wont help the cause and now we are linked with a reserve player for Villareal!!

He's a clever bugger though really, buy a load of young players and its odds on one may come off, so we would get more drivel of the deluded clown.

I want Rovers to succed and do well, at the moment though we are without leadership, direction or experience from our supposed manager!!

Are these all the only known addresses that we should be targeting or are there more? I'm also now planning on posting a few copies of my letter to a few different people within the club and will now email Ms Talbot a copy as I have had communication with her in the past.

Lets have our voices heard for once, COYB! :rover:

You cant say this! you must hate or love, you must discuss for months, you must take every thread off topic, you must not be allowed to have common sense and a big one is you must defend your point of view until your on at least your fourth account.

'tis a debate, he believes Sam 'doesn't fit the business model', I wasn't aware they had one.

I hate the way this thread has gone.

I hate the stalinism of some involved..when alternative opinions are greeted with derision and comments like'grow a pair'.

I hate the way it's become personalised by nasty insults..'fat','baldy','scotch','liar','clown'..playground bully stuff at its worst.

I hate the way previously stable contributors like Kamy and Glen seem to have developed a blood-lust.

I hate the preening of people copying the e-mails they've sent to Venky's like they've just passed some kind of initiation ceremony.

I hate that this is happening now.. should have been close season if at all. I don't get this 2 games in.

I hate the bile and vitriol and the sense that some are actually enjoying this.

Give me as many -'s as you like but I'm entitled to say what I'm feeling and if I don't say anything because of fear of retribution that just makes me the worst kind of spineless fool,so fill your boots.

I will ensure all future posts fit with one or another polarised view point..else I may be mistaken for an outsider.

KEAN OUT! VENKY'S OUT! (but I did like their intended business model...still a shame they are messing it up).
