I hate the way this thread has gone.

I hate the stalinism of some involved..when alternative opinions are greeted with derision and comments like'grow a pair'.

I hate the way it's become personalised by nasty insults..'fat','baldy','scotch','liar','clown'..playground bully stuff at its worst.

I hate the way previously stable contributors like Kamy and Glen seem to have developed a blood-lust.

I hate the preening of people copying the e-mails they've sent to Venky's like they've just passed some kind of initiation ceremony.

I hate that this is happening now.. should have been close season if at all. I don't get this 2 games in.

I hate the bile and vitriol and the sense that some are actually enjoying this.

Give me as many -'s as you like but I'm entitled to say what I'm feeling and if I don't say anything because of fear of retribution that just makes me the worst kind of spineless fool,so fill your boots.

BOO.

HOO.

While I can't speak for others I feel that a lot of what has been posted on here is as a result of sheer frustration that has been bubbling for the last 6-9 months. I know personally that I have had enough of the garbage being spouted by the owners and their apparent puppet, (his latest post match comments was the last straw personally).

There will be no "perfect time" to get rid of Kean from now until next May, but the longer the current problem is allowed to fester then the worse it will be for the club as it is becoming clearer with every passing game that Kean is clueless and if the Villa game is anything to go by then only a fraction of the current team are actually behind him.

Finally the main reason behind my own email was the feeling of helplessness that has engulfed over the past week at not being able to attend the next few games and the belief that I have to at least try and do something.

Each to there own though yeti :tu: I only wants best for the club I love.

spot on, there is no debate, he should be axed NOW, no debate, no add on quips like some people would not be satisfied if we signed 20 world class players, if we signed the entire 1st team of Barcelone and Manu I for one would not be satisfied as Kean could not hack it,

so no debate KEAN OUT NOW

Good argument...###### to the man no matter what he does. Good old impartiality.

I will ensure all future posts fit with one or another polarised view point..else I may be mistaken for an outsider.

KEAN OUT! VENKY'S OUT! (but I did like their intended business model...still a shame they are messing it up).

Did anyone see Granada reports tonight, it had the brothers on talking from Pune saying again trust us we will buy players, Blackburn Rovers is our baby and we want to grow something like that, so far so good you might think, THEN I threw up my tea, they said we trust Kean 100% and he has our 100% backing then que kean grinning like a Cheshire cat at his news conference, I only hope the telephone interview with the brothers was old stuff rehashed otherwise looks like we are stuck with kean.

I did have an enormous sense of impending doom when Big Sam was sacked.

Like most I didn't want him until we were desperate, then I cheered his appointment.

But his sacking reminded me of Peter Reid at Man City...not happy at finishing fourth.

Successive relegations followed.

And Alan Curbishley at Charlton. The fans were not happy with PL mid-table. The rest is history.

But the business model put forward by Venky's filled me with hope.

But that sense of impending doom is back again.

Kean, over the period of his tenure, has proved himself to be incapable of achieving the required results.

He must be relieved of his duties and replaced by a proven experienced manager.

I'd have his old boss (and a not too shabby centre half) as manager.

Serious question, when have Venky's EVER put their model forward?

It has been Beckham and Ronaldinho, then it was the 'biggest budget BRFC has seen', 'Champions League in 3 years', now they seem to be spending SOME of the money brough in on sales.

I didn't make up the business model...I just listened.

Now they deviate from the model and I say they are messing it up.

You don't actually see it, but we agree

I will hopefully get as close to the clown as I can and give himverbals for one, and with a banner!!

Does that meet with your requirements?

It gives me hope kelbo that you and your mates are not just talking a good game, but are actually going to do something about it.

We'll be watching, lets hope it doesn't turn out to be 'wee and wind'

Never done that in my life mate, I very rarely say what I am going to do but you insisted, when I played football and some clever bugger gave me a kicking, I walked away and smiled, best way, they never know just if or when you are going to do them!!

Tell you what, it works!!

We all know who talks a good game Gav, saw him on T/V tonight!!

Frtom what I have seen of them, Petrovic and the lad from Sporting, do look decent players, my worry is, CB and striker and I dont feel a reserve from Villareal is the right shout, there again, until I have seen him, I may be wrong.

My letter.

Dear Venky's,

I've followed the Rovers since 1970 when my grandfather first took me to a reserve game at Ewood. He told me about the excitement in the town when we last won the FA Cup in 1928. My great grandfather took my mother to the Rovers in the 50s and 60s and had followed the club as a boy. So my family has followed the club since the dawn of the 20th century.

I live away from Blackburn now, but the club is close to my heart. As a teenager I trained at Ewood during the week and proudly wore the blue and white halves when I represented Blackburn schoolboys. I walked on the turf at Ewood, like many other young lads taking penalties at half time.

Now and again I supply fans' reports on Rovers' games.

Right now I feel as low as I've done in connection with the club. The old certainties and reputation attached seem to have disappeared into thin air. On the pitch since our current manager took the job we have as bad as I can remember.

I understand that we are in a period of transition, but action must be taken now before we see our club further belittled and you lose your considerable investment.

Please sort out the club both on and off the pitch.

Regards,

Paul M

No worries, if you want to thank me personally I'll be at the Match tomorrow. ;)

So will I, but I think I'll settle for a thankyou on the Internet...and I don't mean anything dodgy by that! :P

Just wondered, why will you be watching, I thought you wanted rid of Kean?

Well, I am backing this thread Makey, banners at the ready, two games this season?

What about the ones last season, the guys a deluded hypocrite aand a liar.

We knew, when he was buggering about in Pune with Roberts and Nelsen that we had lost Phil Jones, he knew he had problems with Givet and he also knew of the possibility of Samba leaving, now he shopuld have told the deluded Rao family, I need to get back to the UK and sort this out and quickly or we could be in a mess, all this two games doesnt wash with me, you prepare for a season, not make it up as you go along.

Kean nods his head and says yes to everything our owners say, instead of thinking forwards, he is thinking backwards and thats why he is no good to Rovers as a manager, Banners out and lets let the media know what we are doing!

Kelbo - not defending Kean in any way - but is quite obvious that he was made promises that the Venky's just didn't follow up on. To be fair to Kean - any manager would struggle given the pre-season transfer turmoil that has surrounded the club - combined with the loss of our four first choice centre halves to injury or transfer.

Going forward - I just hope the Venky's have learnt from their sacking of Sam - and have a replacement lined up if they do decide to sack him. Personally I would give him another couple of matches. Lose tomorrow and Saturday - it could be curtains - and given his overall record he couldn't really complain.

This is not a defence of Kean - I've been one of the more patient fans on here but I'm now leaning towards the opinion that he needs to go.

I don't carry the apparent personal hatred for him that many here seem to, it's more simplistic -

I don't understand his selections (dropping the goalscorer from the prior match on numerous occasions), tactics, or substitutions (he seems to be unable to even react to events (never mind preempt them),he simply waits till the 75th minute regardless of what is happening on the pitch).

But do we really have any faith in the owners to appoint a real manager if Kean goes?

Would protesting this week ruin any potential signings they may be looking to pull out of the hat? The likelihood is that they won't anyway, but protesting and potentially having no manager in the last few days of the window would certainly ensure we are stuck with the current squad
