[Archived] KEAN OUT!

Recommended Posts

I don't quite understand why you post stuff like this. Do you want praise? I feel like you're sat there saying 'I told you so'. Do you just want to wind people up?

Thenodrog is saying that.

Lots of fans said the same thing about the way Venky's and Steve Kean were going about their work. They said it would put the club in great danger of relegation. They were right as well - weren't they? Those same fans have been ridiculed as doomongers etc, so of course they will say I told you so.

No point in beating around the bush.

Vukcevic, George John and possibly Ibisevic could all be in the stands tonight - is it wise to protest and possibly lose the 3 of them??

The players are coming in irrelevant of who's manager!!! The manager has had nothing to do with signings!!! He probably won't even meet them till they've signed!!!

Is it going to get nasty tonight ?

Hope you behave like human beings. The important thing is to get the message out there, but there are different ways to do it.

Don't do, nor believe in, violence. I do have a loud voice and access to a photocopier.

Down with Son of Chicken, boycott chicken!

dont listen to that turd! he's got his own agenda. he's an absolute disgrace!

kean isnt killing team spirit. trust me.

FROM WHAT I HEAR...

if anything the team spirit is too good. players certainly aren't if fear of the consequences.. win or lose.

lack of discipline and true leadership!

that's the issue!

So Kean hasnt already spoken to Vukcevic even though he's been here once? Or Ibisevic who a fee has been agreed for?

Or on a flight yesterday to meet another?

Sorry but cant see many players wanting to sign for a team where the fans seem against the players and like its all kicking off. Also not many players would come into a new team if there wasnt a manager around.

Were not against the players though? Were against the manager! It's ok though well leave it for another 10 weeks where there is no chance of recovery. The sooner he is out the better! And on the transfer front... As me and glen9mullan have both said... The transfers WILL happen whether he's manager or not. Now you look through my past posts about transfers and I haven't been wrong about what's going on once.... So why would I be about this?

Kean “I’ve got the support of the owners 100 per cent. I’ve spent lots of hours over with them over the last six months and any time I’ve asked for a player they have backed me 100 per cent.

"I've felt nothing but 100 per cent support.”

The Sun have just sensationalised a small comment. Taken in context it sounds like he's talking about a spirit that made us hard to beat, not that everyone has fallen out with each other.

You can't argue with a lot of the rest of what he says, and to be honest he doesn't sound that bitter in the article.

"Who is going to come in and make the difference? I don't see it.

"I don't want to see them relegated. But I know it's going to be hard. I was one of the biggest players at the club. Then it all changed under the new manager.

"If the players he had were better than me, OK I understand that. But right now that is not the case."

His commitment to Blackburn Rovers left with Allardyce, if it wasn't for the Venkys/Kean situation we'd all be slagging this guy off, he doesn't turn up for pre-season, he doesn't now turn up for training, he's a disgrace to the profession.

I hope we’re not paying the rat :angry2:

Ever heard the phrase "Don't air your dirty washing in public" well if you want the whole world to be aware that Blackburn is a club in crisis and players should leave or not join the club then by all means protest in public and tell the world. If however you actually want the club to move forward in this transfer window it might be more astute to cheer the team and by team i mean manager as well and show potential new signings and the world that we are a small club in lancashire with big ambitions and a sense of pride not a bunch of moaners. Just a thought but i don't think anything is to be achieved by not showing a united front. IF Kean is not up to the job and it is still an if after only two games this season. Transfers/signings are still to be made to replace the deadwood that has long been at the club and sapped funds. In a few weeks it will be revealed if Kean is not up to the job true enough. Kean towards the end of last season had the team playing together well and o.k fighting for survival but for once in a long while i felet positve about his direction of play in fact i'd rather see the style of football he aims for anyday that the durge that sam instilled. we weren't respected for the way we played under sam we were hard to beat but it reminded me of the boring boring arsenal chants of old. Anyway all i'm saying is think long and hard before todays game at the message you want the world to see about our club in the lead up to the next week and the transfer window. Think for yourselves over this one don't just listen to a vocal few. This is MY Opinion i'm sure others will have different views and i'm sure others will share some of my sentiments and thoughts too. what i am sure though is that everyone of you will get behind the players and want our team to succeed today and have a good cup run.

Vineeth Rao is doing contract negotiations? Lord help us :o

You mean Hunt... dont you?

Makey11 said the person that everyone was emailing yesterday so I guess it could be Vineeth, Paul Hunt, Andy Bayes, Andy Gray, Richard Keys or Andy Cryer !

My guess is Vineeth but yea, it could be Paul Hunt. Definitely not Andy Bayes.

Seems our celebrity fans are getting onto the anti kean bandwagon. Matt Smith (Doctor Who), is in todays shortlist magazine saying they sacked a brilliant manager, and replaced him with someone with no experience. A little later says "At the moment, I want to scream. Because it matters to me. Football Matters"

Nobody wants the team to fail but we have been burying our heads in the sand for long enough with the idea if we get behind them they will improve. People go on about 2 games in but in reality in Steve Kean's tenure as manager it's around 28 games and we Have a very very poor record under him and we look a shambles. We tried getting behind the team last year because we had a chance of staying up but I honestly see us doing a Derby if this man stays in charge any longer. We have a problem and like all problems we as fans need to tackle it head on as the club can still be rescued from this mess because even in a months time it could be too late.

If it is your opinion don't enforce it as fact. The results speak for themselves and this coupled with the attitude of the players both this season and last is making the club look like a joke anyway. Why would anyone want to join a club that the media have down as relegation candidates and have been convincingly beaten over 90 minutes in their opening two games?

I want the world to get the message that we as fans are not happy with the situation our club is currently in. Kean has had plenty of time to convince us he is up to the job, so far he has done very little to change opinions.

As a closing point, we all want the team to have a good cup run but with our squad as thin as it is can we really expect to be competitive on both fronts?

I actually cannot believe the attitude of some of the people on here.... Im going to stay away from here for a

While i think. Give it a month and i'l be back on. Let's see if you all think the same then.

Why? Is it because people don't agree with what you are saying? I thought this is what a messageboard is all about, people giving their opinions, whether right or wrong; or whether you agree with them or not!
