Hi Guys the impact of all the fans are doing is hitting the panic buttons with the owners,

Vineeth Rao's Facebook page also appears to have been taken down too

Keep those letters going

It's still there, type in his email address into search function at the top of your facebook homepage.

Seriously. I am just a regular employee working for Societe Generale in Norway. In my job I have a lot of contact with existing and potential clients. Because of this I have changer coded my surname so that people wont find me that easy. I Think its important to separate business and private life. I agree with your opinions BPF.

I agree it is rather poor form by Vinny but would temper that by saying that this guy is the nephew who was being groomed for a spot on the board (prior to Kentaro fallout) so he is probably nowhere near astute/aware enough to manage his profile across all media.

Astute?

Lacking in plain bloody common sense, more like it.

Its an odd photo, but not as serious as you seem to be taking it BPF.

In normal terms JAL, yes.

I've worked in numerous positions in his industry though and you can't be too careful. I know plenty of organisations that would be issuing a warning for that. I've worked for places that check employees Facebook profiles regularly. It's over the top but it does happen these days. We are a family club and tourist photo or not, he should be professional enough not to have that on there. It isn't even the photo itself that bothers me, it is the unprofessionalism of the whole situation that really panics me.

I have tried typing email address in ect, he is also on my friends list unless he has blocked me, which if he has will highlight even more the impact

He must have blocked you as he is still there, although a blow for your prospects of a flourishing personal relationship with Vinny (!) clear signs that an impact is being made?

Email sent to Mr Rao.

I don't normally do this and have disagreed with a number of posters on here BUT Glen's blog coupled with the messages I have read on here have inspired me to 'do something', lets get this impostor out of our football club.

Lets cut the Indian some slack here BPF, he wouldnt really know how sensitive this picture could be to some could he.

Surely a word in his ear will soon see him take the picture down. Maybe this is just one small example that goes to highlight the steep learning curve that these Indians are on right now.

The sad thing is that as popular and as wonderful as this board is, we represent a very small amount of the fans whom actually go to the ground. In order to reach 'the masses' we really need to try and get something on Sky / Talksport / LET. Continuing to E-mail Venkys is a good plan, but perhaps we need to add further pressure on them from something 'bigger' than the fans.

I fully agree with this - let's get the attention of the media. A few pages back I posted the e-mail I sent to Sky Sports News.

The address is [email protected]

Just think - if everyone that has e-mailed Vinny Rao sends a brief message to the Sky Sports News desk, there's a very good chance they'll at least mention the growing unrest.
