Kean or someone else?

  1. 1. Simple really, who do fans want as Manager, should we sack Kean and get someone new?

    • Stick with Kean till 8-10 games in
    • Mark Hughes
    • Martin O'Neill
    • David Moyes
    • Rafa Benitez
    • Ancelotti
    • Bob Bradley
    • Tugay/ Shearer/ Hendry/ Flitcroft/ Grayson or some combination
    • Alan Curbishley
    • Ranieri
    • Dave Jones

frank rijkaard ,

micheal laudrup ,

van basten

bilic (never will he leave croatia)

i would really love johan cruyff

and ofcourse the usual suspects

Should we need to hire a new manager, Venkys only option is to consult their football advisers/agents (Zahavi keeps getting mentioned), and perhaps Simon Hunt for guidance (whoever he is).

No one else currently employed by the club would have a clue how to go about it and we have no experience in that area.

How about Bernd Schuster might kill us if he decides to go all out attack but hell would be more entertaining than the feeble unborganised passing game we are playing at the moment.

Would like Hughes even on a 1 season large contract to save our butts.. but the likes of Cubish, O'Neil, Laudrup, Van Basten and Schuster have to be more realistic as they might just be interested.

I can't see Hughes or any other major name taking the job if Venkys are going to continue to use agents and a sporting director to dictate transfer policy. The bottom line is that Kean is only part of the problem. The way in which the owners are running the club is a major part of the problem. They would need to change their approach and allow the manager to actually manage rather than having committees dictating affairs. It's too simplistic to think if Kean goes all will be well. If the owners had a better grasp of things the present manager would and should have been replaced in the summer, giving the new man time to work with the squad in pre-season

Hopefully the agents have now gone in terms of making decisions.

They got the last appointment wrong as the people making the decisions had an inside interest in him.....I pray next time we can get it right.

I thought there was an agent involved on the deadline day signings? Seem to recall reading that Mrs D. had brought a different agent in to deal with. If it's left to the brothers to make the appointment heaven help us!

It would have been better if the poll could have been multiple choice as I would have liked to have picked more than one.

There's a difference of who I think we could potentially get from that list and who I'd like from that list but it's unlikely.
