Please no.....injury prone, trouble maker, likes a big drink if rumours are true.....Soon to be 33 and on big wages.

Stay clear for me.

We need another 30+, injury prone midfielder on massive wages like a hole in the head!

Christ what a mistake this would be, all based on doughnuts experience working with him donkeys years ago when he could cut it

Hear hear!

Football Rumours

Ipswich's hopes of landing Jimmy Bullard on a permanent basis have been boosted as it looks like Hull are talking with Bullard today to settle his contract. In other words this means that Hull are going to buy Bullard out of his 45-k-per week contract.

Don't be too sure about that Bullard the Wretch had a disciplinary at the club on Tuesday. Hopefully the snake will be sacked, then sued in the same way as Chelsea sued Adrian Mutu. The guy's a leach He's done nothing but cause trouble. Hopefully he'll be finished.

Allegedly, Sorry,I realised this unsubstantiated rumour may be against forum rules!

This is from a guy who regularly say's "It's not about the money, I just want to play football".

and then this from the Ipswich Fans Forum

Blackburn boss Steve Kean has confirmed his club’s interest in Town target Jimmy Bullard. The former Fulham assistant manager worked with Bullard when they were together at Craven Cottage.

Kean said: "I've probably been linked with Jimmy because I met him on Sunday when he was out with his boy and I had a chat with him and he was telling me about his troubles, and he could be available.

"I had Bully when I was with Chris Coleman at Fulham and he is a colourful character. But I don't know how his fitness is, whether he has done a full pre-season. But he is a quality player when he is on his game.

"It depends if we need somebody in that position, and if we have done our business and filled those slots, then it might not happen, but if we haven't, then you never know."

Exactly Wiggy, guy has no passion for the game these days it seems and has gone off the rails.

Also the fact he apparently nutted Pearson, then again some people would see that as a reason to sign him.

To be fair to Kean (on this occasion) I think what he said distanced himself from the situation and explained why the link had been made, without causing any offence to Bullard, who he clearly knows. I certainly didn't read into it that we would be signing him. Thankfully.

That's how I see it. He has the potential to be a desperation signing if all goes wrong, but to be honest I think that because the story was made public he's now just helping out an old friend in generating some interest in him. As much as many will criticise him for bothering to do that, all other football managers would do the same with people they like. Most human beings would too.

Bullard as well as hargreaves are players I would not mind on pay as you play deals, both have pl experience and if fit would be quality additions, what would be the issue?

Sick note aint he Imy?. Still, he'd be company for Vince!

I very much doubt this has any legs and people need to read this article very carefully. Kean is quite clearly stating to even consider we would have to miss out on other midfield targets suggesting Bullard is way down the list & not very likely. We have also bought Petrovic & Vucevic so what would be the point of adding a 33 year old injury prone MF to the ranks. Also it quite clearly states he does not know what his fitness is suggesting if there is any problems he would not go through with it. But totally agree with others if we need to it should clearly be PAYP deal would show whether he genuinely wants to be here or just looking for a final pay day.

I know but even with that record he managed 16 games and 5 goals for Ipswich last year and on a pay as you play deal he would be worth the risk as would Hargreaves IMO.
