Pretty impressive considering all that happened in a 3 month spell earlier in the year.

With Emerton going we desperately need players who understand the PL immediately. I'd be happy to take a punt on him.

WHY would we go for Bullard when Hargreaves is available.

I doubt either of them would actually take a PAYP offer good enough for them to be good value though.

I know but even with that record he managed 16 games and 5 goals for Ipswich last year and on a pay as you play deal he would be worth the risk as would Hargreaves IMO.

Can't disagree with that. But it's immaterial now, Gone to Ipswich. I'd still consider Hargreaves on those terms though.
