moerpho Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Can't you just feel it? We will continue to push on but with no end product - i.e. goals - tire towards the end and let Everton score an easy goal (probably down our right side). Frustration and desperation will spread like wildfire throughout the team and with as good as no manager and no leader on the pitch we'll lose one or two with red cards. Kean will say after the game that we played well, look at the positives, expect to bring in 11 new players by tomorrow morning and we will witness the return of Jesus....in a Rovers shirt....eating chicken....served by Jerome Anderson... *sigh*
Pinch Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 I guess SK will wait until we're inside the last 10 minutes to take Roberts off = garbage minutes for his replacement to make a difference.
BRFC1995 Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Last straw gone as far as roberts concerned used to defend him in the past as he occupied defenders at least more than benni and santa could do......now though his lack of ability is just so obvious.

Andy Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 We won't get an easier home game for some time now. Failure to win today = simply not good enough. Roberts should be nowhere near a Premier League squad, he's horrendous.
Pinch Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Great save Robbo! Did he get fingertips to that? Fellaini should've scored
Rover Down Under Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Toilet brush very nearly scored then. You can just see Everton nicking one the longer we don't score. Get Goodwillie on for Roberts FFS!
philipl Posted August 27, 2011 Author Posted August 27, 2011 Good job Everton cannot shoot straight- three chances in three minutes. I was referring to the save from from Baines
RibbleValleyRover Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Goodwillie on for the goal machine. Everton on top since Cahill came on.
Pinch Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Goodwillie's on for roberts...18 mins to salvage something.
BRFC1995 Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 better late than never.........roberts off to talk garbage on the radio, big himself up
Poita Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Toilet brush very nearly scored then. You can just see Everton nicking one the longer we don't score. Get Goodwillie on for Roberts FFS! Let's hope he had his Juice plus+ in the morning
bigbrandjohn Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Please bring Goodie on for Roberts. Please Steve, if you care about this team at all. Your wish is granted
imy9 Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Feel an Everton goal is coming if we dont take advantage of our superior possession.
Backroom DE. Posted August 27, 2011 Backroom Posted August 27, 2011 Calm down boys, J-Rob still has 30+ games to get his 5 goals for the season. Keep the faith.
Rover Down Under Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Goodwillie on for 30 seconds an hits the crossbar after beautiful work from Formica.
moerpho Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Good save by Robbo, but this is getting ridiculous (sp?)....all Everton has to do to create chances is to play it down our right side. Salgado simply isn't capable of 90 min and it's creating havoc in our defence. Goodwillie on for Roberts....finally! Probably to late though and I agree with previous posts saying we won't meet a softer defence this season. One positive from watching on telly: Formica (2nd half) as he at least try to chase down balls and create something.
BRFC1995 Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 unlucky....right place right time though bodes well
Pinch Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Goodwillie - so close. If Formica meant to lay that off to him, that was genius.
Dan Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 If you don't take your changes you will get punished. We need to take our chances.
novella Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Oh my god we look quality but we are never going to score!
