Sour grapes Tom he gave us two magnificent opportunities to score a goal to their one.

Only losers blame the referee ..........dont be a loser !

That's why I said not taking into account the penalties as I just thought he was shocking.

We missed two against Bolton a few years ago - Roberts and McCarthy.

Thankyou.. And didnt Jason Brown save one for us in that match?

Poorest Everton team I can recall

Robinson 0 no saves to make

Selgado - (minus) poor crossing, poor defending

Ollson + got forward defended his corner well

Samba + pen apart, commanding

Givet + solid

Pederson - hopeless

Dunn 0 great touches, legs gone

Emerton - awful passing, awful in possession

Hoilet + threatened continually, final ball disappointing

Nzonzi 0 average

Roberts - awful by his standards, a new Roberts low.

Subs

Formica + lightweight, positive, full of energy

Petrovic - awful, not ready yet for English game. Long way to go.

Goodwille + excellent. Sharp, thinking, looking to score tho ran into traffic

Rovers 6 easy chances, Everton 2. Lack of confidence and lack of goals scoters hand Everton unlikey victory.

I will start with the fact that I would love Kean out and a proper manager come in... BUT... the players are there. It's just the players being chosen that's all wrong. The team for the next game has to be...

Robinson

Bruno Samba Givet Olsson

NZonzi Petrovic

Vukcevic Formica Hoilett

Goodwillie

I think we should no longer talk about best starting 11 until jason gets some injury

I actually thought Hoilett looked like he had gone backwards today too much head down stuff instead of releasing it.

Formica and goodwillie have to start from now on.

I can't be to upset with todays score in the end. We deserved all three points, and as someone stupidly said we would not player an easier team at home this season - That could not be more false. Moyes has so much experience, and we made his team look below par.

I think you will find most of the pundits commented on how bad Everton were actually, but it's good of you to patronisingly call such a statement stupid. Andy Cryer said it's the worst team he's seen come to Ewood in 3 years, but again what would he know?

Watched the game. Then went for a run to cool down. Now with a clear head I'll give my view of the match.

The lineup was obviously based on experience and keeping it solid, leaving it up to Junior to create something, which he did when Dunn got a good chance that hit the inside of the post. A sign for what was coming for the rest of the match. The first half not much happened as Samba and Givet was in full control with Everton having one chance where Osman got a free header. The turning point came after 30 minutes or so when both Pedersen and Dunn went off injured.

In came Formica and Petrovic. Petrovic wasn't very visible throughout the match, but I noticed he gave the midfield a lot better balance together with Nzonzi through his positioning and tidiness. Formica on the other hand was very visible and impressed me no end except for the penalty miss. The way he seeks space, the way he sets up people with his first touch, the way he can go past people and decision making was just pure class. The performance today was a mixture of Tugay and Jansen, and I don't know if I've seen someone like that it in a Rovers shirt in my 20+ years as a fan.

2 missed penalties, 2 shots in the post and an amazing save by Howard. This coupled with a ridiculous penalty given to Everton who looks like they will struggle worse than us. Pretty much sums up the match.

I can sympathise with the people hitting out at Kean after such a frustrating defeat (and all the other stuff), but today it wasn't his fault. If we were to change manager though, please let it be someone who can continue the attacking performance shown in the second half today. Probably the best half of football since the Dunn/Duff/Jansen days. It made me feel alive and care unlike the boring, numbing percentage football under Allardyce where a defeat just made me numb and thinking we deserved it.

I know some gonna hate me for saying this, but the second half lineup showed a promising future and hope for a turnaround. Replace Roberts and with Emerton going you got a young vibrant side with experience in the keeper and defence. You also have to wonder about Everton's chances this year. That was pretty much their first eleven except for Saha and Rodwell. They have no money to improve the squad either and they probably spent all their luck for the season today.

Your deflecting how bad Rovers were in front of goal by mentioning the referee.

Just how wide do Steve Keans men need the goals to be to get it in.

He's a ###### Journalist for christ sake, am I supposed to be in awe of his opinion? Andy Cryer needs a sodding cushion for the amount of sitting on the fence he does.

And no, I'm not worried. Mainly because how does that help? Take your season ticket and ask for your money back if you think we are going down. Save me the hassle of wading through constant negative sh1t. 3 games into the season is not enough time to suggest what position we will finish in... Like I said "yet!"

Maybe Junior and Formica missed their penalties so that they actually get to start the next game instead of being dropped for scoring

Joking aside, anyone fancy ringing up Jase on 606? Ask him if he genuinely cares about this club and if he does... tell him to stay the hell away from our starting XI!!!

Glad to hear Formica had a good game though, besides the missed pen, although sounds as though he didn't get what he probably deserved today. I still can't understand why he has been on the bench after the Wolves game, he has looked promising in just about every game.

Roberts is on 606.

He still believes in Kean. The guy who called in, was spot on. Said Kean's record is relegation form and he wouldn't be on his back if he was appointed in the summer.

Now what venkys need to understand is we did our best to get behind Kean last season, we can't do the same again. Its terrible for your health. My Mrs has gone out cause she knows how upset I am. I hope fans protest by boycotting the games.

I've supported rovers for over 20 years and I've always given managers a chance, my patience has run out now. The Sunderland fan on now wants rid of Bruce. I would love him in charge.

Did we play badly today?...NO

Are we taking our chances and scoring goals.....NO

Matters are pretty clear cut to me now,if we continue with Jason 'the goal machine' Roberts up front our season will end in utter catastrophe. If we do not address the lack of quality up front within the next week matters will only get a lot worse....AND WE ALL F'KIN WELL KNOW IT!

Some bad confrontations in the BBE today with the fans....we cant go on like this.

question for all of you defending Kean. Did you think, after 30 minutes, with Kean's starting XI on and before two injuries forced him to make changes, that we were the better side?

It's a good question, we were the far better side AFTER the subs. The first boring 30 minutes were pretty with Dunn's chance the biggest and Osman's weak header.

What annoys me are people claiming we need to win ugly. The starting lineup was setup to with a view to be solid and "ugly". I think the second half proved that you can be solid defensively and good going forward at the same time. If you are the better team you will win more than you lose over time. Allardyce's winning ugly but mostly losing ugly philosophy seems to have brainwashed some people belifs.

All I said was that most people seem to be in vehement disagreement with you as to the quality of the opposition. Not going to address the rest of your points because you don't seem like the type inclined to rational debate.

And pundits....

Do you know what a Pundit is? it's generally someone who you recognise associated to Football. Their opinions should mean nothing to you, because if they had any amount of nouse, they would be working in the game. Look at Thompson, never talks about anything other than "the liverpool of the 80s"... Merson can hardly speak, Matt le Tissier talks about as much sense as Steve Kean... Not ###### much!

And people like Shearer and Hanson... DO they even have an opinion? Don't ever use a pundits opinion to proove your point with me ever again, because it's bordeline insulting. Do you think I really give a ###### that Alan McScally think's we're going down? I USE MY EYES AND BRAIN TO DECIDE THAT!

Judging by the fact we hit the post three times, I'm going to go with about six inches wider.

That said, Kean has to go. While his signings have actually been very good, his management of the squad, tactics, lineups, honesty in interviews and personal integrity are all highly questionable.

Shocking, can`t believe we were robbed, but then yet again, we through it away - absolutely gutted.

Proved one thign to me, when we brought Formica(who was brill) and Goodwillie on, we played way much better and created the chances. Jason Roberts is awful, always will him to do well, but ###### in a bed he is bad, have lost all patience and can`t belive we are starting with him spearheading the team. MGP was a disgrace to the Blues today

These so called experience players were abysmal, - Samba and Givet were fantastic - but for me, that team selection has tipped me over the edge now an di have lost complete patience with Kean now.

KEAN out now - before this gets any worse and we can`t dig ourselves out of this grave he is slowly burying this premiership football team in.

Venkys - ACT NOW and sort it the fu6k out please !
