LeChuck Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Still doesn't mean it's not true! They ARE in some trouble and this should be a bolt-on 3 points for us. Where's the problem? Because we're also in trouble, probably worse than they are. They can't afford to buy players but at least they held on to their star players that made them finish 7th last year. And they have an excellent manager.

Backroom Tom Posted August 27, 2011 Backroom Posted August 27, 2011 Still doesn't mean it's not true! They ARE in some trouble and this should be a bolt-on 3 points for us. Where's the problem? They are a better team than us witha better manager to boot. Nothing nailed on about it. Other than that Cahill will score if he plays
patrickvalery Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Dont know the teams so havent got a clue how this game will go, which makes it a little bit more exciting for me. The only thing i'd say is that N'Zonzi simply HAS TO, man mark Tim Cahill, on every corner, free kick, set piece, or any other deliver/cross that might come into the box. Come on Rovers! I agree that someone has to take care of him JAL. Maybe i'm in the minority, but i just don't trust N'Zonzi to do it. He seems to switch off at crucial moments and his heading ability for a big bloke is shocking. But, i don't really have any alternatives to suggest. Maybe we'd be better served trying to stop the service from out wide.
pick32 Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Everton have a better 11 than us but they have alot of older players in there starting 11 and have no money to replace them when they retire. They also are going to really struggle to get an investor with the stadium falling apart.
Balwer Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Di Santo on a hat trick. And Wigan fans still want Roberts back?

Plastic Head Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 This game could go one of two ways. A defeat or a heavy defeat.
modes98 Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Other than that Cahill will score if he plays If you want I can bet on him to score and then there is no chance he will
AHoyle90 Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 According to @ReportingRover on Twitter Brett is captain today. Very happy about that, thoroughly deserved and let's get a win for his last game!
Backroom Tom Posted August 27, 2011 Backroom Posted August 27, 2011 Di Santo on a hat trick. And Wigan fans still want Roberts back? He may be on a hattrick but I'm not sure id want Di Santo ahead of Roberts. Good for emerton today
pick32 Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 If Emerton is in the team hopefully it's at the expense of Salgado.
MarkBRFC71 Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Hopefully no Roberts, Pedersen or Dunn today either. More confident of winning if those 3 are benched.
alexanders Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Great gesture from the club to a lOyalvplayer
sentient Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 They are a better team than us witha better manager to boot. Nothing nailed on about it. Other than that Cahill will score if he plays so you don't think we should be expecting to beat everton at home? sad sign of the times.
budha Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Everton team to face Blackburn: Howard, Neville, Distin, Jagielka, Baines, Heitinga, Arteta, Fellaini, Osman, Barkley, Anichebe.Subs: Mucha, Beckford, Cahill, Vellios, Hibbert, Baxter, Bilyaletdinov No Saha.
danielwhite813 Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Uninspiring team. No goodwillie, formica or rochina. Roberts upfron on his own
niggit Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Rochina, Formica and Goodwillie all on the bench
budha Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Blackburn XI: Robinson, Salgado, Olsson, Samba, Givet, Emerton, Dunn, Pedersen, N'Zonzi, Hoillet, Roberts BRFC: Bunn, Rochina, Formica, Goodwillie, Petrovic, Hanley, Lowe.
Backroom DE. Posted August 27, 2011 Backroom Posted August 27, 2011 And that team selection is why some of us fear the worst for this game.
sentient Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 According to @ReportingRover on Twitter Brett is captain today. Very happy about that, thoroughly deserved and let's get a win for his last game! another gimmick from the circus ringmasters. we need points and letting brett go spells C-O-S-T-C-U-T-T-I-N-G. captaincy is another sop for the gullible.
Backroom Tom Posted August 27, 2011 Backroom Posted August 27, 2011 I expected at least one of them would start. So uninspiring!
Balwer Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Is that a 4-5-1 at home to Everton after a 4-4-2 away to Villa? Very uninspiring selection. Simon not even on the bench.
patrickvalery Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Blackburn XI: Robinson, Salgado, Olsson, Samba, Givet, Emerton, Dunn, Pedersen, N'Zonzi, Hoillet, Roberts BRFC: Bunn, Rochina, Formica, Goodwillie, Petrovic, Hanley, Lowe. Dogshite
