Sparky Marky
Samba is significant, but he's playing for a draw and this just won't do. Everton are there to be taken and we'll end up losing. Salgado playing again...!!!?!?!?!

RibbleValleyRover
Uninspiring but probably the best we have in terms of PL experience. Problem is that Kean doesn't know our best XI nor do any of us. Samba could make the difference today. I think most fans would have a better idea what our best eleven should be, I think the majority would agree that Pedersen, Dunny and Roberts shouldn't be anywhere near the starting eleven. Something Kean clearly hasn't grasped. cant believe formicas been dropped to the bench again, he was the one shining light in the game against wolves, yet the manager(manager?) has treat him like crap ever since. steve kean out!!!!!! He has previous form for this, see Kalanic. Kean seems to favour rotation, he will be as bad as Rafa soon.
Plastic Head
Blackburn XI: Robinson, Salgado, Olsson, Samba, Givet, Emerton, Dunn, Pedersen, N'Zonzi, Hoillet, Roberts BRFC: Bunn, Rochina, Formica, Goodwillie, Petrovic, Hanley, Lowe. Goalscorers dropped again. WHAT A @#/?
alexanders
Team selection cheered by those who only opt for PL experience. A very uninspiring and totally wrong team selection for others. Im in the latter. I wonder how many times players such as Gamst who is a passenger will get the nod. Also Roberts is a passenger and has WAY too much faith from the manager. Gamst on the other hand did score against Villa and many would think he should start by that reason. I think Kean should blend in formica, rochina and goodwillie a little bit more. Not only oldies who arent even goldies anymore!
Stuart
Benching scorers every game can't be good for players form or morale. Roberts and Kean must be best mates. Dear oh dear. Here we go again!

modes98
Wow. I have no faith in us at all now. The only real saving grace is that their team isn't any better. 1-
RibbleValleyRover
Roberts was doing his cheerleader stint on Soccer Saturday this morning, Kean probably has rewarded him for his efforts.
alexanders
Goalscorers dropped again. WHAT A @#/? Gamst's there. Wednesday is a weak team and shouldnt be considered too much. Hope that Robert tire the defence and we can put Rochina and Goodwillie on and they can have the same link up as they had against wednesday. Think Dunn will sub for Petrovic around the 70 mark. Even though Vukcevic was ready he isnt even on the bench. Dissapointing.

imy9
Goalscorers dropped again. WHAT A @#/? Goal scorer from last well MGP, plays. The season lasts 38 games I filly expect to see our new signings in the starting line up by game 10. This week has been all about the lack of pl experience in this squad, there is plenty in that line up-maybe Kean is being sensible by starting with players who know each others games really well? SergioPeter89
Lose today and surely its bye bye Kean!! Kean can lose 38 games this season and still not get the sack as long as Jerome Anderson is advising the owners...

Silencio
Another clueless selection from Kean, what more can anyone say about him? Is Roberts (the turd that won't flush) going to be on 606 again tonight?
BRFC1995
pretty much a team that sam could have picked all kean signings on the bench........great the way he's changed our brand of football, guys a tool why is there not a betting market for player responsible for 1st everton goal, i'd have the house on salgado just fortunate the pacy bilyrtindinov is'nt playing against him. Need Hoillet to have an absolute blinder if we are to get anything from this.
BPF
Three games in and Roberts is still playing as first choice striker.... The time to judge Venkys is 1st September.............. It will be interesting to see how important these first nine points were at the end of the season....
philipl
WARNING THICKO ALERT Andy Sokill reports: "Blackburn boss Steve Kean feels his side have been unlucky in suffering defeats to Wolves and Aston Villa, insisting "I don't think there was anything dramatically apparent where we were miles off the pace. neophox
All you who like Big Sam and his tactics should be happy today...Hope them prove me wrong. A second half sub with Rochina, Petro and Goodwillie coming on and turn the game to a 2-1 win! and remind kean who should play!
Robbo
Dunn in centre midfield. Why? Pick someone who can sprint and time his tackles. Is it so hard?
patrickvalery
I'll forgive anybody their mistakes if they attempt to change and improve. But to plough on with the same failings is unforgivable. It is imperative to pick up points here. A losing streak early on will destroy confidence and make it even harder for the new lads to integrate. I'm so angry at that line up. Have we really stood this still and motionless since last season's great escape?
chilly
I can understand not filling the team with young inexperienced players who havent gel'd yet...but not even adding one of them??? Even at the expense of no goals roberts?? Sounds like a manager out of ideas reverting back to a team that 'used' to win games in the hope they'll win this one..he might aswell say right lads do what sam wuda told u to do. imy9
A strong back 4 with Samba starting alongside Givet. Nzonzi holding midfielder, Dunn, MGP and Emerton alongside- Dunn IMO has been one of our better players in the last two games. Junior playing a free role behind Roberts. Everton are a strong physical side, that side should stand up to them and with a number of changes in the second half, I expect to see our first points on the board today! Come on Rovers

G Somerset Rover
WARNING THICKO ALERT Andy Sokill reports: "Blackburn boss Steve Kean feels his side have been unlucky in suffering defeats to Wolves and Aston Villa, insisting "I don't think there was anything dramatically apparent where we were miles off the pace. The stats will tell you both were very close games." All of my mates have been ribbing me about the "we got into Villa's box X amount of times". Kean really is such a tool, and with team selections like this, he really doesn't make it easy on himself. We're 3 games in with Roberts as our mainline striker and no new signings playing. What the hell was the point of the official site making a big song and dance of 'Simon' being available for today?!
