Glenn

We're now had our worst start since the 1950s, but an improved performance and some bad luck. So how do people feel?

Anyone remember when hundreds of fans steamed out of the BBE terrace and into the Nuttall St Enclosure to call for Bobby Saxton's head back in the 80's.....poor Bobby looked like he was shyting himself at the sight!

also remember ,getting to reading late and being escorted around the ground past bobby and we were 2-0 down ,i called him a w~~~~~~~~# and got thrown out lol. i saw 30 seconds of the game lol.(think they put 5 past us)

Its strange Andy, from what I witnessed in the BBE,folk were more interested in picking an argument with their fellow supporters than directing their angst against the manager!

it is true, towards the end of the game, anybody in the blackburn end who shouted anything at Kean was shot down by others with their "how is it Kean's fault we missed 2 penalty's"

The time to stop bickering amongst ourselves is now. So please, all those who can go to games unfurl banners, sing songs and protest outside the ground. And if that fails, then perhaps some sort boycott may be the next step. What the Rao family, the agents and Kean have done to this once proud club is an effing disgrace, and they must feel our burning fury with the full force of an atomic bomb. All the culprits must be made so uncomfortable, that they have no option but to leave.

Now is a good time to get rid and a new man would have some time to spend time with the players and knock them into shape. We should take the chance and sack him. Every time he opens his mouth he embarrasses us further and with his drink driving conviction, and the lies he told, we have a reason to remove him. I have never heard the amount of derision he was getting yesterday and surely he can't carry on like this.

Yesterday proved that not only he he hopeless he is also unlucky..... not a good combination for a manager.

I just hope that Venkys are bothered enough to do something before it's too late and instead of looking for marquee players get a proper manager in.

darn, if i knew people were singing that, i would love to have joined in, does anyone notice that suppports very rarely sing kean's name? and if they do its only a handfull of supporters.

There was quite a few songs with his name in them in the Darwen End. None of them very complimentary.

As manager, Kean is required to serve as the spokesperson of the club before and after matches. The position of spokesperson implies some degree of credibility if the objective is to have one's words believed. Kean does not have it (evidence = allegedly: 1) lying to the police; 2) lying to the judge; and/or, 3) misleading fans and the public with ridiculous pronouncements explaining his poor results, budget, etc.). When hearing him speak, I alternate between rage and laughter. Ergo, his service results in a loss of reputation to the Rovers, harming the club as a result.

As manager, Kean is involved in contract negotiations. For businesses of some permanence, who will be in the market for the duration, the best negotiators are those whom are trusted. At this point, anyone who would trust Kean is a fool. As a result, Kean's lack of credibility harms the Rovers.

So for those arguing that Kean's credibility issues do not impact his service of manager, either stop trolling or wake the [please don't say that word] up.

All of the above is presented in addition to footballing reasons. As manager, Kean is a terrible or unlucky or both. Look at his career stats, if you want evidence.

The fact that Venkys are apparently unable or unwilling to process the above, speaks poorly of them.

All of the above is in my opinion, of course.

Keane should never have been given the job in the first place but Venkys wanted a yes man. No quality player is going to want to come to Ewood unless noone else wants them with Keane at the helm. We are going nowhere apart from the championship unless we get rid and start again. But who would want to come?

Burnley/other fans and wind-up merchants will make up the majority of the 49, but there must be one or two real Rovers fans voting 'keep'.

Please, explain how you think Kean has performed so well over the last 9 months, taking us to our worst run in over 60 years (will be EVER after the Fulham game), that you feel he must stay on...?

i think their anwers will be 'because its the ref's fault', 'kean has been unlucky with injuries', 'we nearly won all three games', 'we had the ball 60 times in their area', 'if the grass had been a bit wetter, we would have won', 'jason roberts will come good and score 20 goals this season and kean will be proved right'.

I've voted for more time because I'm not a knee jerk reaction kind of guy.

"our worst run blah blah!"

Yeh I know that.

Reasons to be positive:

Wolves game, I guarantee most of you who saw the game thought we played quite well and the reason we lost was because we only had half a centre half playing.

Villa game, yeh we were poo.

Shef Wednesday game, it might have only been a cup match but to see what kind of football we could be playing in the future was an eye opener and a pleasant surprise.

Everton game, we walked all over them, not once did we look in danger. Two bad penalties later and we're still battling and creating chances.

A bad refereeing decision lost us a point and bad luck cost us all 3.

That's my reasons to be optimistic.

P.s. I also see our bad form as a Venkys mistake.

Sacking Sam when they did was wrong, it effected the team and our form suffered.

Then we changed the way we played; which in my opinion was too rapid. Which also effected our form.

Now the way we play has developed and the players are showing signs of progress, that is the reason I have wrote what I have wrote above.

It's 49 now as i write this!! Unbelievable!! Come on you 49, lets hear you?? Why?????

There you go Delia.

Ps. Andy, you never replied as to why you voted it down?
