We're now had our worst start since the 1950s, but an improved performance and some bad luck. So how do people feel?

Arsenal played "positive" football against United too, and got destroyed 8-2. I'm sure they were comforted by the fact they were playing "positive" football, despite Rosicky smashing Cleverly's face with his hand and Arshavin's horrendous tackle on Jones (I don't think Wenger was up in arms about that). Spurs played "positive" football and they were ripped apart 5-1 by Man City.

It means nothing if you don't get the result. I watched the West Ham game on the weekend as well, and Forest were the better team but they were still demolished 4-1 by Sam's West Ham with 3 set piece goals and one off a defender's arse. Their fans cheered on in unison with "whoooooooooaaaa"s every time one of their players hoofed it up field in the latter stages of the game. Stark contrast to the resounding boos by our fans when we were 3-0 up against Wolves.

The fans saying "give Kean time" are the biggest hypocrites you could possibly imagine because they were completely unwilling to do the same for the previous manager and created a toxic atmosphere for the team to work in. Now I see those same people calling for fans to stay positive and attacking them for wanting to stage protests or booing, despite the horrendous set of results we've experienced under Kean so far and his clear incompetence as a Premier League manager.

We have the players right now that could realistically challenge for the top 10, especially this season where all the teams seem a lot weaker than before. We need to take this opportunity with both hands, but Kean isn't the one to do that. He's shown time and time again he's incapable of setting up the team as required or make the right decisions. The few positive results that he's had have in the main come against significantly weaker teams or teams in crisis. Even then, what manager in the Premier League HASN'T obtained at least a couple positive results against stronger teams? He's the worst manager in the Premier League - fact. If Sam wasn't good enough for us, then Kean is DEFINITELY not good enough for us. Stop papering over that fact just because we now "pass in triangles".

The fans will stay divided as long as Kean remains manager, so get him the hell away from our team. Bring back some dignity to this club and revitalise team spirit. We need this badly now, or else I fear we are destined to fall.

Did you see the game? 90mins?

Because if you did, you'd realise.

We flew out the traps and for half an hour bossed a 3rd division reserve team, we were poor in the second half- game was won so unferstandble that the foot was let off the pedal a bit, but a sparkling performance? Was it hell

Oh and Miker, excellent post, 'triangles' against Sheff Wed indeed!

If we'd have put the penalties away; then there wouldn't be this thread and I'm guessing most people would be lookin at the result as a turning point.

Oh for crying out loud, there have been threads about getting Kean out since last season.

It is not a knee-jerk reaction after the Everton game. If we had won I would still want him out as one swallow doesn't make a summer.

On the subject of birds...you're living in cloud cuckoo land. Kean is a muppet, if that is not being too unkind to Jim Henson's creations.

Out of interest what do people think "us" the fans can do to show our disgust?

I'd say something like a walk out after 15 minutes until HT at the next home game......it will get tv coverage and would

Require answers from the top......is it too long to wait though?

What do others think? I can't just stand by and watch our club be destroyed by scum!

That happens anyway. It is often reported during live games, about fans leaving the riverside before the match ends. It would be seen as a normal event.

Former Rover Henning Berg is having a hard time as manager for Lillestrøm SK.

Yesterday they lost 0-3 at home against one of the worst teams in the league.

A lot of fans gathered outside the player entrance demanding answers from HB. Most people reckoned Henning Berg would wait until all the angry fans had dissapeared, but he walked out in his suite drawing figures, pointing and explaining for the fans why everything went shait.

After the session the anger was turned into applause for Henning.

I don't think the fans are divided about Kean the vast majority want the rat to go but they certainly were under Alladyce , you make some very good points .He is without doubt the worst manager in the Premier league .

I am not sure we have the players to make the top ten , we have no strikers , who can score goals ...

To be fair, I was under the assumption that we were going to sign George John and either Ibisevic or El Hamdaoui, but I've read on the transfer thread that it might not be happening, in which case we're probably not strong enough. If we did though, I think we have a good enough squad to compete for a 10th spot. I like the look of Formica, Rochina and Goodwillie. Haven't really noticed Petroic too much yet, and Vukcevic is yet to play. All in all, I think we've kept our defensive base under Allardyce, which is extremely important and have some flair players in the squad now who should be able to both score and create goals.

If Kean tried that he'd be lynched!

Without doubt Kean's time is up. He is totally out of his depth.

But sacking him would not be the end of our problems, as it would be down to the chicken farmers to appoint his replacement.

Would any fan on here trust them to get that right? I wouldn't.

If the stuff found in the Jerome Anderson thread hits the national press soon I think Kean's tenure is untenable. Not only would he find it difficult to enter Ewood Park, I can't see how he could find it feasible to keep up his flat in the Ribble Valley let alone go out for a pint in Whalley, with its sizeable contingent of Rovers fans.

Whatever the Numpties from Pune, the Spiv or this back stabbing weasel think, it seems to me the party's over for him, if there's any truth in these allegations. ( Which I believe there is.)

I was thinking more of a sniper rifle Alexanders!

But I do agree. Curbishley would steady the ship and get some sort of structure back to the club. However, if the Pune pillocks are not giving the manager much or any say in transfers then I can't see anyone with integrity and ability wanting the job.

In short, it seems we are stuffed with Venky's in charge, let alone Kean.

I hear what you and many others are saying too. However IMO it has recently become plain for all to see (except the most blinkered) that the REAL power behind the throne at Ewood is not Kean or the Venkys either; It is quite obvious that Anderson is running the whole show. He is making ALL the big decisions, and is in effect the missing Managing Director; which also explains why JW was forced out and never replaced. Think about it.......it ALL fits.

What we really need is a thread fot Anderson Out

Its starting to look like his time is up, look at the fixtures it could be OCT 15 before we get a point, i would give him the Fulham game if there is not a dramatic improvement. you don't get points for being in the opponents box.

but main problem is why is he playing with as many of last season team as possible?, does he not have confidence in his new players? :angry2:

Fife you really think that Venkys and Kean could make a success of it if only Anderson wasn't around? Irrelevant anyway, they are all 3 joined at the hip.
