[Archived] Steve Kean

Glenn

We're now had our worst start since the 1950s, but an improved performance and some bad luck. So how do people feel?

Let's say Kean is unsackable.

What about hiring a sports director(if we don't already have one?) who could get a more hands on approach and working closely with Kean on squad selection and tactics?

If Kean is unsackable then perhaps it is time to start protesting in any which way because he will take us down, whether we have a sports director or not.

Get rid and take his fairy godfather Jerome Anderson with him.

That 7-1 defeat at Old Trafford was always put up on here as the reason why Venkys lost patience with Sam and he had to go. The Anderson thread shows that was not the case.

In any case Sunday's result against Arsenal puts it into perspective doesn't it?

Probably it makes our stuuuuupid owners think that we are better than Arsenal...

Good job Steve Kean! Champion League<3

No not really we were at full strength whereas Arsenal are down to the bare bones. Also even though Arse got whooped they made some attempts to play football and score.

And got beat 8 (EIGHT) 2! It was obviously the wrong approach.

That Arsenal team was still better than ours.

Still, always room for an Allardyce dig, still think it was the right decision slough?

Full strength? Goulon?

Probably one of the worst performances of any player to grace the blue and white shirt.

Fife you really think that Venkys and Kean could make a success of it if only Anderson wasn't around? Irrelevant anyway, they are all 3 joined at the hip.

Eh? Where in my post did I even hint at keeping Kean.....Obviously he has to go too as he and Anderson are an item. But the Venkys are our owners whether you or I or anyone else likes it or not. The point is that Anderson is quite obviously manipulating virtually everything that matters at BRFC and is in all but name the missing Managing Director.

But what really worries me is that if this is true then the Club is in breach of the EPL rules and there could well be VERY severe consequences for the club. Get rid of Anderson NOW.

I think you've implied i t(obviously unintentionally) when you write 'what we really need is an Anderson-out thread" (your italics). It seems like if only he went away the rest could have a go at it.

That's how it reads to me anyway so just a misunderstanding.

I'm sure you're not, but when it comes to Allardyce, I'm afraid the cap fits.

Not necessarily. If we had bought in a decent manager and we were not lying down when playing the top four the decision to get rid of him would have been a master stroke. Unfortunately the owners mae a huge error in appointing Kean. I guess thats one thing we can agree on.

You knew he was sub lol!

Another thing peeing me off his the counting of times in an opponents box like it's a nailed on stat! Pull the other one lier it plays I believe!

He's going to soon be counting how many kicks we had in a game compared to the other team. He seems to be very confused about the scoring system in football.

a guy on twitter is saying that Mark Hughes might be coming back to rovers and that is why the John and Ibisevic deals were pull yesterday.

https://twitter.com/#!/Bigdog3939/

I don't know whether this is true but I thought I would post this.

Interesting, but I will believe it when I see it. Mark Hughes back would be a dream come true, it could only be bettered by history repeating itself and King Kenny returning.
