Glenn

We're now had our worst start since the 1950s, but an improved performance and some bad luck. So how do people feel?

Interesting, but I will believe it when I see it. Mark Hughes back would be a dream come true, it could only be bettered by history repeating itself and King Kenny returning.

Its far too sensible for Venkys. Can anyone imagine them doing something so right?

a guy on twitter is saying that Mark Hughes might be coming back to rovers and that is why the John and Ibisevic deals were pull yesterday.

https://twitter.com/#!/Bigdog3939/

I don't know whether this is true but I thought I would post this.

Seen it myself. Twitter playing games on my PC, but works fine on the phone.

Strong rumour about Hughes (on Twitter), who has a list of players he wants, Jones and clint Dempsey being two of them. Plug pulled on two transfers after the everton match. Kean on gardening leave, may go on the 31st. All this on twitter. How true - is another story. Timming is the issue, although reliability of what is posted on twitter, is the biggest issue.

Does this Mark Hughes rumour derive from one twitter source only? or is this rumour coming from various twitter sources?

It's coming from one fellow who says he has a contact at Venkys. He is only assuming it's Mark Hughes, as he's been told it's a young Welsh manager coming in who wants to sign Dempsey before the deadline.

Sounds too good to be true, most probably is.

Hate to say it, but it could even be Chris Coleman

I wish these Mark Hughes rumours would go away. It gets the fans' (not mine) expectations up unnecessarily. He's not coming here and never will be. I'd love someone to quote this in their sig and be happily proven wrong but it won't happen.

worse case, I actually think Kean might stay on if we go down, he has a lot of power.

Kean is cheap wages, lies to the fans/press and does what Venkys want.

Samba will probably lerave giving Venkys another 14 million, so 26 million profit for the summer.

If we get relegated, Holliet 7 million, Robinson 7 million, Olsson 5 million, Nzonzi 5 million, Gooodwillie 3 million totaling 27 million, plus a few other so maybe 30 million overal, they sell the club for a cut price 1o million

26 million made this window, 30 million next window, 10 million club sale in november 2012 plus debts 15 million remaining

bought for 46million and two years later approx 40 million profit for Venkys

Great business for them.

I agree completely, does anyone know how reliable this source is? No one else on these boards has posted anything about this, and some people on here do seem to be very well connected with very good sources. Where as this all seems to stem from a random twitter post

On loan at Betis so I guess that means buying Roque? Can't see how that would make anyone happy.

Same old rumours...

Well Lansbury was an un-used sub! Weren't we excited at the possibility of signing him?

Maybe you watched another match but Lansbury played on my TV set.

he was present on my TV too!!!

Thats a relief, last thing I want to do is buy a new telly. Lansbury played yesterday - didn't do much, but was on the pitch.

he is managing a greek team now so can't be him!!!

Does he want a coach to join him - not to Ewood, but away from Ewood. We have a very positive Kean one available at Rovers.
