Glenn

We're now had our worst start since the 1950s, but an improved performance and some bad luck. So how do people feel?

If Venkys persist with Kean, there's only one outcome at the end of the season and I'm sure that they do not want that.

Kean is just out of his depth!

He's probably worse than Ince in terms of organising a team. Ewood used to be a fortress, now i can't remember when was the last time we had a comfortable home win!

Tactically, he's naive too. Just look at the diamond formation he prefers and how he insists on selecting JR and Pedersen!

In terms of motivating the team, I cannot remember when was the last time we won a game after going behind. To be fair, this might be due to the mental strength (or weakness) on the part of the players.

The only question i have now is if Kean if able to get his first win before Roberts scores his 1st goal of the season!

You're all in cloud cuckoo land if you think anything will change. Kean will not walk and Venkys will not push.

Hughes is not coming anywhere near Ewood.

If Kean gets hit by an asteroid and a management change is enforced who exactly do you imagine would want to work at Ewood under the present regime. The answer to that is the desperate and unemployed failures or those who covert the severance money, period.

We go with what we've got for as long as Venkys are in charge. You know how it's going to end so I suggest you brace yourselves for the inevitable.

Timmyjimmy, your maybe right - but we have to try and do whatever we can to force hands. Sitting back could have the same result as trying to do something - nothing changes.

But I am from the school that says if somebody is going to do you in, take one down with you, go down fighting.

If things really go pear shape or worse than they are now. We'd all ask oursleves, "could I have done something to prevent it". The answer is probable nothing. But we'd have a nagging thought going through our heads always. I should have at least tried.

I was talking to the greenies(medical staff)and they said Ewood staff nearly walked out on friday after some managment consultants came in and started telling them how to do their job.

To be fair, management consultants have always been a waste of time and money. Unless they are actually in a job they have no idea of how it works etc. I've been there myself and reasoned arguments (including action if necessary) can see the back of them very quickly.

Agreed, as teh saying goes those that can do, those that can't teach (or in this case consult). If your management need consulting on how to do their jobs I'd suggest they aren't fit to manage in the first place.

If Kean lost another 7 in a row, I think Venkys would give the job to John Jensen.

Becuase he is cheap.

From a business point of view they think Kean is great and cheap where in reality he is just cheap.

I wish we had some management consultants on the playing side of the club.

Hope I am not kidding myself but my hopes are rising that we will have seen the last of Kean if a successor can be found to accept the poisoned chalice.

Ibi and John were his picks and they are not only completely stopped but Kean is now out of the loop on transfer decisions in these dying hours of the window apparently.

You're a cyber warrior from Kent. I know who I'd back

I don't live in Kent any more, that's your first mistake.

Where have I been a "cyber warrior"?

You're the bitchy little git whose only contribution on here is to make snide digs at everybody else. If anyone is the "cyber-warrior" then it's you.

You really are a sad sack.

I know I wasnt alone when I had the most ominous feeling that day the Rao brothers walked onto the pitch to be introduced to us. 'Would you buy a used car off these men?' was the question that sprang to mind.

  1. The departure of Allardyce was unnerving.
  2. Replacing him with the 100% inexperienced Kean was seriously worrying.
  3. The departure of John Williams suggested that something was seriously amiss on a business (and possibly an ethical) level.
  4. The nonsense involving cheap publicity stunts (stories about signing Beckham, Ronaldinho and anyone else who features prominently in the world media) confirmed any lingering doubts we may have had that Venkys were here for anything but football.

We now face a situation where 90% of the fans on here are probably more worried about the future of Blackburn Rovers than at any time in living memory - AND OUR OWNERS DO NOT CARE!

They are here purely for the business, not the football, that is perfectly clear. Well OK, lets treat them like you would any other business - BOYCOTT THEM. Not Blackburn Rovers FC, but the Venkys.

Don't buy anything from the stadium, or the club shops. Make it known - on here via a poll, and in emails to the Venkys - that every one of us vows never to buy anything they sell (especially their godawful-looking chicken if they ever attempt to foist it onto the British public).

Contact the media in the UK and India to tell them this boycott is happening.

Be as vocal as you can at the matches, with banners and chants that say We want our football club back! A proper manager. Owners who respect the fans and the club. Something - anything - to suggest this great club of ours isnt being destroyed by asset-stripping shysters with no way back. From where things stand right now, sacking Kean should be a no-brainer as the first of a series of measures - without delay!

Spot on post.I cant stop thinking of what Prince Philip said about 'an Indian fusebox'.

Keans Quotes from Saturday.

“I think it’s more difficult if you look at the table, you’ve not got anything and you’re playing rubbish".

We are.

"...There was very few deciding factors in the Wolves game, and the Villa game was close. Against Everton, we dominated the whole game."

Deciding factor in all three games-conceded more goals than the other side.

"I look at statistics from a half-full point of view. If it’s our worst start in 60 years..."

At least it's not the worst start ever

He's off to India again after window ends on Wednesday. Please don't come back.

Who exactly is in the loop at the moment Phllip ? I hope your right about the successor but I cannot see a right minded manager accepting it .

They say actions speak louder than words, however since January, both action and words have been simply embarrassing for Kean (and subsequently us).

Aside from the circumstances in which he became manager of our club, and his horrific results to date, he also needs a serious reality check when opening his mouth.

Lets have a quick look at some of the corkers our SEM/Kentaro man has come out with…….

The future - its really going to be an exciting time for Blackburn Rovers.

Assistant manager appointment when we announce who it is, it is going to make the football world sit up and take notice.

Myles Anderson- he could become something of a Chris Smalling who came through late in football and Myles has done the same because of his schooling.

Penalty box entries - "on another day, considering we were in the opposition penalty area the equal number of times as Villa, we might have come away with a point."

Grass issues - "I think that on another day if there was a bit more dew on the grass one of his shots would have gone in.

Nice guy, good coach at Fulham, Coventry (and even us!) but Ive personally had enough.

Kean could probably get away with some of the verbal tripe he comes out with if he managed to pick up a few more positive results sadly, for him, the stats dont lie, so far he has been a truly shocking manager.

I think he was saying that if Hughes was at Ewood, it'll be to watch his two former teams in action, rather than because he's coming in to replace Kean. You'd expect the TV cameras would have picked him up if he was there, especially if he was in the executive boxes, or with a Rao brother, and I don't think they did.

Thanks for that BC. Yes I see it now ....he was replying to a post two above where his original was, but without any quote or any kind of reference or subject it is impossible for someone reading his post in isolation to know what he is referring to.

Was it Swindon who got demoted 2 divisions a few years back?

Please don't remind me of that, Abs. Still furious about it.

It's no so much a case of how to do their jobs, but how to do them more efficiently. Knowing the medical staff at Rovers, I'd say they were doing a pretty good job already, although maybe someone's flagged up Vince...

I wish we had some management consultants on the playing side of the club.

A definite case of be careful what you wish for. Just the sort of job your Jason Roberts would be likely to get.

I am not a Keane fan, and I know every one will want to stone me for this blog. Anyone that was at Ewood on Sat. will tell you the second half with the subs on, we played really well. We could have and should have won by at least 3 clear goals,we would then be half way up the league.

The players that have come in this window, plus the ones still to come in are Keanes choice.

One day to go in the window, a new manager can't sign any new players till Jan.

Makes sence to give Keane a chance to get the new players settled, if were still in the bottom 3 by the next international break in Oct. Then get rid.

This gives the Venky's time to look for a replacement, and the new manager time to assess squad before Jan. window.

Stop talking as if we (the Rovers) have done something illegal, nothing has been proved and as yet it is all hearsay, and speculation (thats Glens view of things) lets see what happens(if anything)and be posative.

If he wasnt a convicted drink driver and a liar to boot, I would perhaps go along with your viewpoint.

When I read back on earlier posts and try and take in his nonsensical post match crap, I am even more convinced that this man and his cronies are a disease within our club and need removing immediately, however painful that may prove to be.

Look at his record.

Look at the fact that he has no experience.

Look at his love affair with Jason Roberts.

Look at the weekly crap he spouts after games.

Under Kean, we are looking at being rooted firmly to the bottom of the table.

The facts outway having a positive attitude about everything. There is no argument, not even a discussion left. The only people supporting Kean now are a small mixture of fools and people that are worried about Venkys' ability to secure a replacement.

I hope you're referring to SK and not me!!

If you are referring to Kean - I couldn't agree with you more. If Kean, who in my opinion shouldhave been sacked immediately on being convicted, for bringing the Rovers and football into disrepute. I am sure that Rovers, at that point in time, could have got away without paying compensation (I am no legal expert). This is only my opinion. But, alas, he was allowed to continue for whatever reason, therefore what I said above still stands.

Mind you - he should have gone earlier - too late now for dismissing on those grounds.
