The Rovers have a hard road because they should have at least gotten something from Fulham at home and probably visiting Stoke City as well which wasn't even a good effort.

So, since they didn't get anything from those two, they really need to defeat Sunderland.

Rovers may have been hard done vs. Norwich but then, may have been fortunate against Wigan so perhaps that evens out a little.

Well another bad day in terms of results imo

Bolton losing is of no consequence cos three teams go down,

Well I can't agree with this though I understand the rest of the arguement Glen puts forward. Had Bolton won we would be looking at needing to win at Sunderland to catch up with them. As it stands IF we can get a couple of points from Sunderland and WBA and then beat Bolton (absolutely ESSENTIAL in my book) we can put six points between us.

Wigan's win at WBA helps us by keeping both in touching distance - a WBA win would have put them 8 points clear of Rovers. Win tomorrow and beat WBA and we go ahead of them.

I know this is all very much wishful thinking and it's hard to see these results happening but I still think today's results are GOOD news for Rovers. I still feel a little buit happier than I did a week ago, there is a very, very faint glimmer at the end of the tunnel. We haven't turned a corner but IF we could get some decent results out of the next three matches things could be much brighter.

Six-point swing in the last 10 mins at Sunderland means instead of being out of the bottom 3 and two points ahead of Sunderland Rovers are stuck in 19th place 4 points behind Sunderland and 4 points adrift of safety.

To make matters worse, Givet, Olsson and Lowe were all injured in the match - 2 possibly seriously.

Some teams look doomed for relegation - and that's been us since the start of the season.

we are gone, so are bolton

Prepare for the championship in jan and try to avoid starting with a 10pt deduction........however i have no faith that money from samba and hoillet in jan will do anything more than be pocketed by venkyscum, jeromefilth and coco and debts will simply mount.

Well Kean blew his big chance of getting himself some breathing space today.

We are now in the deepest deep brown smelly excrement. Table as it stands just now including all three newly promoted clubs:

10 Norwich 15 -4 19

11 Swansea 15 -4 17

12 Everton 14 -3 16

13 QPR 15 -11 16

14 Fulham 15 -2 15

15 West Brom 15 -9 15

16 Sunderland 15 0 14

17 Wolves 15 -12 14

18 Wigan 15 -15 12

19 Blackburn 15 -12 10

20 Bolton 15 -16 9

Norwich has 19 points from 15 games so from the 23 remaining, you can see they look comfortable barring a total collapse, Swansea got a clean sheet against no less Fulham yesterday, so with that homeform, honestly, they look to have fortune on their side too. Blackburn's loss was real bad, Aston Villa won their first away game this year, so that was a bad loss for Bolton too. Why did they stuff Stoke City badly a few weeks ago?

West Brom lost at home to Wigan so they will put up a good effort next Saturday. One thing about West Brom is they are a bit like Wigan in that the big clubs play them off the pitch, not very close. West Brom seems to do okay with other clubs on their level, drew QPR, defeated Bolton in recent games.

Now Wigan will play Chelsea, Liverpool, Man Utd. Just from those games, it would not surprise me to see them give up 10 goals.

Sunderland 0 GD, if Bruce did nothing else for them, they did not give up a lot of goals.

I have given up all hope for staying up, I just cant be arsed about it.

**** and venkys have killed the club.

Although I will forever be a Blue and White, I will no longer purchase my season ticket, nor the shirt or merchandise and I will find an alternative to spend my saturday afternoons in future.

That is how sad the situation had gotten.

**** OUT

I can see one club getting dragged into it but you would think that Bolton under Coyle will have much more about them than we do. I reckon we'll draw with West Brom and then get beaten by Notlob and that will spend the end of Kean's reign. Will be too late by then.

It is too late now, time to act was after the Wolves game last season ....

The horse bolted and is running for the championship at an alarming rate , with a bald headed jockey who couldn't run bath ....

I try my very best to stay upbeat towards rovers.

I was content under sam/trust.

Its just not fun anymore! I am actually shocked at how many matches I have missed this season that I would normally go to, I only live 2 mins away from ewood.

Rovers has always been a passionate and enjoyable family occasion for me but it has almost been destroyed by kean and venkys - THANKS A LOT! (Dont know how you managed to do that in under 12 months!? bravo your only achievment!!

ITS NOT FUN ANYMORE, ITS A SICK JOKE. Cant do with feeling this emotional drain of anger and sadness every weeken. Its not like we are going down without a fight. We are going down without a clue!

You have tied a brick to your babys foot and thrown it the river to try and cure a cold.

Thats more becasue I simply disagree with certain aspects! Ive wanted kean out for a while he is not up to the job. Tried to avoid critism of venkys in hope of investment and turnaround of running of the club. But it feels all to late now, what investment or changes will effect us now. We are this seasons west ham it feels at the moment. I ran out of hope of venkys doing anything after the "hybrid' running of the club.

Wigan has 2 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss out of their last 4, yeah, they'll lose to the usual big clubs but this current form may not be too bad and we know how that draw went, those things happen too. They might escape again but since they usually lose a bunch of games in the PL, sometimes badly, I don't know if they really belong.

We need an offer to Mrs D that she can nit refuse.

Someone somewhere must fancy owning a half decent honest town football club.

Let's be honest it hasn't cost this lot a penny !!!

I'm half an idea to try and buy the club myself, it's not like you need any capital.

Just a lot of front, pro ado and half a business plan. As for fit and proper test, well that will be a breeze after this lot !!!
