Was thinking the same, Wigan doing well so far, causing Liverpool few problems

Wigan looked alright, but could have easily lost that match by 3 or 4. It's a terrible result for us and makes our own recent failures look even worse.

0pts from next 2 matches gives everyone a chance to extend the gap

we are gone, i accept we are down but i'll wait to see what our point deduction next season will be before i even begin to think about what we can achieve in the championship or most likely not achieve with kean in charge

5 points cut adrift after Steve f***** Kean's "streak of winnable matches". Liverpool and Man Utd coming up next.

No money. No manager. No leadership.

Entering into administration seems like a blessing at this point in time.

Hope Venky's and Kean have a wonderful Christmas.

To get 40 points we pretty much need top 4 form till May.

Ain't going to happen with or without Kean. The only possible hope is that it's a 32/33 point season.

However, with that idiot in the dugout we ain't getting anywhere near 30 either. The fat lady has sung.

It's nothing to do with luck, we're just an average team with a terrible manager. We just played Bolton at their lowest ebb in decades and lost convincingly to them.

I agree. I guess what I mean is that the Rovers don't even get any luck ever, if it wasn't for bad luck they would get no luck at all as the song says.

Nicko's "gem's" both seem to be struggling a bit?

Alan Nixon is the living proof of the old saying that "Empty vessels make most sound".

The days of less than 20k are nearer than next season....

Relegation is a worry certainly.... but it's a long way off from our biggest worry.

Exactly. I'd just settle for a team running out in blue and White halves at Ewood Park once every two weeks to be honest. Whatever division we're in. Do us a favour, kill us quick Venkys.

It isn't luck's fault our midfielders aren't covering the fullbacks.

It isn't luck that got rid of Emerton & Diouf.

It isn't luck who makes terrible substitutions losing us points.

It isn't luck who purchased pointless buys like Ribeiro and Anderson when we needed solid cover and replacements for aging players and the Joneses.

And it isn't luck who is starting with one up front at home in six pointers.

It's also not luck that's lied to the fans and tried to incite them to confront each other, but that's a different story.

It's not likely after the performance on Tuesday against Bolton that anything positive remains of this season while Kean is in charge..

Rovers have 10 points at the moment. I've compiled a list of potential wins/draws, the rest of the games I considered write-offs.

* Stoke (probably will not win)

* Fulham

* QPR

* Wolves

* Bolton

* West Brom (probably will not win)

* Swansea

* Norwich

* Wigan

For me this is best case scenario, either drawing both stoke and west brom or winning either of those games plus the rest.

that is an almighty task but very very do able if we got some one like Mark Hughes in...but with the puppet still in charge no chance....

Still short of the 40 mark if we win all of those. Draw stoke and wba and we are looking at 33 points

The pack has not really pulled away, one more game till the half season mark if I'm correct.

http://www.soccerway.com/national/england/premier-league/2011-2012/regular-season/

Lots of possibilities, every one can see how it is all shaping up.

Of course, Man Utd. is likely to be a loss, so you just hope the others don't tack up another 3 or so in the remainder.

One more game until the half way point in the season, need probably 30 more points to stay up after accumulating 11 so far - do we think it could be a low amount needed this season or best to work off 40 points?

Kean said post match we have momentum now so anything could be possible??? :rolleyes:
