King Kenny's Magic Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 With you in the role of Weed presumably. Just admit you are clueless then we can all move on. Says the bloke who still thinks Pedersons decent and(if i remember correctly)wants a pitch invasion at Ewood. Numpty. Stan Marsh's Grandad springs to mind.

jim mk2 Posted February 4, 2012 Author Posted February 4, 2012 Thank you for that from one of the intellientsia who wanted Sam sacked and the Trust kicked out. Hope you're pleased with the outcome since.

The Trust kicked out? When did that happen? I thought they wanted to sell us for four years and ended up selling us to some Indian gypsys at a low, low price. I must have imagined it

None of this my imagination nor is your anti-Sam and anti-Trust stance. Congratulations.

Threepenny Bit Foot Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Last one out turn off the floodlights please
Lurid Coat Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Both Wigan and Wolves in the lead now. Happy days!
frosty Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Everton have equalised at least. Need a QPR goal now.
Paul Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Everton have equalised at least. Need a QPR goal now. The very last thing we needed was a QPR goal, Wolves winning helps keep us in touch. It's a five team league for Rovers and we are fourth, QPR first with a gap of three points. A victory next Saturday puts us level with them in points. A two goal win puts us ahead if them on goals scored. I don't know how but we are still in touch. I thought we were finished before Christmas but somehow we are hanging in there in February.

That's the ridiculous thing, to me we are down but it seems no matter how bad we get we still keep being in touch
thenodrog Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 I think the other teams are still fighting whilst our lot are looking demoralised. We now have that look about us.
Paul Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Bolton v Wigan Rovers v QPR Wolves v WBA Next weekends fixture. So far we've had three chances to get out of this mess. Next Saturday is the next one. A win for WBA probably makes them safe. A win for Rovers is essential. NO PROTEST PLEASE

Amo Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 I don't know how but we are still in touch. I thought we were finished before Christmas but somehow we are hanging in there in February. Technically, yes. Feasibly, no. Venky's & Kean have sealed our fate.
nellybc Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 NO PROTEST PLEASE It's a one man KEAN OUT from me! I know I want venky's out but I can't sit through 90 mins next Saturday if they are as abject as that this afternoon!! He is to blame as well!!
rovers11 Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 We have to be realistic, there isn't any possibility we will stay up this season. Come the end of the season, we will be nowhere near safety. It doesn't matter what other teams do, we havent got enough to stay up. In some ways, it may have been better if we had been cut adrift today. Todays other results give us false hope and take fans attention away from the real issues at the club.

We're sinking without a trace regardless of whether there's protests or not. Better to accept that we're done for, Paul, instead of this naive belief that Kean's gonna turn it around.

I agree... there's no correlation between protesting and playing poorly, in fact it's the other way around, so I'm not sure why anybody would advise against protesting.

rigger Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 I think that all three relegated teams will have W involved in there names
Bluefudge Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Pains me to say this, but you look at that performance today and you have to say we are Championship class at very best. Our players can not compete consistently, midfield looks non existent, took us a full 90 mins to get a corner today. I know it was Arsenal away. Even under Hughes we got stuffed there, but his team and his staff would make sure the next performance wiped any memory of a heavy defeat out. Kean and his staff can not and will not have the same effect. Maybe it's best to take a step back, ie relegation, so we may build again.
ross-shire rover Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 I think that all three relegated teams will have W involved in there names Do you have a lisp? Wigan, Wolves and Blackburn Wovers
den Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Maybe it's best to take a step back, ie relegation, so we may build again. Problem is, I don't think that's possible. The infrastructure has gone, the owners aren't interested, the better players will leave and we'll be stuck with a bunch of players that Kean hasn't been able to get much out of and would struggle to compete in the Championship. The absolute best we can hope for is that we can somehow cobble together a squad that would be the likes of the Blackpool and West Broms of the footballing world - a club that might make it back to the top league one day, but would be favourites to go right back down again straight away. The absolute worst doesn't bear thinking about.
roverandout Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 rigger you seriously think west brom will go down when they are about 8 or 9 points clear of us? was that tongue-in-cheek or are you just thick?

Someone always drops like a stone from Feb onwards.... Den.. I should also of added to move forward we need new owners too. Relegation and I think Venkys would take the first offer they had.
