Kai Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Some folk are saying he's in at 2 pm for a medical, sorry but i still dont think it's going to happen. Even if it's true, we'll have no chance since every single flipping medical we've done for a player seems to take two+ days.

Nelsta Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Even if it's true, we'll have no chance since every single flipping medical we've done for a player seems to take two+ days. True, at least we are very thorough
Amo Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 If we're signing him to strengthen the backline, then great. Just the type of player we need. If it's to accommodate Samba's departure then... Oooer.

Fair enough to be sure but a 2 part, 2 day medical seems a bit extreme. Get the transfer through and sorted. Takes me back to uni days and the hoi poloi nights at the nightclub in hillfields Colly/Kasbah? Many a rough night had in that place
Fylde Coast Fan Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Ian Singleton on Twitter saying that reports of an almost-done deal are premature - enquiry made but no fee agreed.
Nelsta Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 iansingleton1 Ian Singleton @ @watko10 I agree on both counts(being a great signing and unlikley to happen). From what I understand Blackburn are not close to Birmingham's valuation.

Billy Castell Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 So either it is more or less done, or nowhere near being completed. OK then that's cleared it all up!

SteveBean Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 personally i think theres more chance of losing 2 - 0 at half time against fulham and steve kean ripping of his suit onoly for a rovers kit to be on underneath then sub himself on and get a hat-trick
Slinky Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Colly/Kasbah? Many a rough night had in that place I used to work there... had more than a few rough nights!! But seriously, I have this uneasy feeling that a few hours after this deal being finalised, Arsenal will announce the signing of Samba. A bit like a child being given a super-soaker, but being told that their parents sold their PS3 to buy it...
Roverdale Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 personally i think theres more chance of losing 2 - 0 at half time against fulham and steve kean ripping of his suit onoly for a rovers kit to be on underneath then sub himself on and get a hat-trick Hat-trick or no hat-trick.. He'd still be better than Roberts.
roverandout Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 perhaps he can sit on roberts shoulders, while roberts runs around with his head up kean's ass while baldy navigates his way to the goal

Roverdale Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Liam Ridgewell hands in transfer request at Birmingham. Maybe because his good pal Dann has said he's leaving for Rovers? Snep Ridgewell up to and chuck him at RB! Oof #Business!!
modes98 Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Snep Ridgewell up to and chuck him at RB! Oof #Business!! Prone to the odd lapse in concentration and likes to give away pens, probably fit in well
chris Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Prone to the odd lapse in concentration and likes to give away pens, probably fit in well got to be better then Salgado
Hekla Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Dann is a very realistic target too, Birmingham are not a big club to be at, they are struggling for funds and they are not in the Premiership anymore. We must have a chance.
