Daremz
He'll probably get seriously injured in his first week of training, missing all matches until halfway through February. Typically our luck at the moment...

Amo
We had money from player sales you mean? Fair dos, they let the club spend more of it than I thought, but lets not pretend they are putting in any of their own capital. What player sales? The £16.5m from Jones went straight to the bank. So...?
True Blue & White
Great signing, people quickly forget this guy was being touted as a £15m player linked with Arsenal and Liverpool at the start of the summer. Probably the only signing I'm chuffed with (although that's not to say I'm not please by some of the others).

Your net spend is probably closer to zero than £7.4 million when you take into account agent fees and the fact Dann cost almost 8 million...not 6. Dann was £6m plus possible add-ons which could rise to £8m. I've not included clause add odds, else I'd have said we got £20.55m for Phil Jones which would cancel out Dann's add ons anyway. Most quoted tranfer fees are inclusive of agent fees as well.

BRFC1995
It seems to be that he is here (going off gossip and rumours) as we are paying a lot more in wages than more likely destinations would have been willing.....be truthfull its bloody suprising that he is here. Not complaining but as much as anyone would know on here are we thinking £40k+per week. Apparently he was on a hefty wedge at brum so i'm thinking way in excess of 25k. All guesses but i'd love to know what kind of striker we could have got with a load more to offer using danns wages as well.
donnermeat
Would people rather have split the Dann transfer fee on getting Onuoha and El Hamdouai instead? (Instead of Yak) Not sure myself just thought it was an interesting one.

glen9mullan
Dann great signing, and the figure quoted seems good business, but there are lots and lots of hidden clauses within this deal which makes the Jones to United deal look really really cheap. He did'nt look too pleased when looking at his body language on Wednesday that he had ended up at Rovers, I think he had set his sights much higher, but he had very little options bar Rovers. Hopefully he will now get his head down, and not be looking to jump ship this time next year. Potentially a great partnership with Samba, and just what we needed. True Blue & White
Rochina? most /moʊst/ Show Spelled[mohst] Show IPA adjective, superl. of much or many with more as compar. 1. in the greatest quantity, amount, measure, degree, or number: to win the most votes. 2. in the majority of instances: Most operations are successful. 3. greatest, as in size or extent: the most talent. (Instead of Yak) Not sure myself just thought it was an interesting one. Onouha (60k im sure Nicko said) is on more than Dann to start with....so + El Hamoudi we would have probably been paying out an extra £50+ a week (£10m over a 4 year contract)....so no. Also Dann is a much better defender than Onouha. Nedum would be a good option for right back, but id much rather we wait for Nathan Clyne and maybe get him signed up ready for January. He doesnt strike me as a player who likes to be in the limelight so perhaps a little nervous infront of cameras? You have to be realistic and say he has made a big step up, going from a yo-yo/ relegation club to an established premier league side. The next step for him would be a top 5 club, but that would take massive money & would mean he has seriously impressed with us!!
alexanders
What about SWP, Cameron Jerome, Yakubu etc Cant say I've seen anyone looking especially happy during deadline day. Think its an exhausting day for many. Dann should look at Phil Jones and know that if he performs he will get his move.

67splitscreen
Always thought the fee was the headline # excluding all other costs incurred in the deal. Rumour most of his T/F is to be paid at a later date ???? when part two of PJ money comes in. Could also eventually break the club record according to Kean, when asked. Conundrum's rule!
