Isn't Nicholas an SEM client? apparently most fans have always been happy with Kean and like his style... obviously they've failed to mention Kean's overall managerial record.

That was very strange on sky sports. Not once did they mention Keans record. Just said that nobody had put there names to the letter.

Well I am sure a few on here would be willing to have their names added to the letter. what did sky expect? "yours sincerely" with a list of names.

Sky also talked about Everton fans protesting - but did not slag those supporters off.

Whoever arranged all this did a great job whether it was Glen or whoever it's made continues articles and interviews.

Kean actually laughed it off and said he isn't bothered, but hopefully Venkys didn't.

It was former BRFCS Member (and one of the very few people on the long term banned list) Tombo, aka West Sussex Rovers, aka a few other things I think. I think he's due on the 5 Live to discuss it tomorrow.

Sadly the media play to their own agenda, Winter did a sympathetic piece as he's general quite sympathetic towards us, everyone else isn't so will end up using the same stuff against us.

Even if Tombo's work had been passed through a decent PR agent first, it would have worked both for and against us.

Well said rovermatt yes I agree no team has the divine right to be in the EPL but I ask you Gord & Gav should we then sit back and watch our club dismantled and ripped to shreds without doing nothing. I agree no club has a divine right to retain their EPL status you have to work hard to remain there but as supporters and I think I speak for the majority we would expect the management & staff to do everything in their power to make sure we retain our Prem. Status I also thought that SSN piece was weird and made me ask the question would Charlie be so complimentary if his beloved L'Arse had Steve Kean ripping the entire quality out his club and had them in the bottom 3 most of the season?. On another subject glad we missed out on acquiring Asamoah Gyan could you imagine the fan backlash if he did that to us?.

Charlie Nicholas just did his usual paid stooge/spokesman for Anderson/Kentaro so no big surprise there.

Glen has done a fantastic job and got a tremendous amount of coverage.

If Charlie Nicholas wants a letter to go in next week with signatures on, I am sure that can be arranged. :rover: :rover: :rover: :rover:

Mocking message from Charlie = Backfire big time on Kean.

Whoever that Southern chap was he got the runaround by Ian Payne...

I think it was Tombo (WestSussexRover, was he also BenMaxwell?) I missed it but from the twitter comments it sounds as though he sadly didin't use the time too well or they didn't give him chance to put his point accross.

The 'donut' incident is nothing IMO, he doesn't do too much wrong there for me, again we have legitimate gripes with Kean without needing to use that sort of thing
