m1st Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 They're about to discuss "the letter" on Radio 5 now.
Plastic Head Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 Just realised I want us to lose 7-0. I am sure that would be best for the club long term, especially as it seems SEM's role may have been diminished. We need a manager and quick. Sad but if we win I will be gutted.
slough_rover Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 I cant believe that people are contemplating taking a loss. What guarantee is there that he will get the sack? What if we lose and Kean is still here? Its all rumours atm. Just like Rafa had signed a pre contract to take over if we survived the drop. I want Kean gone as much as the next man but wishing your team to lose is disgusting.
Ricky Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 We need a win, my thoughts towards Kean are secondary to us getting a vital 3 points. I could never hope for us to lose.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 Think Roberts and Dann will start, Vuk, Yak etc on bench. Not sure who comes in for Pedersen, maybe another DM.
glen9mullan Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 It was mainly the author explaining how it has been taken out of context and also the fact its been misquoted by the media, He got the point across that polls suggest its not a minority, but also mentioned he felt Venkys were RIGHT to sack Allardyce, which sort of gives, the "Laughing Assassin" View, I personally would not of supported Allardyce's removal at the time we did it, it was a shock, and a knee Jerk reaction, But at least people are talking about it
Mattyblue Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 Saying 'yep, I want Kean out' 'Allardyce?' 'yeah, him an all' didn't do much for his argument. ended up in knots.
bats Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 Ian Dennis BBC: BRFC Robinson Salgado Dann Samba Givet Nzonzi Dunn Hoilett Formica Rochina and Goodwillie
Iceman Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 I really can't handle Roberts, playing or starting another game. It will be a catastrophe, if he starts and the likes of Yakubu, Goodwillie and Rochina on the bench.
Stuart Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 Ian Dennis BBC: BRFC Robinson Salgado Dann Samba Givet Nzonzi Dunn Hoilett Formica Rochina and Goodwillie Aside from persisting with Dunn and concerns about Salgado, that's not a bad side. Pretty attacking for an away game. If he's going out, he's going out in style. No Petrovic or Vukcevic though? EDIT: confirmed on Sky. Sub: Bunn Olsson Petrovic Vuckevic Lowe Yakubu Roberts
OsloRover Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 Ian Dennis BBC: BRFC Robinson Salgado Dann Samba Givet Nzonzi Dunn Hoilett Formica Rochina and Goodwillie Not bad if true. A bit surprising that Olsson's been dropped, maybe he's tired after his international exploits.
den Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 Nzonzi Dunn Hoilett Formica Rochina Not a lot of tackling from there.
Bobby G Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 In terms of attacking players other than Olsson thats what everyones been wanting for a while. Going backwards may be a problem, but lets see.
Tooogs Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 Petrovic for Dunn 7mins in... you heard it here first!
chaddyrovers Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 Rovers playing 4-2-3-1 formation. I would expect plenty of movement from our front 4 of Hoilett, Formica, Goodwillie and Rochina. Come on Rovers, we can win today!!! at least Roberts isn't starting today, thank god!
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 A lot of movement, pace and passing though. Attack is the best form of defence.
Josh Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 who is on the bench? I only saw Vukcevic and Petrovic when it flicked past in the Norwich game
RibbleValleyRover Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 Nzonzi Dunn Hoilett Formica Rochina Not a lot of tackling from there. N'zonzi looked all over the place with Dunny alongside him this season. If you are to play a 5 man midfield you need two tacklers really, we have just the one.
glen9mullan Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 Very pleased with starting line up, Its positive plus I think Givet is a better defender than Olsson, so he is at least giving us a chance today,
Backroom Tom Posted September 11, 2011 Backroom Posted September 11, 2011 Good team although I'd rather Dunn wasn't playing personally, maybe he's on in case we get a penalty.
