Gav
A few people have said Gest was a guest of Robbos dad. Would be great news if Robbo who has shown more passion than anyone at Rovers is the one to get disciplined. I've been told that Kean had a go at Robbo for clapping the fans after the Wigan game, was heard laying into Robbo in the tunnel area, make of that what you will. onlyonejackwalker
Does anybody know which player David Gest was a guest of on Saturday I do not claim to be in the ITK or anything but i have been told that Kean is trying to discipline the player for allowing him to be pictured with the yellow protest shirt Gest was in the corporate boxes behind me in Block 1, lower tier. Robbos box that he always waves up to. Gest was asked to be pictured with the shirt but at first looked a little confused, but as more and more fans asked him he lowered the window and then stood for pictures with it. He loved being photographed and the ensuing two minutes of fame. I wondered at the time whether he was a guest of the club or a player. Gest was wearing a Rovers shirt. With Mokoena on the back.... John
Interesting write up below, pretty spot on? Plenty of sanctimonious types have criticised Blackburn fans for booing even after winning at the weekend, but with Steve Kean inexplicably still in charge, what are they to do? RoyRover
Interesting write up below, pretty spot on? Plenty of sanctimonious types have criticised Blackburn fans for booing even after winning at the weekend, but with Steve Kean inexplicably still in charge, what are they to do? Bang on. At least someone gets it. That should be posted to a few of the 'experts' who can't get their heads around fans protests.
eire3382
I'm beginning to wonder if kean is actually under any real pressure from the owners. It seems to me that he is the only real point of contact the V's have with the club and so he is hardly going to point out his failings. Honestly the more I think about it the more I believe Kean is effectively running the entire show. Remember he will never ever get another managers job after this one so he has to hold on with both hands. The longer he stays the further the club falls. In my opinion if he is here in 5 years time we will not be in the football league, he is that bad a manager, in my opinion. Some question protesting against him but I would argue its the only possible way to remove him. If we as fans sit on our hands and do nothing then the media won't report on the issues and so the idiots in India will have no idea whats going on. We are proably already relegated this year but Kean must be removed for the sake of the long term future of teh club. Everyday he stays the more damage he does!!!!!!!!!!!! This must be the selling point to all those who refuse to protest.
Ricky
Footy365 have taken a bit of a kicking on here in the past due to some of their comments about Alan Nixon but that piece is absolutely spot on. Hole in one Matthew Stanger and rancidrodent, take a bow, at last someone gets it. Personally I've taken the rancidrodent route, Venkys will not get another penny from me until Comical Ali has been sorted - even though it does make me sick to my stomach to miss the games it's the price I have to pay for my one man protest.
