mick
Not sure if this has been mentioned in the 390+ pages, but perhaps Kean has his contract with SEM and they employed him as the manager and the family cannot fire him because they didn't. Also if they do want rid of Kean it may mean that they would have to terminate their contract with SEM and that would cost them millions. Perhaps SEM purchased the management rights to BRFC and consequently the Raios own the club but do not run it. This Im sure is the way these modern business minds work. Sell everything, sub contract and strip the assets of the club so that all that was once fixed and of value is now fluid and worthless. Apologies if someone else has stated this. I just do not understand why the man and the management team has not been dismissed.

bestierover
http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Blackburn-Mark-Hughes-set-to-reject-return-as-manager-leaving-Steve-Kean-in-charge-into-New-Year-article845255.html Jesus wept. Desai still backing Kean. Oooooh, could be a nail in the coffin that one. Or, perhaps the source is Kean himself? Delusion passing into his everyday thoughts and comments? Well, what am saying, he's not deluded at all. Just watching his comments on motd tonight clarified that. Especially the bit where he seemed to state that the fans views don't matter a jot. Terrifying because it seems very logical.

beerwins
I truly, truly hope that what we've been told about the FA/PL not investigating us is true... because I overheard a suggestion that actually both bodies might be biding their time and giving us enough rope...FOR GOODNESS' SAKE VENKYS, SAY SOMETHING TO STOP THESE RUMOURS ABOUNDING!!! Were going down anyway with owners who are pennyless, what the hell will a investigation do to us what Venky's have'nt done already? Deduct us of points (which we have'nt got) take money (which we dont have) The only person here who should worry is the tea lady, she is the only one who has'nt been sacked yet ( maybe that is because she is running the club) Whatever happens to Rovers now will only get worse with these idiots in charge and the sooner the skeletons are out the cupboard the better, the sooner they are booted out no matter what league we are in we will have our Rovers back. Premiership football is total ###### atm anyway 40,000 fine for Suarez and 2,500 for Terry for the same thing and the press ripping us apart for standing up for our own team and not the manager. Alan75
I know that its a bad time but can members please remember. This board attracts a wide range of users, including the young and easily offended. We therefore ask that you refrain from using bad language in your posts. Attempts to get around the “bad word” filters by deliberate mis-spelling or the use of substitute characters (*/~@# etc.) are considered to be the same as the use of the actual word. In some respects, attempting to manipulate language in this way is more offensive than the actual use of bad language. Bad language will not be tolerated in any section of the messageboard. Persistent offenders will have posting rights stopped.
EwoodDawn
So according to the Telegraph Coco spent the afternoon on the train with his family? The whole afternoon? I'm not buying it that he couldn't have got the Preston to Euston express. And where has his personal chauffeur disappeared to? Sorry, don't buy that one. Lurid Coat
So it's better to wish terminal illnesses on someone than using bog standard swear words with asterisks (*) replacing some of the letters? Steve Kean and Venky's are way more offensive than "bad language", I'd claim, but it's not my messageboard. KEAN OUT!

DanielMB
Makay: or whoever is in the know. Why havent they sold the club when they obviously cant afford it?? Why are they refusing to make any kind of statement???? I never thought I could hate someone I never met but Kean and Venkys: I hate you and I want to say a big (Please don't use that word again) you for ruining my christmas and a part of my identity

RoyRover
I really don't understand the reaction of some people to the protests, like managers, players and the LMA? Is the chanting for Steve Kean to get sacked any worse than what Big Sam got at Newcastle or other managers who the fans want out?
hesfromburn
Yeah I dont get them either. The whole media reaction towards Kean shows hows distant club and fans have become, its like were just the pathertic peasents who come to watch we just dont understand their glorified little world (bubble) that people like hanson, lawro footballers in general all of them live in who are we to have opinion. Its like they are in shock we dont just pay the money to keep them there and shut up. Owen, Rednapp who the clumsy, hit shift + 8 again!! are they to tell fans of any club how they should and shouldnt behave. WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD...LET ME BE YOUR GUIDE! KEAN OUT! Puffsan
i think things are getting alot clearer every single day. my Theory: Qataris made a bid or a request to buy rovers, desai wanted to sell, brothers did not. And now shes playing really hardball. not one penny more on rovers, and no sacking of kean to push his brothers to agree to sell. Now the problem is qataris are probably not interested anymore. she knows venkys will never earn money on rovers so she will have to cut her losses of the investment. how? by selling players and stripping every asset in this club There is no other LOGICAL theory thats make sense for why she is keeping him, if we look away from all those sick conspiracy theories. Bluefudge
If the Daily Star is to be believed. Could it be that they wish to humiliate Kean. Maybe by saying he has to win these totally unwinnable games they are trying to make him jump ? Rather than losing face sacking him ?
Dan
Daily Star saying Kean must beat Liverpool and Man Utd to save his job. http://www.dailystar.co.uk/football/view/226731/Beat-Man-U-or-you-re-out/ What odds can we get on Kean still being in charge next year? Why even waste time waiting till after those two games. If we can't beat WBA and Notlob at home, we've not a cat in hells chance of getting anymore points this year. If the Daily Star is to be believed. Could it be that they wish to humiliate Kean. Maybe by saying he has to win these totally unwinnable games they are trying to make him jump ? Rather than losing face sacking him ? Kean wouldn't walk if we got beaten 20-0. He'd still be 'positive'. We are on the verge of an unbeaten run. What's the lowest points total in a season? I reckon we'll be breaking a few more records with Agent Kean in charge.
