RibbleValleyRover
According to Nixon, Venkys plan to sign a big name player in January rather than sack Steve Kean. That's the idea being floated about to please the fans. They clearly don't have a clue.

Bobby G
This is ludicrous. Nixon says they think it will be cheaper than replacing managers. So sell Junior, sell Formica, replace with 1 big name? Which planet are these guys from? Wouldnt be surprised if this was Mrs Keans advice to Mrs Desai! That's the idea being floated about to please the fans. What a complete waste of time, effort and money. So we waste all of our time trying to chase a big name to end up with no one, selling players and the window closing leaving us in an even worse (somehow) position than we are now. Worst. Owners. Ever.

BuckyRover
Indeed. He said Kean was being potted the other day. Saying that though, it wouldn't surprise me
dring1
yay another transfer window of chasing Ronaldinho and ending up with Myles Anderson.. fan fricking tastic!! There money would be far better spent on getting a manager in who could actually get the best out of the players we already have and make a couple of shrewd additions through the loan market. and which big name player would join us bottom of the league and 5 points addrift of safety. its an absolute joke
novella
Haha i wouldnt even join blackburn as a player at the moment if i was asked....how the (Please don't use that word again) are they planning on attracting a big name. ###### bellends! rovers11
No top player would come to us when we are bottom of the league and heading for the championship. Ridiculous.
BuckyRover
I wonder (if true) who could possibly be advising that the best course of action is to buy a new, probably expensive player. I wonder who benefits from that?

sijoco
We'll be lucky to tempt someone from the Championship to come never mind one of Venky's fabled "Big Names". Seriously what planet are these complete and utter halfwits on!!???

That's the idea being floated about to please the fans. IF that's the case, I would like to see which "big name player" they will acquire for less than £1 Million. On a slave's wage of course. Perhaps they will try to lure Kevin Phillips away from Blackpool. The Rao family are scum.

BRFC1995
i'd picture our boardroom as a wood panelled deadly serious place a year ago..............i have a mental image of the wall paper peeling and turning brown with a dead dog in the corner now. They are all scum..........almost enough to make a man racist, as they've clearly got a dislike for the english certainly no respect.
Steve Moss
According to Nixon, Venkys plan to sign a big name player in January rather than sack Steve Kean. That's the idea being floated about to please the fans. Wow. I'm amazed. Either Nicko is wrong (a possibility) or Venkys truly are incompetent. Hughes, Souness or Curbishley are the only real footballing options. They'll probably all have similar demands, as what they are demanding is: 1) necessary to maximize chances the relegation dogfight is a success; and, 2) what they are worth. Venkys appear [if Nicko is right] to behave as if they were fish on a hook. All they're doing is drive the hook in deeper and weakening the club before it is served up with chips. BPF
Who is tfs blackburn? No doubt another attention seeker with no real clue Until it appears on the official website I would just roll your eyes at anything else. It's amazing people still have hope. This is just because Venkys have cut us off. We are now being left to die like many of Balaji's other projects. The chicken world isn't enough for him so he spends his time running other ventures into the ground. All this crap about Mrs Desai holding on etc is balls. She doesnt care. This isn't effecting her life in any way and she is most likely looking forward to the parachute payments coming in. To everyone and Venkys and indeed the Walker Trust - I hope the remainder of your lives are filled with anger, sadness and constant confusion. The life of a Rovers fan post 2010. sambo
Well thanks Glen for your rumour from your 'great source' that Kean was going, really got my hopes up did that! And obviously (again) it didn't come to fruition. I'd consider getting some new sources if I was you. And as for Mrs Desai, you're a bitch and I hope you rot in hell. No regard for our football team or our people. As someone said above, enough to make someone racist - never seen such pig ignorance from a bunch of people in my life. And as for Kean, I truly wish the worst on you, you scumbag. Oh, and the media criticising us for singing Kean out. It's barely reported when all of Old Trafford calls Wenger a paedophile, and Arsenal's chant of 'shot in Angola, it should have been you' at Adebayor was barely mentioned. But when little old Blackburn sing 'Kean out' and unfurl a few banners we're 'out of line' and 'disgusting'. Give me a ###### break. Sick of modern football. Kelbo
If anyone had any resevations about Venkys being thick and stupid, if Nicko is correct, this would really show everyone we have total numptys for owners, I and many others have been sure for quite some time but some had reservations, they really do remind you of 5 year olds, no plan, no thought, no idea!! Apologies to the 5 year olds!!
