rock steady
happy xmas folks. hopefully you can all forget about football for a couple of days and focus on more important things. that's my plan anyway. and a quick message for the media: yes the venky's are the cancer. and our anger should be directed at them. it seems we will have to remove them to save our club. but that doesn't mean we have to shut up and support kean. even with the venky's madness, we would most likely not be going down if we had a decent manager. there isn't really anything to say about steve kean that hasn't already been said. you only have to look at his record. so we will still protest and chant for his removal. and to moyes/ferguson/coyle et al: just f##k off. 47er
Just a message to wish everyone a really happy Christmas and please don't let Mr Kean spoil it for you. Just been on Norad's track Santa website and Mr Claus is in India - how ironic. I'm going off line now to enjoy Christmas properly. Love to all Rovers fans. You were terrific yesterday Dawn, the face of the completely normal, family oriented Rovers fan! Well done! Merry Christmas to all except Weasel Kean! Kean expects transfer backing I don't and he'd waste it anyway.
John
"These aren't excuses, but they are facts and we are having to face an injury list that would cause grave concern for clubs with much bigger squads than ours. "However, we have to tough it out and get on with it - what else can we do? "We will piece a team together and arrange a game plan to suit what is clearly going to be a very difficult fixture." Stuart
"We will piece a team together and arrange a game plan to suit what is clearly going to be a very difficult fixture." WTF does that even mean? Ramblings of a man who has no idea what to do. The current injury crisis is yet another in a long line of excuses and he is milking it like crazy. And no-one has thought to ask why the players might be picking up these injuries. Fitness anyone?

47er
It means he realises we'll lose, probably heavily, and he wants to get the excuses for Desai in first. What sort of belief does this give our players going into the game? What chance do we have? How can our supporters possibly make up for this total lack of belief? Whether they roar or boo or both is irrelevant. Mark Hughes sent us into games like this but never were we defeated before kick-off.
bob fleming
Kean: "blah, blah, noise, blah, waffle, scratch, blah, lick, wibble" etc Stevie, you're prepared to meet the fans again after the last podcast you did (which escapes me, mainly because there hasn't been one) so let's have it at the police station with the old bill watching my every move, for health and safety reasons. Or live on Radio Lancs with the Army there. Fancy it? You can fetch Fergie, Moysey, and the rest of the Glasgi mafia if you like. All your mates. However, unfortunately, you're in the wrong job. Fergie will laugh his arse off, behind your back, this time next week. Kenny will just go home thinking about Jack and what the hell is going on, again he'll show sympathy, but my word, they'll love you for the easy points. They all do. 4 wins in 31 league games. Pathetic. Stevie lad, just tell it like it is. Blackburn doesn't do bullshit. That's why I love the place. Tell it like it is, else we'll keep coming at you. Why do you keep backing the owners? They're not backing you are they?
Savory
i'd love to know how he gets away with it and how he is still in a job.
USABlue
Can't even one journalist think to ask him why with all these injuries his most experienced defender who is fit has been sent on vacation.
roverandout
surely if we lose these next two games heavily then he will be binned, its a given we will lose them anyway but 2 hammerings will be enough to tip him over the edge, would put serious damage on our goal difference too. Torgeir
The journalism is shocking and weak nobody has the courage to ask this soft as s*** moron any moving and uncomfortable questions, i.e quizzing him as to why he has such a poor record, and how he inherited a top half side from big Sam and are rock bottom of the PL. Whoa! I actually thought the journalist in the video asked some good questions, but Kean is clever, I'll give him that. There are many issues that needs answering, but he did mention people outside Brockhall etc. and did say that people felt there was no real leadership at the club, as well as the meeting with the fans. The structure at Blackburn Rovers Football Club is defunct, we need owners who can take a hands on approach and steer the club back in the right direction. We probably will have to play in the Championship next season, but it's not too late to fix things - yet. Just get Venky's out. Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah everyone! mark1875
Steve Kean renegade on a meeting with the fans, yet he keeps boasting how he did a podcast with the protest organiser and using this in his favour! At the time he did the podcast there was a lot of people saying this interview done was weak and enough was not asked and kean got off lightly, at the time i understood that why Kamy was not hard enough! He wanted to build bridges between the site and kean, but what good came out of being soft? Anyone Rovers fan who get's close to Kean needs to ask the questions the journalists are too soft too ask!! The fan's meeting with Kean would have made him face questions he would never normally be made to answer! Yet he won't participate in the fan's meeting now! yet he will brag about how he once did the podcast, therefore that interview 'he once did' - we will always regret the fact it was too soft! it was soft for a reason, to build bridges? the bridges never were built but we will always be reminded of how he once got away lightly 'when he met the fans'. I am not having a go at Kamy himself because i understood his reasons at the time, however in hindsight that weak podcast is more hindering than helpful in my opinion, we gained nothing yet he lives off the fact he participated. That must really fill the players of confidence. He may as well say 'the rest of our squad is ######, so will lose, dont tell Rovers fabs but we are going to forfeit' As for Robbinson, it would take some darn good pain killers to stop that hurting, even then you will only make the tear bigger and still will not have full use
roversmum
Maybe someone needs to investigate exactly why our players are sustaining all these injuries. I appreciate that Dann and Givet's problems are most unusual the others are falling injured far too often. I wish I could have hope that the squad will be strengthened in January but unfortunately I don't. Sad days.
Torgeir
I think a public meeting in the new year should be part of the next stage of the campaign. Who cares about that meeting? They know what kind of questions are going to be asked and are trying their best to avoid them. The more we lose, the angrier fans will get. Venky's have proved themselves to be incapable of running a successful football club, their negligence and broken promises really should be the focus of the protests.
