  1. 1. Should Steve Kean be sacked

Just read the quote on BBC 'i'm sure if the fans stay with us, we'll finish in the top half'.

Firstly this is a lie. 18 games three wins doesnt get u top half! Secondly he has already started to blame the fans for the crap we watch!

Its actually 2 wins (and 6 draws, or 'positive results' as Kean calls them) in the last 18 league games ;)

Averaged out over a season its 25 points = relegation

Don't worry about Kean taking control. I have a clear idea in my mind how I want to approach this and how I want to go about making sure that Kean answers each and every question. I will give him a chance to put his view across but I will not let him "duck" any of the tough questions, and if needs be I will go back and press for answers if I feel that a question has not been adequtely answered.

The key thing for this type of interview is to be fully prepared and to do your research throughly so that you have virtually every scenario/situation covered, I have done this.

As Glenn said earlier, PR people maybe present but we are only doing this interview if it is open and honest, there is no point wasting time doing anything else because we won't get anywhere, an open and honest interview not only gives us a chance to ask questions on issues but also for Kean to respond to criticism/allegations.

Still waiting on confirmation from the club as to when the interview will take place.

This is a good move by the club and Kean but what would be an even better move by the club would be for you to interview someone from Venkys so they can tell us their vision for the future.

They have invited some of the players over and spoke to them about the plans but what about meeting the fans and doing the same ?

Or even better they could invite you and Glenn over to Pune to do a podcast !

What do you reckon Kamy ? Would you fancy a trip to Pune to do an interview ?

Good luck with the interview with Mr Kean.

Some tricks to get more information (sure you know most of em anyway lol) or distract little old Kean at the appropriate moments..

1- Supply the infamous truth drug.. Irish whisky works best and pretty sure he would not be averse to a shot or five

2- Have a rather attractive lass in the background.. the distraction works wonders if she bends over at appropriate moments (however make sure she is out of your own line of sight)

3- Stick any awkward questions under the banner of fans questions.. rather than your own (e.g. voted for question most wanted answering by fans), get you round the problems of any bad rep from Venkys

4- Sit with lighting behind you and in a raised position so he has to look up at you

Good luck anyway mate.. will this be a recorded one for the podcast or an article for the site?

I'd be very, very surprised if it happens.

However, I really hope it does and that you approach as above.

At the risk of being pedantic, it's two wins and seven draws out of the last eighteen PL games (since 01 Feb.).

I liked the way Martin Tyler got "just 2 wins out of the last 17 PL games" in on at least two occasions yesterday !!!

Precisely! Positive results! BS. I'd prefer us to lose than get draws. I can see Kean bullin Orient up to hierarchy so when/if we get a result they'll be happy! Ive never felt so let down!

People should not worry Kamy seems to have prepared properly and am convinced he will not leave any stone unturned he seems like a very knowledgeable & intelligent guy to suggest otherwise is short sighted and am convinced he will do an excellent job. Also Kamy John is quite right could we not have a Jez.Kyle lie detector to determine the truthfulness of his answers he will prob. fail miserably. Kamy can you ask him additional questions how does he think it looks in the eyes of the princes trust charity to be associated with a club whose manager has been convicted of drink driving? Does he feel bad about when he alleged his drink was spiked by a fan who pay his wages when there was no evidence to suggest his drink was spiked? The biggie if the worst happens and the club is relegated will he do the honourable thing & resign although he seems very positive that the club will be fine there is a chance given in the position we are it is still possible the worst could happen & would he do the right thing?. Kamy let us know when it will be going ahead thanks.

I can easily answer your questions for Kean, there not tough enough

1. You signed Myles Anderson, son of your Agent Jerome. Myles was released from Leyton Orient and subsequently played 3 mins for Aberdeen last season. “He could become something of a Chris Smalling” you were quoted as saying. When can Rovers fans expect to see Myles break through into the first team and would it be fair to assume that the first game of the season came a little too early for Myles in that we had to play Nzonzi at centre half?

We feel that Myles Anderson is a player with great potential as a late developer. If he continues with his current progression ,I'm sure you will see him pushing for a first team place soon.

2. Is there any truth to the rumour that the players are training for 1 hour a day?

No we train as hard as we ever have, the players really enjoy the training theres a great spirit and I think you could see the fitness levels in the Eveton game. A few player were still tired from International duty against Fulham, but they now have a chance to rest.

3. Are Kentaro still advising the club? Rumours suggest otherwise.

Althogh we have used advisers, the final say come down to the owners and I.

4. You mentioned last week that your trips to Pune would be becoming less frequent. Can you elaborate on that? Who are you reporting to? Who is the new “John Williams”? and why is there a need to fly out there when Video Conferencing could be used?

It was important to see the owners after the window, they have been fantaistic in backing me, and we discussed the players who were on the transfer list and I think the fans will agree, the squad is stronger then last year. :D

5. Given the results since you took over and the 1 point from 12 this season do you still stand by your claim that we’ll be in the Champions league in 3 or 4 years time? I ask because a Liverpool fan at work today said “Champions League in 3 or 4 years time? More like Championship before Christmas!” – but you know what those Liverpudlians are like, hilarious.

There is confusion here, we never said we would be CL in 3 or 4 years, we are aiming for European football and we don't believe this is unrealistic. If we can make a top 10 finish this season, which is achieveable dispite a slow start, then with the owners backing we hope to progress up the table. :D

6. Did you watch Petrovic, Formica, Rochina and Simon play live and in the flesh before signing them?

I have been following Petrovic and Simon for many years, they are fantastic players. We also have scouts who have been closely reporting on there progress.

7. What happened with the Raul transfer?

Raul wanted to come but he is not our player and his club were not willing to let him go.

8. How would you describe the mood at the football club? What did you think about all the comings and goings and from this angle, chaos, over the summer? (I’m referring to “back office” staff here – not playing staff).

we have a fantastic spirit about the club, and everybody is confident that we can turn it around. We are off and running. yes some deals didn't come off for various reasons, but if you look at the final day, we spent over 10 million

9. How’s Sam?

We have not spoken sorry

10. A poll on BRFCS and a YouGov poll (as published in the LT) shows that the number of fans who support you is very much in the minority. These are difficult times for Rovers fans, would there become a time when you would consider your position should results not improve?

I have not thought about this because I'm confident results will improve, I have the support of the players and the owners 100% and if the fans stay with us, i'm confident we will be climbing the table. :D

11. When is the next Sky 1 series of “An Idiot On Board” starting?

I don't watch that rubbish

To be honest Glenn I dont his interview will change the poll any bit! We are all aware of his blatant lies and ignorance and cockyness now so anything he says in the interview wont change that.

He isnt going to sell out the owners, he isnt going to sell out JA or Kentaro/SEM.

Waste of time imho, but its a great opportunity for Kamy!

I am still going to be wanting rid of the Klown

You're right Chris. Good predictable answers there. That's why I'm sat here doing my day job and Kamy does his! Only a few suggestions I cobbled together at short notice. You could ask follow up questions to the replies, which was the intention of course, but in the main, I have to agree with you, probably too easy for him.

I'll get me coat...

first off how about

Steve you have said a small majority of fans are frustrated, but we represent the largest Blackburn online community with fans not only from Blackburn but around the world and we have polled 90% in favour of a change of management, do you realised the mass upset is not the minority?

thats a tough question

Ah yes, but...

"I don't believe that's the case at all. Not according to the fans I speak to. How many people voted in the poll? Only 500? That's not a large number of fans. As I've said previously we, the fans, players, the owners, all of us, need to keep pulling together and I'm extremely confident that we'll soon shoot up the table" etc etc etc

"all due respect Steve, you have only spoken to two fans and one them was only telling you he was happy so the other one could spiking your drink."

But your right.

Its the same when Jason Roberts is attacked on the radio, its not always the first question it's having intelligent follow up question and knowing your stuff being able to counteract.

Good luck with the interview, Kamy. I hope you're able to throw him some curveballs, otherwise it'll be a typical Kean presser.

I agree that you're interviewing the wrong person. We need answers from the organ grinders, not the monkey.

Ask him at what point does he think his position would become untenable ? One point of 12 / 2 out of 20; 3 out of 30 ? If we are still bottom at Christmas ?

Is he still confident of being in the job even if we go down ?

If he says his job is safe even in the event of relegation I think I would tear up my season ticket in front of him and go home.

Stevie - ahead of the assistant manager appointment, you proudly highlighted that the appointment would make the football world sit up and take notice.

Once John Jensen was announced, it hardly caused any ruptures in the world, actually I don’t think anyone really cared - were you being serious with your original statement or perhaps were under the influence (again) when making it?

Kamy, will you be asking him about the drink driving charge? Or it is going to be exclusively football related?

I appreciate if you'd want to avoid asking him about that as I suppose it is in a sense personal... on the other hand I think a fair few people are uneasy over his apparent lies to the police and the questions this raises about his character as manager of the club.
