pedebumchin
Kean: "It's my fault" Tell us something we don't know Keano! How about why you still have a job despite making the 4th worst start to a Premier League season since the league actually started in the early 90s? The other 3 teams were all relegated, what a surprise...
Amo
Lip service in light of several newspapers sussing him out. He still can't resist hiding behind lady luck. I'm sure the Raos will sympathize.
perthblue02
Think considering the bad press he has got since the weekend seems like his J'll fix it has used up all his favours with the media , and financially the forthcoming transfer widow will not be profitable enough to keep the press on the side of his favourite employee client. So looks like Kean's on his own now , well apart from his Pune fan club
LeChuck
I heard Steve Bruce on the radio this morning accepting full responsibility for Sunderlands current position, I've no time for him normally, but he puts Keans stats nonsence in context really KEAN OUT Another difference in attitude as well: Bruce: I would leave if it helped Sunderland. Steve McClaren left Nottingham Forest without taking a penny from them earlier this season as well. Contrast this to Steve Kean's response on the Radio Lancashire phone-in when someone asked "would you resign if you continue to lose this many games Steve?". The question had barely finished before Kean defiantly blurted out "Never". He'll bleed us for every penny we have, even if it means destroying the club. Herbie6590
http://www.football365.com/mediawatch/7341175/Mediawatch Comical Steve Another day brings another example of Steve Kean's remarkable ability to look on the bright side. In Kean's world, not only is the glass half-full but someone is probably at the bar getting him another drink. Just don't get in your car afterwards, Steve. "Yes, definitely," said Kean when asked whether Blackburn can win the Carling Cup. "We've got a good tie and we're scoting goals on the road." Yes Steve, Blackburn are indeed scoring goals on the road - 11 in seven games to be precise. What Kean wasn't so quick to mention was that they've shipped 17 and are yet to win a single game away from Ewood Park. We look forward to Steve Kean pointing out that there are only 19 better teams in the Premier League.

Gav
Kean will eventually get sacked we all know that, and we all hope its sooner rather than later, but can you imagine the uproar should he return with another team? I’d certainly turn-out to welcome him off the bus, and I’d imagine plenty more would also. I’m considering removing the John Bond picture from my profile, because Kean is on the way to doing to us, what Sir John Bond did for burnley back in the early 80’s. The last time John Bond was scheduled to return to burnley, as manager of Shrewsbury, he was asked to stay away by the police, which he did. I don’t think that would happen with Kean, but the anger amongst the supporters would still be there I’d imagine, I'ts going to take a while for the anger to subside. First thing that the lying sack of rat crap has said that I believe. Difference is they are human and have some sense of moral responsibility, Kean is not and has none. den
Its very kind of you - but I don't think I will ever match your drivel ! According to the previous poster - he knew twelve months ago that Kean would take us into the Abyss - I wonder if this particular piece of soothsaying was before or after 4 wins in 7 matches in late 2010 - early 2011 ? There have always been flaws in his tactics - but at times it has appeared we were getting to grips with it - and then we reverted to type. Other people can see that - but I suppose I will just have to bow down to your greater football judgement. I guess that's a reply to one of my posts DMTP? It's hardly been a secret on here that I've never liked Kean as a manager or the way in which he "appeared" to get the job. Nor have I been swayed by the occassional decent performance. We are still a PL team, so it's not astonishing that we do well "occassionally" - even though it's usually against sides that are going through their own mini crisis at the time. This debate started when you said a couple of days ago that you had given Kean the Wigan game, but had now changed your mind and decided he should go. I said that in fact you had given him every game up to and including the Wigan game, and now it could be too late. That's the truth, so I don't know why you are getting annoyed when people say they knew which way the club was heading all those months ago. Sacking Sam and replacing him with a coach was a stupid gamble which many people were prepared to speak up about. Some people of course, including you I guess, backed him. We're now seeing that backing him all this time was wrong. We're on the brink and we might not/probably wont recover. .

His complete lack of integrity has damaged his reptuation too badly, not to mention the fact that he's an atrocious manager and a complete and utter loser. Jimmy612
Just been watching a youtube clip of various News reports following the Premier league winning season, and the celebrations and jubilation of the Rovers fans. I was only 5 at the time so I remember very little of it, bar the players walking around the pitch at Ewood the following evening. It just angers me more to think what is happening to our club. I play football every Saturday that Rovers don't play but I think this Saturday I will be playing myself instead of going to the Swansea game. Whats the point in going? We don't matter anymore, no-one is listening to us. Maybe i'm just being defeatist and should continue assisting in protests and sit-ins etc but I no longer feel the passion and love for BRFC that I have felt for my whole life. So many times I have been proud of Rovers. The league cup success, the evening of promotion at PNE, the FA cup semi-final at Old Trafford when we deserved so much more. Steve Kean, Venkys and Jerome Andersen have ruined one of the most important things in my life. I miss the feeling of ecstacy when we score a goal, I miss being excited to see Rovers play. I feel powerless
FourLaneBlue
Kean's references to Harry Redknapp, Andre Villas-Boas and John Terry is nothing more than Brentesque name-dropping. Embarrassing. It is trult cringeworthy. He is so desperate to portray himself as an actual manager by inserting random top football names into the conversation. Jock
'Harry says this and Harrys says that' Harry says alot of things and William Hills get mad lol. I cant remember a manger saying that their opposition were ###### and the manger should be sacked. Harry did say last season that he feared for Rovers after Venkys sacked Sam, but Bullshit Man never mentions that.
Emge
So, Steve Kean, you like stats, do you? Well, I'll give you some funfacts right here: - This time last year we had 18 points. Thats almost three times as much as we have now. Very strange isnt it, considering we're playing the best football we've played in years?? - You keep talking about how pleased you are with our away-form: During your 18 away games, you have only managed to win twice. Still, it sounds like you are very very pleased with the way we are "continuing to pick up points away from home". Well, good for you!
