  1. 1. Should Steve Kean be sacked

Recommended Posts

Ok, they are off.

Give me a second to put on my statistic specs....

Wait, it looks just as bad. Which specs are you wearing?

The "see it without bias" specs.

Please don't say the stats thing.

We all know when Kean brings out the stat's; he gets slated and gets called a muppet for picking at them.

So I expect the same treatment aimed at yourself by the ones who fire the bullets at Kean.

....You should of gone to specsavers

Because his stats are meaningless.

The fact he can't wn football matches is the ONLY thng that matters.

I have first hand knowledge of the paranoia at Ewood, if the officials find out they will put a stop to it.

Good on Kean for agreeing to it, but bear in mind that I have it on very good authority (a first team player) that Kean is pretty much game for anything as he's a nice bloke who would help anyone out. Whether you believe that or not is up to you, but him agreeing to this interview would suggest this is at least partly true.

Hmmm, I'll bet if you'd said that a first team player told you he was obnoxiously awful everyone would have believed you.

Arran,

I see your point, I really do.

But as everyone in the game says "it's all about results, it's a results game business" and looking at results alone he has to go.

His level is Championship at best, luckily for him we will be there NEXT season.

I know it's about results.

But I believe the results will come. As we have incredibly unlucky so far this season. Be it; penalties, ref decisions or injuries.

You will always always have that problem, but luck comes and goes.

We have a real problem with being able to play and concentrate for 90 odd mins.

That comes from good management.

The stat that we're 20th with one point is meaningless when you consider we're a win away from mid table.

Until that gap grows, then I believe he deserves more time.

What about the fact our performances haven't been THAT bad?

The fact that our players can't score penalties?

The fact we've had a poor Ref's decision gone against us?

The fact we've had injuries?

1) They are both valid and with the appointment of a competent manager we can quickly get up the table

2) THey have been bad, apart from the second half against Everton

3) One of those days in a game we should have won.

4) We have not been unfairly treated by refs, the Everton game he was as bad for both. Clutching at straws.

5) The amount of muscle injuries point to poor training and fitness levels.

arran, how can you blame luck? we had luck on sunday, we should have lost tha game, yet another deluded kean-lover.

I like how you call me deluded when I put my points across with well structured posts; whereas your posts generally just include "youre stupid, another Kean lover" never a counter argument or any substance.

Its like you've only just appeared on here because you're angry at Kean and are like the little kid in the corner agreeing with his mates "Isn't that right roverandout?" '"...er..yeh! KEAN OUT!!"

It's no wonder decent posters have stopped coming on here.

I blame luck because we've been all out of it recently.

Surely the fitness side of the team is down to the fitness coach?

I don't think luck came into it on Sunday. Fulham, even for all their possession only had roughly the same number of chances we had. I think you have to give some credit to our two center halves - Givet and Dann were superb in the second half - especially considering the lack of cover from midfield.

Luck? What does that even mean? This is top level sport!

As team manager the buck stops with him, be it results, tactcs, fitness- you know that arran.

its all a pipedream, these cowards dont have the balls to sack kean, they just want their little poodle that they can keep on a leish.

You can venky a lot of things but I don't think they are afraid to fire people. In business they will make hard decisions every day. If it is going to cost them money then they will fire him.

nice one, at least the board does say 90% want him out so we do know 10% want to give him time.. and in his eyes you are the majority.. sadly when I WENT to school they taught me majority meant the most not the least.. sadly he lies in court I DON'T expect him to be honest after not winning any games so far..

Does bad luck cover 9 months of relegation-form results?

No Andy, we've been through this.

You've even admitted to agreeing in general with me about it in a previous post about knee jerk reactions....

Hows life in your ivory tower?

This messageboard is not the majority of Rovers fans.

If you want to know if the majority or minority of rovers fans support the manager or are against him. Then I suggest you get a petition going down Ewood on Saturday and get more than 400 or so people to sign it.

Read back through my posts and it'll be clearer for you regarding my use of the term "luck"

Is 9 months of poor results and wanting a change, 'knee jerk'?

Jesus Christ. No.

It was regarding people booing and calling for Keans head at the end of the Everton match because we couldn't score 2 penalties.

The post then went on to say why IMO we were going through our worst run.

Knee-jerk reactions are like Everton fans criticising their club for having to repay their debts and not blowing a load of cash and adding to the debts of the club.

We've had 9 months of relegation football - look at the results.

You make your own luck in football. Look at the goals we have conceeded this season - how many have been unlucky? The pen against Everton is the only possible. The rest is bad defending - bad organisation IMO.
