In 13 of the last 18 matches we have conceded 2 or more goals. Of those 13 games, on 7 occasions we have conceded 3 and conceded 4 once.

I know its essentially the same thing, but what worries me is we have to score 4 goals to win a match. Even when we've bagged 3 its not enough. And to think how pleased i was when Scott Dann arrived. On paper i honestly felt we had one of the best back fours outside the top 5 or 6 clubs.

To be fair, we haven't had a settled back 4 all season. I think until last week Newcastle had played the same back 4 all year whereas we have used the below players:-

Olsson,

Givet,

Dann,

Samba,

Hanley,

Henley,

Lowe,

Salgado,

N'Zonzi,

Aley (If I am not mistaken)

Nelsen,

The true Rovers crisis is in the totally incompetent ownership.

That is where the heat has to be directed now.

Whilst I agree, doesn't this run the risk of making it appear as though we support Kean?

How disrespectful is keans statement to the teams we are playing as well. He's basically saying they aren't very good so we'll pick up points easily.

Probably just wrote the team talk for our opponents for the next 3 games!!

He did the same with the Blackpool home game last season. In his pre-match presser he basically said the match was a banker. T0sser!

Roberts has just been on SSN giving it the keano big one,we've turned the corner,it's too early to judge us blah blah blah. His Keano cockle sucking is beyond despair. Also did anyone see what he was wearing??? He looked like an extra from a Hovis advert!

Was that recorded with a toaster?

No an iron mate ;)

Interesting on SKY they found the Kean supporters which no-one else can find.... Wonder how many of these are known to people on here? I also wonder how many took up the clubs request from a few weeks ago when employee's were asked to speak to the media and get their friends and family to do likewise?

Goebbels would be proud of the propaganda machine they have at ewood. Spin spin, cover up after cover up challenging and changing fans/media ideologies. When will this utter dross stop?

Interesting question Glen, I wonder if you are hinting at a link between your first point and your question... hmm.

There's more anti Kean by fair but there are still Kean supporters in real life, 2 sit behind me at Ewood. And another 2 to the side one of which I think Stu was having cross words with on Saturday.

The club are coming out with a lot of spin for sure but there's also a fair bit coming the other way.

to coin a phrase from gandalf, there never was much hope, just a fool's hope.

im beginning to lose interest altogether in rovers now, while im typing this i just have an empty feeling in the pit of my stomach, kean has broken us all. as i have said many times, i willl never support him, ever. i, as im sure along with all of you dont know where to turn next, we have tried and tried to show those ignorant baskets in india that sacking him would be the best thing for the club and time after time it has fallen on deaf ears. one win doesnt change a damn thing, we had this when we beat arsenal way back and then couldnt record another league win until saturday, i feel as though this isnt our club anymore, those dirtbags in pune couldnt give a ###### about our opinions, i cant wait for the day when they and their evil puppet have long since gone from our club and their memory is but a distant and unwanted blip.

Sadly I feel the same. Desperately wanted either a change of manager or owner, better still both. Have supported the protests and been on the internet every spare moment to keep up to date. Am now going to let go and concentrate on other things or it will drag me down.

You have captured how many, many supporters feel.

I am sorely tempted to say 'sod it, just leave them to it, they will reap what they sow'.

Unfortunately, IMO, I think there is much huffing and puffing with a number of senior Ewood employees and players but they do not seem inclined to put their balls on the block.

Sad, sad times.

Totally amazed at the vitriol of the press after the weekend.

Protesting has got the back of the press up it seems, but what a swing from last week when Kean was hanging by a thread - some of the stuff they said about him then...

If 99% of the supporters sit on their hands for the next three games and no points (or even just a few) are gained we're down, done, sunk!

Press alienating the fans is nothing new, but I've never seen it this bad for other clubs - maybe they want Kean to stay to oversee the inevitable car crash our relegation will be? Could be a good story...

As for the players, they're never going to realistically throw games are they? Even (over?) highly paid, professionals that they are, they're going to have some pride, I have seen many companies who ride on the shoulders of their employees for years supporting dead weight that settles in positions of power.

I'm numb, I take no pleasure in being a fan of a club that's like this. In spite of the press assertion that we had it good under Jack, it remained good, just poorly funded, under the trust. I have read on here recently that if we'd stuck with the trust and just had a little money....

Sadly the Qatar bid is the Golden Egg laying Goose that we really deserved, where were they a year ago? Instead it only serves to remind us of what could have been.

I feel genuine sorrow for locals, I find that developments of late are making me angry, depressed and short-tempered, and I'm at the other end of the country, I can't begin to imagine what being near to the club must be like.

Don't really know where this is going, but this club has become a rudderless ship, and I can't really justify promoting the time to hoping any more. I really hope we don't get relegated this season, but unless changes start soon it's going to happen isn't it?

Wonder if Kean will ever take responsibility?

So we're basically going to have to lose atleast 2 more games before he goes. Which we will.

Don't kid yourself, Venky's won't sack him.

And in my opinion it's nothing to do with loyalty and everything to do with not wanting to pay compensation and employ a manager on PL wages. There's no other reason for it.

It's unbelievably depressing. You either spend your time speaking to other like minded supporters, sharing depressing views or you end up taking stick from people who think Kean will get us out of his self made hole. Such head in the sand stuff, and usually from people who don't even pay into the club. "I saw them on MOTD and they were bloody unlucky."

It's sad that if you're anti-Kean you're automatically a "protester who is getting the club relegated." No idea why there's still some fans who support Kean and Venky's. They can't seem to separate the club and the owners/manager and think they're one and the same.

You can't support one without supporting the others apparently.

How many times do we think Kean has said the following since taking over as manager - the owners and players are fully behind me.

Win, lose or draw, we hear the same tripe on a weekly basis - he is a novice learning his trade and talks as if he knows what he is doing. His stats as manager are still shocking and he should never ever have got the job in the first place.

Zzzzzz

I dont understand why having the players behing him is such a good thing.

Harford was very popular with the players, so too was Kidd, Souness used to fight with them - who was the better manager? Look at Alex Ferguson, do you think all the players love him? Clearly they dont, and when they choose to speak out Fergie they are out of there sharpish. Roberts best scoring form at Ewood was when he wasnt on speaking terms with Allardyce.

Managers are rated on one thing only - results - and that is something Kean cannot defend himself on. He's taken a improving mid-table team into relegation fodder in less than 12 months.

Lets not forget - if you are pro-Kean - you are automatically labeled by the anti-Keaner's as being pro-Kean and who is getting the club relegated - the argument does cut both ways.

Personally I think he is doing a great job - we already have two wins this season - and against all the odds he is still able to put out a team that can't defend - even with two good central defenders in Samba and Dann.

I think we have to start respecting that there are different points of view - only time will tell who is right - personally I fear for the club. Even if we get out of this hole - with Kean at the helm the fan base will probably remain divided and potentially with far fewer fans - unless he delivers on his top ten finish - which in itself would actually be worthy of praise - he would also be a good bet to pick the next lottery numbers as well !
