Any chance you can go on Talkshite and call Collymore? Was just out droppping my lad off at his mums so i had it on the radio. 2 or 3 fans came on bigging up the slimy snake. The last caller even said he was doing a great job. Words fail me...

I can't understand how anyone can defend Kean, hes record speaks for itself and 1 win does not suddenly make his a tactical genius.

he's been in charge for 35 league games, won 7, drawn 11 lost 17. This season, our first win was Arsenal, it then took another 8 games for us to record another, it took 5 games to get the win against Arsenal.

Last season it took 12 games to record a win between the West brom game and Bolton game, granted you could say he won 4 in 8 games when he first took over and 2 at the end of the season however the common pattern is we will go on yet another winless streak, question is how long.

With regards to the media, I have seen a few articles implying we should stop complaining as we are only here from Jacks money, If that is the case how come that since our return to the PL (after Jacks death) we have had 4 trips into europe, 5 top 10 finishes and several semi final cup apperences (even winning one) Yes Jack did provide the basis for winning the league and gaining promotion again, but since cash has been scarce, yet the club has still performed very well.

That was pre Kean and Venkys. Before that all fans knew that we would be getting the likes a Benjani on a free transfer and every now and then finding a gem such as Samba. Now all we get is false hopes on Raul, Ronaldiniho or Beckham and in actual fact signing Miles or Ribero (not all have been as bad)

Kean has lied over and over, even under oath in a court of law, tried and succeeded to split the fans, Venkys are not much better either.

Kean has not suddenly becomea better manager, we have not suddenly turned a corner and we certainly are not out of the woods yet.

Collymore is seriously weird in his view of Kean - he thinks Kean can go on and be one of the leagues great managers and we should be grateful to have him - he is pretty adamant in his view too....

STAN COLLYMORE THE SAME BLOKE WHO BEAT ULRIKA JOHNSEN IN PARIS AND GOT CAUGHT DOGGING PON CANNOCK CHASE - GOOD BLOKE THAT STAN ( WHAT A TOSSER )

 Stan the Man, whatta guy. I remember he wrote a regular column in one of the sunday papers which amounted to about half a paragraph and never said anything interesting or insightful. Not sure if he does it anymore. Regardless, I'll just put his opinion over in the 'could not care less' pile if that's okay with everyone.

Collymore is a numpty. He tries to be clever and sometimes it bites him in the buttocks. He once said "...the ridiculum of the situation" during a sentence, instead of just keeping it simple and saying that the situation was ridiculous. Alot of ex pro's haven't got the brains to pick up on what's really going on with the manager and the owners. It's mainly the journo's who do.

Still has one in The Sunday People I think, along with Talksport a platform for his verbal diarrhoea.

Lets not forget - if you are pro-Kean - you are automatically labeled by the anti-Keaner's as being pro-Kean and who is getting the club relegated - the argument does cut both ways.

What horrible anti-keaners! They are saying that those who are pro-kean are, shock horror!, pro-kean?

Errr..did that make more sense before you typed it up?

I see the press have fallen out with us again. Well we did have week of a bit of realisation, we can't ask for anymore can we? These people who are nailing us dnd loving Kean have literally no idea of what we have had to endure. They think that Kean kept us up, we know differently. I'm damn sure they don't read the local rag and see what hd comes up with on a daily basis either. The whole situation stinks and I'm really beginning not to care anymore. The media hate us, as do most pundits. Maybe we should just bend over at let these parasites finish us off eh? I've no energy left for the fight to be honest, it's getting us nowhere.

Sadly I feel the same. Desperately wanted either a change of manager or owner, better still both. Have supported the protests and been on the internet every spare moment to keep up to date. Am now going to let go and concentrate on other things or it will drag me down.

Yep--you've said it for me. Sick of getting excited "Is it today that the creep gets his comeuppance?"

Race onto the site and............nothing.

So we are all getting disheartened and fed up of it and Venkys and Kean get their way.

However I think they'll find they don't get our money!

The poll takes a dramatic swing as the latest release from the mental health clinic casts his vote.

There's 5 of them now. What's going on? Someone needs to notify the authorities.

Amazing what a difference 1 win makes to some of these people.

I wouldn't get too hung up about it. One of them is undoubtedly a dingle, another is called Wakko appropriately and the other is the WUM Braddock, who has a picture of Desai as his Avatar. Something akin to my joining the England fans website and choosing Mel Gibson in Braveheart as mine.

That win seems to have turned over more rocks than Vesuvius.

If you judge the manager on nothing else but his record then I honestly don't see how a reasonable person can say he deserves anything save the sack. One of the usually excellent Guardian podcasters was claiming that he didn't 'get' what all the fuss was about. Kean 'needs more time' apparently. Listen here and post your comments.

Found this on the BBC blog I linked to earlier. It seems to be fairly representative of that section of the support who can still stick Kean and plainly don't like the protesters.

At 17:32 5th Dec 2011, Brummie_Rover wrote:

The Trouble that all Rovers fans seem to have is that we all constantly go on about Jack Walker, let the man rest in peace. His name gets mentioned more now than it ever did when he was alive. Yes he was a great man, and he did wonderful things for our club, but the man is dead. Move on.

His kids ended up hating our club, because he was so passionate about the Rovers. The rot began there. When Jack passed on, they succeeded him at the helm and did what they had to do by virtue of the trust Jack had bound them to. They sold at the first instance.

We've been relegated before and come back up (funnily enough under the Walkers Trust), just because we've started our season off badly does not mean its the end of the world. The football we are playing now is as exciting as when we won the title, maybe not as pretty, but definitely as exciting. Last season our leading goalscorer netted 5 (five) times, Yakubu is already on double that and we are the sixth highest goalscorers in the Prem.

Our weakness is our defence, which some of you have quite rightly pointed out was our strongest point under Big Sam, and some have pointed out our weak defensive unit. I say what Unit? At no stage this season have we had our strongest defence on the field. Many teams suffer injuries, but very few suffer the total annhialation of the strongest part. For God's Sake we've had an england U21 midfielder playing RB for a good part of the season.

Booing and protesting at this stage of the season are small minded, booing before a game tells our opponents that we expect them to turn us over, booing at a goal being scored/the celebration of it are pathetic, and if that is the conduct you want at your club then I suggest you go and Support FC Blackburn, because there's an ever growing number who don't want you at our club.

does anybody know how today Board Meeting has gone? was any of the Venky's family there? Has the transfer budget be set for January? (we need at 3 signings at least depending on whether Samba or Hoilett leave maybe more)

I imagine a round of platitudes, celebrations, and general revelry, then after about an hour a lot of neck scratching and hunting around on the carpet for potential lost pieces of rock.
