  1. 1. Should Steve Kean be sacked

Recommended Posts

So we really are stuck with him then. They won't sack him now, not that I really allowed myself to get my hopes up, and we will lose to Sunderland and wba then to Bolton who are so awful they will definitely win at Ewood, and it will be too late for even a miracle worker to save us. Good job I went to watch the youth Cup tonight and saw a Rovers team win 8-0 even if against non-league opposition.

does anybody know how today Board Meeting has gone? was any of the Venky's family there? Has the transfer budget be set for January? (we need at 3 signings at least depending on whether Samba or Hoilett leave maybe more)

nope, bit strange that there hasn`t been any noise from Kamy, Makey, Zac or some of the other chaps that none bits and bobs. Although, if he was getting potted i`m sure we would have heard something by now :angry2:

probably more ###### and brown nosing going on whilst tucking in to the colonels finest chicken zinger tower meals and patting one another on the back for 3 points and apparent turning of the corner en route to a top ten finish

I just can't believe some of what he spouts, most of these journalist are must be backing him because they know he will gibber some nonsense that will give him an easy story.

Top 10 finish....

I sometimes think both he and the Raos have been mesmorised, its like the bloody indian rope trick, except with Kean, the rope is not solid and he keeps falling off, pity the stupid woman who knows nothing about football, cant be arsed to come to a game, also falls off, into oblivion, god she is a very foolish woman!!

Its the comments sections on all these websites we need to flood with facts. We need to shame the lazy journalists into reporting the truth and not just the spiel from Kean.

The more of us doing this, and the earlier after these articles go online the better.

Kean is happy to use the media in his favour, lets help turn that back on him.

Goebbels would be proud of the propaganda machine they have at ewood. Spin spin, cover up after cover up challenging and changing fans/media ideologies. When will this utter dross stop?

It'll only stop if we capitulate and submit to the ideology of the Venkys-Kean-Anderson axis, which I'll never do.

Even if we do get the go ahead what the hell will £10 million buy us BEFORE the likes of Hoillet, Samba et al depart?

Considering 8 million of that will end up in Anderson's pocket - Feck All.

If the Raos are so "personally wealthy" why don't they throw some of their own money at transfers instead of relying on the bank, then?

I suspect they are 'personally wealthy' because they are more inclined to draw profit out of businesses than put capital in.

The suggestion that Barclays are getting jumpy again is a bit concerning given the collateral that the Club has already put up. Who knows, maybe they are onto these seemingly dodgy deals with large sums of their cash being syphoned to a certain agent in the background?

So why buy a PL club which is destined to do nothing but drain finances?

I dont get it. How can the Barclays run how things are done at Ewood? And how is it possible for them to come and say that a loan taken from them suddenly have to be payed up? As long as the club is able to pay interests and payments I cant see how a bank can jump in and take more than what the loan agreement would say. You would think a bank that loans out money to football clubs would take a relegation into the risk analysis before loaning out the money.

Its not like we are bankrupt and in administration, are we?

Could someone please clear this up for me, as I don't know a great deal about property or living costs outside of Europe - I'm led to believe that you can live like kings in India for amounts of money that wouldn't go too far in say London, Paris, Berlin, etc? Can anyone clarify? If so, the riches that were so obviously displayed to the visitors in Pune would be very misleading.

Would agree that the Club would be a drain if the long-term plan was to sustain/subsidise us in the PL over the long term but such a plan just isn't compatible with keeping coco at the helm, etc.

I know that it has been reported that they have previously put some personal money in the club but it would be really interesting to see full accounts providing audit trails, etc, so that a clear picture could be gleaned of whether they have an overall net surplus or deficit.

Some of the deals, particularly Riberio on a 3 year contract with seemingly no hope of ever getting into the first team, just do not sit right with me and my suspicion is that there is some sophisticated cash syphoning going on via a certain agent. Just my suspicion of course but would you put it past them?

Kean is delusional. A home win over a newly promoted team without an away win (and that only secured in the last 10 minutes) and he fantasies about a top 10 finish. Only the idiots in Pune beleive him. Now he finds the midfield needs reinforcement - having brought in Petrovic, probably the worst player Rovers have paid money for in the last 20 years. A defeat at Sunderland will put clear water between Rovers and safety.

this may sound a little far fetched but has anyone ever wondered whether the whole bank situation is just being created to cover over a lack of investment.

I could believe absolutely anything about 'circus de ewood' at the moment

If it was just the first time that Barclays were being mentioned then maybe, but Barclays have been unhappy with the situation at Rovers for some time.

I fully understand why they are concerned, the club for some bizarre reason continue to keep a manager in a job that is going to relegate the club. They are not mugs, they know that they won't get all their money back when (not if) Rovers are relegated.
