davulsukur
In all likelyhood, its too late now anyway. Can't see another manager coming in and saving us now. How can the owners still support him? Absolute disgrace. I hope they are making plans for life in the championship. Because relegation is almost certain. paullarrygher
A few people are saying the timing of his sacking isn't great but in a way I think it is. Any manager comes in with two "no pressure games" against Liverpool/Man Utd away. Even with Hughes, Big Sam or Souey on their best days we'd rarely get more than 2 points from those games. But more importantly the manager has time to up the fitness of the team, sort out organisation and give them some awareness of tactics (sure after a year of Kean some players will be unaware of their existence)etc. I was at Fighting Talk Live today and it's always good once it goes off air as the panel/Colin Murray turn the air blue and let out some inside gossip. Murray mentioned he was presenting some North West football awards recently and we had won some community award. Venkatesh had sent a video with which to accept the award in which he claimed Venky's were "very proud to own an English Premium Club". John Rawling, Steve Bunce and Colin Murray also said that a rumour doing the rounds of journalist was that Venky's were unaware of relegation when purchasing the club. A rumour, but very believable! martonrover
Mark__Bright Mark Bright Steve Kean just said the Owners are fully behind him, he won't quit, he's a fighter, he & team will be in tomorrow to prepare for Bolton. 1 minute ago Favorite Retweet Reply https://twitter.com/#!/Mark__Bright I'm sick to death of him saying the owners are behind him, it's tantamount to him taunting the fans by boasting we are stuck with him. Glad i was driving a train rather than watching today. Sadly, it's true, though. Apart from his PR buddies, no one else supports him but our beloved owners. Oh, and maybe Mrs. Kean. Jarvefromossy
I thought he looked like a man on his last legs in the sky interview - normally I would feel sympathy for anyone who looked that deflated & close to crying but not Kean. Time to go for the Sottish chancer, never to be seen managing a club again (Burnley excepted)!

SIMON GARNERS 194
SATAN has nothing on this fella. A truly awful record, hated and despised by the fans but seemingly untouchable by us mere mortals..... You tell me??

Audax
Blackburn fans won the lottery of a crummy situation to use delicate language, I can't think of any situation that has ever been this shoddy. If a manager wasn't doing a job, they walked, Sven, McClaren, Bruce. This is kind of surreal. The performances are poor overall, vs. Swansea was okay. Mercer
One of my pals, a bookie, was at today's match and had a couple of bevies in the corporate facilities afterwards. In his opinion, Kean will not be in charge on Tuesday. He's a nose that can smell a dripping drain in the middle of Boots' Perfumery, so there is some hope !!! Audax
The Geordies did hate Mike Ashley but they at least got some competent management in there, first with Kinnear and then Shearer, if Kinnear had not had heart problems, Newcastle would have stayed up 2-3 years ago when they went down, think they went down by only about a point. Okay, Alan S. may not be a great manager but it was a move to please the fans, not to tell them to go to h-e-double hockey sticks. Newcastle did not have many options. 2008-2009 (Hull City 35 stayed up) All went down: * Newcastle 34 * Middlesbrough 32 * West Brom 32 One of my pals, a bookie, was at today's match and had a couple of bevies in the corporate facilities afterwards. Great post, I loved the Columbo show, sounds like something he'd say, I always associate avatars with the way a person speaks so, maybe some day, I'll get something creative for one. sjsbrfc
Dear Santa, I've been a good boy this year and I only want one thing for Christmas. Please could you make sure Steve Kean gets the sack and never steps foot in Ewood Park again. Thank you. Simon (age 44 and 3/4)
glen9mullan
There is little point sulking, I have come away from Ewood today whilst an unorganised protest of 200-300 people have assembled outside the Jack Walker stand to vent their anger and frustration. Was YOU there?? If the answer is no you have shown how much you care

I understand you want him out, but every week you spin a yarn like this, give it a rest for once. Your bookies predictions have not even been close to accurate on Steve Kean, your taking the ###### in my opinion.

Mercer
Come on mercer, I must have read this from you about 10 times this season alone. My bookie has more money than me so therefore he must know his onions and his antenna must be pretty sharp. All I've said previously is that at certain points, he's closed his book. He manages 'risks' extremely well and WOULD NOT take a bet on Kean being in charge for Tuesday !! Read into that what you will.
