  1. 1. Should Steve Kean be sacked

Recommended Posts

Okeyy...I wrote a controversial post about my feelings for Mr Steve Genious Kean...

Ive got a few beers under my belt, and my emotions ran high....the post got deleted, maybe that was a good thing.

But I gotta say, my feelings for Kean have never been stronger...I really cant despise that guy, and what is happening to the club now is just truely so heartbreaking...

And Kean seems to actually think the club is heading for the right direction. What a deluded little snake he is, MY GOD!! He is a disgrace!!

WHY do we deserve this??

Is there anything we can do at all or are we doomed?

Im just feeling SO depressed right now...this is just a f***** nightmare :(

Any other team Kean would of gone, however when Sunderland got rid of abuse it took two matches and the whole stadium, there lies the difference

Glen as you say in any other team Kean would have gone.

In the case of Sunderland they are run by an American who knows what the premier league and English football culture is about having lived in the UK for the last 14 years. He knows what relegation means, the protests may have helped but I bet he had already made up his mind and was securing MON services before pressing the sack button.

In our case we have owners living thousnds of miles away who do not know English culture or the premier league. Plus for the last 12 months all they have listened to was Keans propoganda.

I do not think that if we had 20000 people protesting for the last 2 months it would have made any difference.

The real problem is that the club is so broken if they ever sack Kean they will have no idea what to do.

Not that different at all IMO, same as today really, spontaeneous protesting during the game.

I'm sure the whole stadium didn't protest after the games at Sunderland and I would bet the same percentage of fans were chanting Kean out at games than chanted for Bruce out.

With the next game so close sacking Kean before would surprise me, as not too sure who would stand in until a replacement is found, as not sure if clement has ever been an assistant before he came here, so to go from coach to Manager on caretaker basis would be similar to how Kean was promoted.

Hoping tomorrow is a better day as I'm emotionally drained to day, I expected 3 points, thought a point would be bad, but never at one point this week did I ever think Rovers would lose this game. It never ever crossed my mind, so with that in mind I can understand why I have got a little worked up this evening.

Yep even in the dire position we are in i'm still in SHOCK

We are well and truely doomed by now. Venkys doesnt have a clue! And anyone who claims to know they've got the impression that they actually care about the club, Im sorry, you are dead wrong my friend!

Venkys wont sack Kean and even if they did they would be clueless about what to do next. They would probably hire a terrible replacement and it would really change anything.

Can anyone please say some comforting words now? Are there ANY positives about being a Blackburn Rovers-fan these days?

Pleeeeaaase, anyone?????

Shame that courtesy doesn't often extend to those that tried to make a difference by talking direct to the owners in India.

Sorry Tom but why should that be the case when there's been no minuted account of any meeting, no report of the visit...no (Please don't use that word again) all.

In fact, all there has been is what we did say, followed by a host of disappointed follow up statements, mainly on here but not as a damning press release.

All on a gratis jolly as well.

Is it any wonder?

Grant I thought did a decent job at Chelsea. Also had a decent job at Portsmouth but struggled due to the problems they had.

However at West Ham his spell there was painful.

Souness's last season here wasn't very inspiring, though I'd prefer him over Kean any day.

Dave Jones, no thank you.

Ancelotti or Hughes for me. But I doubt either would come.

Avram Grant makes Eeyore look charismatic. Souness was past it 10 years ago, he would fall out with everyone and sign ###### like Grabbi, Matteo and Amoruso. It has to be Sparky, he would get them fit, organise the defence and pick up quality on a shoestring. In short, the only one who would keep us up.

if they sack the worst premier league manager ever (kean) and replace him with the second worst manager ever (avram grant) then im going to cry. I will welcome anyone else but grant. Even di canio as one guy mentioned in another thread. we are truly desperate when even a self proclaimed fascist is considered an improvement

And Grant's record and experience dwarfs Keans.

As does Dave Jones record.

Says a lot!

my first pick would be mark hughes / benitez maybe even ancelotti. Benitez did make some strange purchases in liverpool and it would be interesting tosee what he would do with less cash. Ancelotti i dont think will come.

Second pick would be someone like souness or similar till the end of the season. Then sign solskjær. I truly believe Solskjær is one of the biggest manager talents in the world. The things hes doing in Molde impresses me. Not as much the thing on the field as the things off the field. He's bringing a whole new level of professionalism into the club, think he could do wonders in a small club like rovers.
