  1. 1. Should Steve Kean be sacked

To be perfectly honest, in all this the way Venky's have treated Kean has been a disgrace.

They know he is not up to it, they know he is having to put up with horrendous levels of abuse and they know that he must be close to cracking up under all the pressure. They know that the only humane course of action is to put him out of his misery and sack him. He can't resign as he has been handed the best contract he will ever receive in his life.

Will the Venky's put him out of his misery? This is a family who lives off the slaughter of living creatures. What do they care about acting with dignity? Their entire performance as owners of Rovers has been shameful.

I'm actually feeling that Kean himself has turned into yet another victim of Venky's and the greed of Jerome Anderson. Kean takes the heat of Venky's and Anderson continues to represent a man clearly out of his depth, and clearly suffering from an intolerable situation.

BRFC 2011 - run by a thoroughly detestable bunch of people.

+1 Fully agree with all that. But for everyone's sake he needs to go; not least for Kean himself and for restoring the reputation of this great club that we all love.

Let's not forget that he brought his son to a recent press conference when he knew he'd be faced with questions about fan discontent etc.

Anyway, I've given up hoping he'll be sacked, and I implore everyone else to do the same. At any other club, he'd have been booted ages ago, hell, he wouldn't have been hired in the first place. Unfortunately, Rovers are being run by an absolute circus. I expect Kean to be here right to the bitter end.

I've accepted relegation. I can't, in all honesty accept that Kean will be here till the end of the season.

Problem we have as fans is that all the media and other clubs fans see is that deer in the headlights Scottish bloke being 'honourable in the face of disgraceful abuse'.

They don't care about the lies, the convictions, the deceit, the BS, the way he got the job, his agent, his record (I mean its BRFC, they have always been s***, aint they?)

This is going to drag on and on and it will be US that gets more and more of a kicking.

Scandelous deriliction of duty by the 'owners'.

So upsetting to see Parkes clearly moved by whats going on at the club. Seems to know things that we don't too, the hint at the fact that Kean will be here for a while, says everything.

If Parkes knows of some very dark happenings at the club then what is there to stop him leaking these, or anyone else for that matter,Williams,Alardyce?

A decent human being would have resigned by now out of shame both at his own personal failure and in the wider interests of the club.

Kean does not deserve any sympathy, none whatsoever. And fans should not care if the abuse hurts him because he has brought this on himself through sheer incompetence.

He is a conman, delusional and a liar. He is an embarrassment to my club and is dividing supporters some of more than 50 years' standing who are refusing to go near Ewood again while he and Venky's are in charge.

The past 12 months have caused more damage to Rovers than any period in my lifetime - and there have plenty of lows over the years.

All Steve Kean thinks about is Steve Kean - not the wellbeing of the club or the feelings of supporters. He and Venky's are slowing killing my club - and I hate them for it.

Too right he's a conman. While the camera pans on him looking gutted amidst all that abuse and some of the nation look on and feel sorry for him, they don't know that all that is goin through his mind is a little voice saying "million pound pay off, million pound pay off"

it is very obvious to some the Kean is deluded I think Cryers might give hi a rough ride.

whats amazing is no matter what happens he will always have an excuse and he somehow will always treat the fans like idiots and press, often enough the press let it be.

I noticed on the Sun interview, the question came up "when are you going to stop using excuses" and Kean's answer "I keep using this excuse until I have a fit back four"

simple, always an excuse, always a lie.

I've had SSN on since this morning :angry2: The sense of anticipation that I felt earlier has faded and I'm now finding it intensely irritating. I'm guessing that this anger will only grow into a crescendo for all of us around KO on Boxing Day. Venkys your lack of action is despicable.

yet in a recent Q&A with the let he says that he doesn't make excuses :-\ he can't even keep up with his own lies, surely the press is going to catch on at some point!

Saggy Chops Wades In

I'm getting sick to death of opposition managers defending Kean. It must be the LMA code or something, together with the fact that they will want their 3 points when the face us.

Almost as horrific as your tax bill Harry.....oh wait.

Tell you what, pay up like the rest of us or shut your pie hole you droopy lookalike ******.

if he is not gone by the end of the day, he won't go. Too late now anyway he should of gone ages ago. Thanks Kean and Venkys for destroying our club!!

Nicko seems to think the decision has been made, but they want someone in place before they let him go. Andy Cryer also said it was imminent.

I get the impression his replacement in the key.

you for real.. ?? i see your in glasgow! you must be related!

compassion!

youre just jumping on the band wagon of condeming rovers fans!

How do you work that out then? I'm as big a critic of Kean as there is, particularly due to the fact that I make the 400 mile round trip from HIS (not my) home city to watch the dross that he has served up and listen to the bull that he spouts. I haven't condemned any Rovers fans and believe me I am very much for real. Its posters like you, who don't actually read what people have written, that give us a bad name and actually put people off coming onto this forum.

Redknapp and Coyle could probably imagine themselves suffering a similar barrage to what was meted out to Kean last night, which is why they've spoken out, as well as them not being armed with the full facts. Simple human compassion and feeling uncomfortable with the level of abuse, not support for Kean, there's a world of difference.

PS - yes everyone in Glasgow is related to each other, dearie me!!

Put your brain into gear before you commit to your keyboard eh?

The loons in Pune having their dinner right now, likely without a care in the world.

Are Kamy, Nicko or any other journos tweeting anything? Surely the meeting finished ages ago, so has anyone found out any info?

Edit: Sorry T4E you got there before me.

I DON'T CARE IF THEY HAVEN'T GOT A REPLACEMENT YET! GET HIM OUT!! NOW!!!

theres a reason he looked as smug as ever in the post match interview.... he knows hes going nowhere.

Not so sure about that. Cryer and Nixon have made a big splash about how Kean is on his way. Those two, esp Cryer, wouldn't have made a big splash about it if they weren't sure
