Mr. E
This marvelous individual is going to walk away a fat and happy millionaire, while our club, one of the proudest and most respected in English football, burns to the ground and is sent tumbling down the divisions. Two decades of hard work built on Jack's legacy squashed and stamped on. There is your "human being."
modes98
Northern_rover or Kamy is it.....He tweeted earlier that Bruce was interested in the job. I think Bruce would take anything. I'm not sure he would be the answer but at least he is a step up from slaphead
Makey11
Not so sure about that. Cryer and Nixon have made a big splash about how Kean is on his way. Those two, esp Cryer, wouldn't have made a big splash about it if they weren't sure they also were adamant we were signing portugese jorge ribiero in summer and not the brazilain tool bruno i told everyone about... Look id love to be proved wrong, but i cant see it. Can they afford to pay his compo alone? what do you think?
novella
Did Kamy speak directly with Bruce? Or to his agent....? Not Sure it just says: @northern_rover "If Kean is sacked then Steve Bruce is deffo interested in taking the job. No morals after the way he criticised Venky's after Sam sacking" He's usually pretty reliable isnt he.

Look id love to be proved wrong, but i cant see it. Can they afford to pay his compo alone? what do you think? True, but that was about a little know player that no-one cared about. Doubt they would have gone all out to check that story. This is a massive story and I'm sure they've double and triple checked this story. But we shall see. Have to say, I was more angry about Venkys giving Kean a new contract than I was about Rovers' inept performance last night.
Hughesy
Suggestions the meeting is at 4pm. Also we usually get rovers.co.uk updates at 6pm so fingers crossed

No evidence for this but that is the feeling amongst all the staff and players at Blackburn so that cant be good a sign. Also further news apparently a deal had been agreed with Andy Johnson from Fulham contract and fee agreed Johnson wanted to come however Venkys would not give the ok for the funds to be released. This is a worry as it means Venkys either have no money or refuse to fund the club resulting in Kean remaining in charge and no backing in January window. We are in BIG trouble. If I'd been the owner he wouldn't have got out of ewood last night without his P45 - I'd have made sure i had someone primed to give it him as soon as the match ended if/when we lost and then I'd have thought about picking up the pieces later. No morals after the way he criticised Venky's after Sam sacking" He's usually pretty reliable isnt he. Yeah Kamy normally has ears to the ground regarding these things....... but Bruce is no go area for me and probably will be for the owners after Sam's dismissal rant There is only one man that Venkys could use as a bargaining tool with the fans Mark Hughes. He has to come back. On another note just read Phil McNulty's BBC football blog on the Kean saga and some of the responses that we have been too harsh on him and that those who were booing chanting and chucking shirts and season tickets at the man at 90 mins were not real football fans. But would those fans be as calm and relaxed as they seem now if Steve Kean was in charge of their club and after a total of 38 league games (a full league season) he won the club 7 games drawn 11 and lost the rest as well as forfeited a league cup semi final place... yes he has his injury excuses and we've had more than our fair share this season mostly in defence, yes injuries like a heart defect and a ruptured testicle don’t happen to your average footballer but to use these time and time again as to why you’ve just lost another match. To insist that we have played well when our players get an average 3 or 4/10 for their performances. To lie through the back teeth about players being unavailable through injury when really the club cannot afford pay and give new contracts. To know nothing of a financial struggle and continue to talk about transfer targets it just beggars belief. quite simply a liar and back stabber

EwoodDawn
Come on Venkys. If you're reading this, think about the PR - your PR. There are so many football stories about today (Suarez, Terry, tonight's games, etc.) that, should you make an announcement now, you won't get as much (bad?) publicity as you might tomorrow. Groundhog
LMA make statement Just what we need. Can anyone tell me what was that bad about last night, compared to other games, that has caused the LM to release this? Old-boys network again I bet. Is it triggered by what happened at the final whistle around the dugout? From where I was sat, it was just the usual Kean out chants, but at higher volume. Kean is ###### bullet proof, everyone is on his side. Incredible.

gumboots
Absolute cretins... that's a polite version of what I thought. i am sick and fed up of being told the level of abuse is unacceptable. who decides what is acceptable? We've tried polite protests. People have done sensible things like writing to various people at the club. we've been down eveery possible avenue to get rid of this man and he just satnds there still, a reminder of all that is wrong with our club at the moment. It can't be pleasant for him, but he can walk. He won't and therefore it's not us making him put up with the abuse, it's the owners who won't sack him and him who won't resign. as for Bruce - I thought people kept saying it can't get any worse?!!! m1st
I never thought the day would dawn when we'd be shown how to run a football club by Rochdale; but the way their Board acted last weekend showns where their priorities lie. http://menmedia.co.uk/rochdaleobserver/sport/football/rochdale/s/1468441_steve-eyre-and-frankie-bunn-sacked-by-rochdale-fc Steve Eyre was a youth team coach at Manchester City who was appointed in June to manage Rochdale, despite not having any previous managerial experience. Does that remind you of anyone? . Slightly less than half a season later, with only 4 wins out of 21 League games and the team in the relegation zone, the Rochdale Board have decided that the experiment hasn't worked and he's been sacked because the Board want to try to maintain Rochdale's hard-won status in League One. Read and learn, Venky's.
Devon Rover
LMA make statement You see that just makes me angrier. I realise the LMA is probably just essentially a trade union for football managers however this statement levels blame at supporters and Kean's employers for the current situation. I agree with a large portion of blame lying with Venkys, however our fans should not be blamed for vociferously making clear their sheer anger and frustration at the mis-management of the club at all levels. Steve Kean is a major part of this (in my opinion) and has only served to rile supporters further through: 1. his constant excuses, mis-truths and demented soundbites, 2. his incitement of team supporters through his words in the media re 'good' and 'bad' fans and actions on occasion, 3. his actions and the nature of his completely rejected defence in relation to his drink driving conviction 4. his statement after the league cup exit Ultimately he has repeatedly asked to be judged at certain times. Those times have arrived and he has been judged as he requested. If he had any guts he would resign due to spectacularly failing to achieve what he said he would. But greed means he will not do this. I have no sympathy for the man and statements through the LMA etc will only cause my opinion to be strengthened. Kean Out.
Amo
I was just watching his post-match conference, because I'm stupid like that. "If we'd have played like we did in the second-half, we'd have won..." And if Bolton played like they did first-half, we'd have lost 4-0. What's your ****** point, you loser? The game lasts for 90 minutes, if you remember? I'm ashamed to say it but everytime I see him, I want to grab something dull and rusty.
Craigman
The LMA normally don't get involved until the manager has left the club. I hope this is the case here. Trying to get more of a pay off from Blackburn.
thenonda
It is very sad to witness the continued demonstrations by Rovers fans towards their manager. Blackburn Rovers is one of the country's oldest clubs, it was a founding member of the Football League, and is rightly proud of its long-standing history and tradition. It has been and continues to be a central part of a close-knit Lancastrian community. However, owners of clubs such as Blackburn Rovers, rely on the support and relationships they build with their fans and their local community. As new owners, the Venky's should build relationships, develop trust with their fans and communicate their vision on a regular basis in an open and visible way. Lma and kean attacking venous....
