EwoodDawn
"He who shall not be named" - could that be a reference to a certain someone who is allegedly threatening people into silence? If one had nothing to hide, allegedly putting the frighteners on would be a funny way to go about proving it.

Amo
Think it through, managers don't want Kean to be sacked. Its 6 points in the bag for them. Coyle would be insane to want him out, theres a relegation place taken up whilst Kean remains at the club. I wouldn't necessarily say that's Coyle's motive. He's under pressure himself, so it's only natural he'll want to fight Kean's corner. When Coyle said Kean was a "terrific manager" who deserved a chance, he was speaking for himself more than anyone else. It was the same when Tony Adams was struggling at Pompey and started sticking up for Ince.
Inta Beaver
The minority were nosy last night weren't they! Wake up Kean and walk away! My biggest fear is a new manager coming in and losing the Liverpool and Utd game, that takes away the instant reaction a team has to a new manager. Do we give him the rope to hang himself for another game?

I heard if you say "he who shall not be named"'s name he can see into your soul, and is jealous of the fact he has no soul himself. I heard that's what Venky's were tricked into doing by Kean and as a result "he who shall not be named" has control of their souls. The only way to rid the club of "he who should not be named" is to combine our powers and assault these now soul-puppets claiming to be owners. Or break the curse with the Wand of Hughes. ruggles1995
I cant believe the venkys are going to make no statement what so ever today, after all of last nights events, u would of expected some form of noise, even them coming out and backing kean, something. They must have no idea on what to do
AllRoverAsia
There is always the possibility that the only person who can sack Steve Kean is Kean himself. In other words, he has an agreement with the owners that he has a job for as long as he wants it. IMO for sure that is the case. The underlying question is really who are the 'owners'. beerwins
Have Venky's actually put any money into the club? This is something that is bothering me, if they have'nt put any money into the club then they have nothing to lose do they as it will be the club that suffers if they just walk away. They actually made money from player transfers and did'nt put any in then over the summer, they may have put money in January but will have got that back from an advance from Barclays. What do the owners stand to lose from doing nothing? I know one thing they will have to put 2-3 million in if they want sack Kean, I bet they wait till Jan till they have sold some players. John
With the reported financial problems at the club, why all of a sudden do we think the Rao family are going to do anything?

I don't - but i somehow can't stop hoping. Camus was right - the worst thing to come out of Pandora's box was hope - it's so painful to go on hoping. watford-rover
we will be playing the in championship next year, and im sure we will still have kean as manager. Venkys are to useless to do the right thing. they have to be the worst owners the premier league has ever seen imo. just goes to prove that the grass isnt always greener, i used to complain that we never had no money to invest in the squad. I wish it was the 07/08 season again
AlanK
Has there ever been another occasion when someone with no managerial experience has been put in charge of a premier league football club without having the infrastrucure of a chairman or CEO etc for support and has to travel to London or another continent for meetings that should take place in the club boardroom? The guy never stood a chance but has to go as he is so far out of his depth on and off the field. What experienced manager would put himself in the same position though? We are in a worse position off the field than we are on it and thats what worries me the most.

Camus was right - the worst thing to come out of Pandora's box was hope - it's so painful to go on hoping. Much easier and less painful to let go and then just carry on. I've lost all hope for staying up this season. I'm starting to lose hope that we will have a club left soon. I'm also starting to resent the sanctimonious "I'll be here when we're in the conference" attitude that I hear from some people at Ewood. The only HOPE I have left is that a credible buyer will step forward and Venkys will sell. That is fading too... the Walkers had one chance to get that right - and failed. BigAlan
That's it, I'm done. I can't take anymore of this Steve Kean show. Whats the old saying "there is no one bigger than the club". ######, Kean has proved that obviously he is. Im in absolute disbelief at how this is allowed to continue. Rover_Shaun
It's the wifes birthday on the 2nd so I got her a ticket in the hope that logic would have prevailed by now. If Kean is still here by the time the ticket office re-opens after xmas then a refund will be saught and I will wisk here away to the Lakes or somewhere. I really want to continue my sensible mans action against Kean but not at the expense of my family life.....I think my head would fall off. Grant is with Zahavi, but isn't Zahavi Mrs D's new favourite advisor relating to footballing matters after finding out the "friend of the family" was not as trustworthy as they first thought? still helped get Yakubu to Ewood
