MarkBRFC71
Kean working day and night for these 4 signings - bidding for Andy Johnson tomorrow. I was going to say 'do we really need another Championship- quality striker?' but actually I think Kean's showing remarkable foresight to be building for next season already! Black Burn
I was going to say 'do we really need another Championship- quality striker?' but actually I think Kean's showing remarkable foresight to be building for next season already! Not to mention his desperation to offer Johnson a bonus to keep us up. Let's hope Kamy and Nicko are right, and we'll be seeing a new manager tomorrow after the dough from Dubai flows in. Pray, people, pray really really hard.
imy9
Don't think either said that Black burn... Think they said Venkys will make a decision today back or sack.
Kamy100
Big 24 hours for Rovers, Venny arrived back from India last night and he will carry out whatever Mrs D/Family have decided to do. I am told that there this finance coming in from Dubai, so the question is do they sack Kean and let a new manager spend that money or to back Kean and let him spend it. If they back Kean then expect the likes of Andy Johnson to arrive very soon (as per Nicko's article last night). If they do sack Kean they can get around paying him off immediately by putting him on "gardening leave".

Ferrit
I see one more has come out of the woodwork and voted to keep Kean after the result against Liverpool. Surely a troll.

I cannot understand your comment re "gardening leave" as they will have to continue to pay him until the end of his contract which will equate to the same amount if they paid him off now. But not all in one lump. It's like sacking him on HP and if he gets another job (some hope) the payments stop.
Mike Graham
Another job!!! Very funny stuff Al. There again perhaps Moyes, Fergie or Coyle will give their best mate a job?

With a name like ChrisT I would agree with you. In fact looking at the names I would say that only about 4 or 5 of them are genuine posters and most of those are well known for liking to be controversional. Bobby G
Ive spoken to Kamy about this and if something is going to happen expect it by tomorrow otherwise it may just be Kean's window.
Craigman
It will be his window. No way will they sack him, that would involve some common sense and our owners do not have that.
EwoodDawn
I don't know if it's Majiball's rendition of 'The Charge of the Light Brigade' or because the silly season of the transfer window's rapidly approaching but I keep being reminded of a poem that makes me and my children chuckle. I can change a tractor tyre Visit hobbits in the shire Balance high upon a wire Liar! Liar! Pants on fire! Liar! Liar! Pants on fire! I can't stand this heating Driving me insane Wherever I am seating My bottom is in pain Feel the flames reaching higher Ooh! Aah! Pants on fire! Ooh! Aah! Pants on fire! ... Always in the hot seat Wherever I am going The scorching and the torching My rear is always glowing Hotter than a deep fat fryer Glowing in this strange attire Feel the flames reaching higher Ooh! Kamy100
Before people get overly excited, I am not saying that he is deffo getting sacked, all I am saying is that Venny is back from India and will carry out whatever has been decided by Mrs D/the family, it is more than likely that they will back him, but if any other decision has been made then we will know within the next 24 hours or so. My gut feeling is that he will not be sacked and will be given money to spend. Let's see what happens over the next day or so.

Sorry, I meant "based on what Nicko and Kamy tweeted, let's hope that they sack Steve Kean and hire Mark Hughes." And Kamy posted right after I talked about his latest tweet. Cool, let's hope he has more news regarding this. For now I'll cross my fingers and pray really hard. Edit: I just saw Kamy's latest post. NOOOOOOOOO! Amo
Yet more raised hopes. Disappointment beckons. You'd think people would've learnt their lesson by now. Just waiting for Mercer's bookies exclusive now. Some of them might have voted for Kean out of sympathy rather than because they support him. So it isn't that they're being ridiculous, but they think, "oh well, everyone's going to vote him out anyway, so I'll give him a vote of confidence because I pity the poor guy". I see a flaw in your logic.

sharpysharps
I fully expect Andy Johnson to be lining up for Rovers very soon rather than Steve Kean getting sacked. I have no faith in Venky's being able to sack Kean even if they wanted to, they are scared of hurting his feelings probably. On the plus side, Johnson might be decent in the Championship :/

Amo
Sorry for being stupid. What's the flaw? Don't worry, I didn't vote for Kean to stay. Giving Kean a pity vote for the sake of it is asinine. The question is 'SHOULD Kean be sacked?' which is an overwhelming YES. Anyone voting otherwise is clearly trolling or out of their skull.
