Am I the only one that thinks it's bizarre just how much media coverage Kean is getting- all positive, by the way.

Main story AGAIN on Sky Sports News.

They WANT to make us out as stupid because they WANT us to fail. Whether it's in their subconscious or at the forefront, it's they still want the same outcome.

The problem with tv presenters and pundits is that they generally don't know anything about Blackburn Rovers as a football club and what is actually going on. The only person i've seen on tv during Rovers demise who actually talks sense is Robbie Savage.

On a side note - Its a shame that the football league show has been canned by the BBC!

This could be the best chance to get rid of us that they are ever likely to have.

What I do find odd is that Coyle isn't getting nearly as much airtime. Maybe he's not as media friendly or maybe it's because the Bolton fans haven't turned on him?

Coyle doesn't have to cling to his job by continually releasing 'positive' press deliberately intended for the owners to hear in India. Its simple really.

Still not kept a clean sheet until April – Kean is front story at the moment on the BBC Sport (football section) website.

Speaking about it with Spurs and Man Utd fans in the office, they simple cannot believe he has not been sacked yet, they are completely stunned.

With Stoke being our next home match, a new manager bounce could have helped in gaining three very much needed points - I am so disillusioned we have blown this last opportunity to save our season and perhaps our future.

No chance he is getting sacked if he did a press conference today along with his stupid comments.

However, there has been an assurance money will be found to assist with a relegation fight and Kean is optimistic Venky's will deliver.

"We would like to think we can keep the majority of the squad together.

"There will be interest on players, like there is in every window. But we want to keep the squad together and build on it and make sure we can add faces and not take them away.

"That is going to be very important for the next two or three years. We want to keep as many of the young players that we can."

When is Kean, not optimistic? If he fell off a cliff, his eyes would be fixed on the sky, muttering "I'll be shocked if the ground hits me".

Kamy mentioned a 24 hour period (where we find out the outcome of Mrs D's ponderings). Is that time up yet? Or is that now "tomorrow"?

Or can we assume from the presser today that there is nothing more to be said? Funding will be "found" and Kean will be in charge for at least the next 2-3 years.

From the Beeb website today.

"Hopefully they can come back in the next few days and say that we can be active at a good level."

Bizarre as though it sounds, as I suggested a few days ago, whether they retain Kean or not may well depend on Saturday's result - a drubbing and he goes, a narrow loss or better and he stays.

Absolutely crazy but then again we should be surprised by nothing.

It's gotten to the point where merely looking at him makes me annoyed. Listening to him spout his endless optimistic drivel and meaningless platitudes from other managers, makes me feel physically ill. He is obviously blindly oblivious to the plight we are in or just simply doesn't care. Either way, he makes my blood boil and I can't stand the fact that despite all he has done, he has somehow managed to get the media on his side and have the fans looking like the bad guys.

Our Iron Lady really has some delusional view on events.

I absolutely agree in that we had one last opportunity to maybe make it a fighting affair, but instead Mr. Charisma has spent his week talking himself up as a victim of some sort of hate crime, gaining support from people left, right and center, whilst the real issue hasnt been dealt with.

Kept off the TV during the festive season due to budget and scheduling issues according to the Beeb. It will return after the FA cup 3rd round.

Apparently its one of the monst expensive BBC programmes to make in ££££'s per viewer due to all the editing, cameras, commentators etc etc.

So we are stuck with the imposter. Going to give him a lovely reception on monday. ######

I don't think there was ever a chance of him getting sacked.

Not if we lost to Swansea, not if we lost to Bolton, WBA, Liverpool, United... whoever else.

The talk about points targets was information put out by a source that didn't know enough. Elements of the media, Nixon and Cryer included, picked it up and ran with it. To many it became gospel.

We'll be playing Championship football next year, and Kean will still be manager.

I guess Kean's current tactic is to tell Mrs D that a couple if cheap signings and a couple of loans will keep us up. Offset this with sales and a couple of high earners off the wage bill means very little investment.

Compare this to paying him off, appointing any decent manager and backroom staff and then giving them a decent transfer budget. Saves a fortune in the short term.

Owners are a disgrace, 2 days until the transfer window and he doesnt know his budget.

Kean's a disgrace for too many reasons to bother mentioning.

Once last chance to stay up, sack him before Monday and give a proper manager some money.
