Backroom DE. Posted January 2, 2012 Backroom Posted January 2, 2012 Paul Walsh is a know-nothing twonk. His opinions are up there with Merson's as utterly laughable, so no surprise he was speaking crap.

Stuart Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 I was watching Gillette Soccer Special earlier and again some of the pundits on it just don't seem to get it. Alan McAnally (who I think talks a lot of sense usually) was talking about how he's mates with Kean and how he wouldn't be walking away from the club, unless the owners sacked him, so the fans should just wake up and realise that he isn't going anywhere! Charming. Paul Walsh, another pundit who I like listening to, was of the opinion that he hoped Kean would keep Rovers up so he could 'shove it up the Rovers fans who've been giving him stick.' Again, just brushing over the fact that the guy has won 8 games from 40. You mean like I posted on the previous page Roy?
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 So that's 8 wins in 40 games....a truly pathetic stat if ever there was one. How the hell are we going to turn our form on its head in the second half of this season to have a chance of survival?....we all know deep down its simply not going to happen.
Mattyblue Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Those pundits have contempt for the people that actually shell out to watch football, 'my mate Stevie will shove it up 'em'.
Stuart Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Those pundits have contempt for the people that actually shell out to watch football, 'my mate Stevie will shove it up 'em'. The thing is Matty, these people have contempt for ordinary reasonable human beings. McAnally said "Kean will not quit, he is a proud man", when it is clear to even a casual observer the he has no pride at all. In terms of making people miserable then laughing behind their backs, Kean could give the Hollywood arsonists a run for their money. Who's more fool though, the fool who gives an ex-player a microphone and platform, the fool of an ex-player, or the fool listening?
Kendalrover Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Here we go again - posted about 23.10 on Twitter. ! glen9mullanglen mullan Reports Dave Jones currently in hotel in Blackburn, SEM client, fits budget, but lets hope not, not a name high on list i was told but ???? Another false alarm. Dave Jone was working on BBC 5 Live Extra.
Stuart Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Another false alarm. Dave Jone was working on BBC 5 Live Extra. Didn't we find that out yesterday?
JamieUK Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Totally inept and clueless tactics today. 1 up front at home with no support from midfield and no changes until bout half an hour to go. Virtually the same side from 48 hours ago will have played a part too-I can understand giving the players a chance to build on a good result but there was also a need for freshness too.
thenodrog Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 This is probably out of Keans tied hands.I have been one of TEFLONS biggest critics on here but by Christ, those gobshytes from Pune are strangling this club to death if the above in bold happens. The heat clearly needs to be turned up on the cluleless Rao's..the people who are REALLY responsible for this mess with promise after promise broken! I imagine that there will be players coming in if some leave.... they prob wont be as good but that wont matter just as long as our resident weasel manages to skim off a slice of each deal in order to swell his swiss account? He will be going at it full tilt now that he will be seeing the buffers coming up fast on his own personal gravy train.
Seggie Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 The frustration is we can score goals and at times we look ok going forward. Trouble is we usually need to score twice to even draw, this is the real problem, so common sense dictates Kean should be trying to fix this but every week its the same relying on Samba or a keeper to play out of their skin with no real structure or organisation. He should concentrate on shutting up shop or get a coach in to work with the defence.
Disillusioned Rover Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 As long as any new defence coach isn't Nigel Winterburn seggie!
Amo Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 He should concentrate on shutting up shop He did. We lost to Sunderland. or get a coach in to work with the defence. Did Hughes or Allardyce have defence specialists? We just need a manager who knows what the feck he's doing.
thenodrog Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Did Hughes or Allardyce have defence specialists? We just need a manager who knows what the feck he's doing. Correct. kin 'specialists' are just jobs for the boys
Backroom DE. Posted January 2, 2012 Backroom Posted January 2, 2012 Any Kean out rumours? No, rumour has it the Liverpool and Man Utd results prompted Venky's to offer him a lifetime contract.
Amo Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Any Kean out rumours? Ask Mercerman. His finger's usually on the pulse.
Seggie Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 He did. We lost to Sunderland. Did Hughes or Allardyce have defence specialists? We just need a manager who knows what the feck he's doing. I suspect Hughes used Bowens defensive knowlege and thats what Allardyce knows best anyway. I'd do anything to see Kean replaced but if these muppets insist on keeping him here at least give him a backroom team that does know what they are doing. Also, Do we still even have scouts? We only seem to be able to play well against teams that have been on the telly recently.
John Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 I am just getting quite bored discussing this prick and having him as manager of the club.
AllRoverAsia Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 No, rumour has it the Liverpool and Man Utd results prompted Venky's to offer him a lifetime contract. OMG and probably true.
John Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Patronising comments from Kean & Pulis post match.
RoyRover Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 You mean like I posted on the previous page Roy? I apologise for not reading the previous pages before posting my opinions Jisty and hope I haven't offended you.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted January 2, 2012 Moderation Lead Posted January 2, 2012 Patronising comments from Kean & Pulis post match. What were they saying? Heard Kean on radio rovers on the way home, never know why I bother with that propagandist sh1te, it makes me want to drive into a brick wall.
