broadsword Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Correct. kin 'specialists' are just jobs for the boys Remember what Allardyce said after he binned Winterburn? "I can look after that basic area now."

RoyRover Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Paul Walsh is a know-nothing twonk. His opinions are up there with Merson's as utterly laughable, so no surprise he was speaking crap. I used to think Paul Merson had some good things to say, despite being inarticulate. But the way he's talked about Rovers lately makes me sick and I've really gone off him.
DanielMB Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Maybe its time to close this thread and start supporting another team? ;-)
BigAlan Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 So, we lost again. But hey, give the worst manager in Rovers history a break. We support the team, we lose. We give kean abuse, we lose. A bad egg is a bad egg, get him out
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 I am just getting quite bored discussing this prick and having him as manager of the club. Get used to it John,Mrs D think's he's simply orgasmic after the Utd fluke, today does not matter nor the league table.
sharpysharps Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 He won't be going anywhere this season at least. Lets face it if losing at home to WBA and Bolton in a row isn't enough to get you sacked after a miserable season so far then its safe to say he never will while Rovers are in the premiership. The win against United has given me a great memory of Rovers last league game there for some time as I fully expect to be watching Championship football next season. Just hope its not with Kean at the helm and that Venky's are gone in the summer.
Amo Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 what did coco say after? "We deserved to lose. Team selection was all wrong. Henceforth, I renounce my status as manager with immediate effect."
BuckyRover Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 No Kean out rumours, only that he will be rewarded with a contract in the summer whatever happens.
Amo Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Why do you want any Kean Out rumours? They only turn out to be different flavours of bullcrap. The guy beat Man. Utd at OT. He's probably got his own shrine in Venky's Manor now.
Stuart Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 I apologise for not reading the previous pages before posting my opinions Jisty and hope I haven't offended you. Must try harder Roy! Those Soccer Saturday Moobs are starting to really do my head in. Sanctimonious, pompous, patronising ####s. A whose who of out of date, washed up, old boys club, backslappers. They make the MOTD sofa look like a space shuttle cockpit.
RibbleValleyRover Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 The great leader thanks the fans for their support - Rovers lose
47er Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 The thing is Matty, these people have contempt for ordinary reasonable human beings. McAnally said "Kean will not quit, he is a proud man", when it is clear to even a casual observer the he has no pride at all. In terms of making people miserable then laughing behind their backs, Kean could give the Hollywood arsonists a run for their money. Who's more fool though, the fool who gives an ex-player a microphone and platform, the fool of an ex-player, or the fool listening? We are proud supporters. Doesn't it cut both ways? Why does the goon expect us to give in?
beerwins Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 The great leader thanks the fans for their support - Rovers lose A bit of humility can go a long way, first time I have'nt had to cringe reading some quotes from him.
gumboots Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 A bit of humility can go a long way, first time I have'nt had to cringe reading some quotes from him. He's run out of excuses now we've all stopped booing him! I still can't listen to him - humility reminds me of Uriah Heep
mjs Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 It will take a hell of alot more than that. A few wins might help. Not going to happen though. KEAN OUT
Jock Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 A bit of humility can go a long way, first time I have'nt had to cringe reading some quotes from him. He'll do what it takes to get his hands on the January sales kitty.
RoverRich Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 How I would love to hear Kean give an interview like Mick McCarthy's today. He says he is fed up of talking about his team's spirit and effort. Wants to see an end to crap defending and conceding goals. Ring any bells??? Only difference is McCarthy looks genuinely livid and about to let rip at his team for blowing it whilst all I can imagine Kean doing is praising the players and blowing yet more smoke up their behinds. Mick McCarthy's Post Match Interview
Rovers_786 Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 steve kean has only stay in this job because his wife has become good friends with MRS DESAI so strange.
Majiball Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 The great leader thanks the fans for their support - Rovers lose I wonder if Coco's new years resolution was to be a better man?
SAS Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 Has Kean actually done any press conference recently??? It just seems to be quotes that he first came out with months ago. We'll turn the corner We deserved more A few lads are on the way back
davulsukur Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 I wonder if Coco's new years resolution was to be a better manager?
Stuart Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 My lad was very disappointed today. He got Steve Kean in Match Attax. (4 stars, no less, same as Mancini, naturally). He and his brother have been taking it in turns to stand on him. Well, it made me chuckle...
BRFC1995 Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 when steve kean was stopped by the cops he was asked to take a breath test but refused due to his asthma and produced his inhaler, the cops then asked for a blood test and he refused again saying he was a haempheliac and produced a medical card from his wallet. He was screwed however when it dawned on the cops who he was and that they were entitled to take the p1ss. made me chuckle today
